Sonikya is similar to every vampire test subject. She ages quite slowly, and not quite sure if she will stop at a certain time or if she will just continues to age. Her speed is much more than that of a human being, this also includes her strength. She hasn’t met any other vampires, but she has been told that she has their same hearing and sight. This will indeed also include her sense of smell. Sonikya has sharp, long, pearly white fangs and fairly long nails. Only when she gets angry or protective do her eyes flash red.
Appearance »»
Sonikya is at a height of roughly about 5’8” and weighs 104 lbs. Her hair is a long, glossy black that is incredibly wavy. It’s usually seen in a ponytail, braid or just down, draping around her shoulders. Her bangs barely drape over her eyebrows. Sonikya’s eyes are a deep, mind-blowing purple that often look blank or like their staring far into your soul. She is often found wearing dark clothes, such a s dresses or skirts, with the occasional cape. The cape is black, of course.

History »»
Sonikya was born and raised under the roof of Tohru and Kyo Hanajima on a deathly cold December night, the moon and stars invisible in the dark sky. Barely making it to the hospital in time, Tohru gave birth to a happy baby girl with midnight black hair, and deep purple eyes. Tohru and Kyo were a bit confused on the physical looks of their new child, but loved her anyway. Who cares if she didn’t look like the new parents?
Kyo and Tohru raised her carefully and lovingly. They never yelled or struck her, and they always had fun. She was full of laughs and giggles. She loved her parents, and her parents loved her more than anything. They were wrapped in their own world, not focusing on any possible dangers there might be, until it was much too late to do anything about it.
When Sonikya was ten years of age, she was walking home from school. She was depressed slightly due to being bullied at school for how creepy and dark she looked. She wanted to cheer up a bit before going home so she wouldn’t worry her parents. Walking through the park, she found a lost dog. Approaching it, she smiled at how friendly it was. At least someone other than her parents liked her, right? Even if it was an animal, animals were people too. Only then the dog froze, and it’s back arched up into the air, more than it should have been able to, and the skin fell off as a net sprung through the air. It wasn’t a real dog at all!
The rope wrapped around Sonikya as Turics from the SRA came and collected their new prize. Sonikya was awful scared, obviously, she was only ten years of age. She had no clue of where she was or why she was here and whenever she asked she never got a reply. When she was alone, she would space off and think of home, what they were doing, if they cared, if they were looking for her, did they know? These thoughts filled in her mind, and always broke her down.
As years went by with these painful experiments, she soon became like a stone, cold and facial expression rarely changing. Being in the dark almost the whole time she was there, she had gathered a slight fear of bright colors. Spiders had always surrounded her, and she hated them anyway so only increased her phobia of them.
After four years in captivation, Sonikya gradually got sick of the SRA. It took many tries, but finally the now fourteen year old girl got free. The memories of her family raced through her mind as she raced through the streets of Liba. She never stopped once. When she reached the front door and stepped onto the porch, her hand slowly and shakily reached for the doorknob, but then froze. Her blood ran cold as she spotted them through the window. They were smiling and playing around. She looked to the side. Her heart ached with each beat as adrenaline flowed through her veins. Maybe they had forgotten about her? Either way, she couldn’t bring herself to open the door. Turning away, her eyes filled to the brim with hot tears as she ran off once more. She was scared. What if they rejected her now? No, she couldn’t bear that pain, she couldn’t face them. Gradually Sonikya disappeared into the streets of Liba as rain began to pour down like a raging waterfall.
It has now been a year since Sonikya had escaped from the SRA, and not once has she come in contact with her parents. She is now even colder and lonelier than ever, but she hides her loneliness along with everything else. Her mind will occasionally linger back to them and being a family again, but she never overcomes her fear of being rejected, though from time to time she will approach the house and peek through the window to see how they are doing. She hasn’t cried since the day she left for the last time. This brings her to present day.
