Spring and Stars [Lightning] Oct 1, 2014 14:57:06 GMT

It smelled bad here. Really bad. Like old people, bodily outputs, decaying meat, and dust. Of course, it was a slightly stronger smell for somebody with a heightened sense of it, losing a sense increases others. Haru put her hand to her face, covering what little could be seen of it with her outstretched fingers.
Haru decided that enough was enough of the smell, and continued wandering. This place had to have an end, right? With her other hand slightly in front of her, her hypersensitive, lax fingers searching for that wall she always ran into otherwise as she walked with a slightly awkward pace. She felt to see if there was ground in front of her every few steps, just to make sure she wasn't going to walk off a random cliff.
A cliff in a stinky place like this? Okay, Haru.
A familiar 'sight' began heading her way though, a faint light. This light was orange, slightly angered, annoyed, and frustrated. Haru knew to keep away from that silhouette, it meant trouble. In a stinky place like this, it probably stunk too. She moved to the side, and pushed herself against the wall of the narrow walkway. This, however, angered the owner of the light more. The light started for her, and pushed her.
A tall man with broad shoulders, thick arms, and a small head pushed Haru against the wall. "What's your problem, lady?" His threatening words made Haru tilt her head. Was that directed to her? Another push, "I'm talking to you!" Haru glared at him under the mesh covering her eyes.
"I just moved out of your way." She said as if it was a blatant fact. The man grabbed her coat, and lifted her feet off the ground. Haru wasn't impressed, if that was what he was going for, and she kicked him in the gut from her point in the air. He dropped her, yay.
Now Haru had a new problem. More lights were heading this way, very similar to the man with stinky breath in front of her. Friends of the man, Haru assumed. Two more lights came over, going on either side of Haru. One of them grabbed her arm, "Hey boss, she probably has some money, look at her clothes." He said in a higher-pitched voice.
Haru suppressed her laughter, and stayed silent. She would wait for a good time to grab a claw that she kept at her belt, and swing. As always, leaving it for last minute.
