Chase was fused with the DNA of a common raven. His lungs have been made larger, his heart is also larger, his eyesight is extremely sharp, and his vocal chords allow him to mimic many sounds. His bones are very thin, but his muscles are extremely strong. The change in his DNA also changed his eye and hair colors, along with a few mannerisms. His stomach is made of steel, and he can eat just about anything it seems like, but it isn't actually true. There are lots of things he can't eat, but more things he can.
Appearance »»
Chase is tall, six foot five to be exact. He looks like a basketball player, with lean muscles, tallness, and the build of an athlete. His skin is slightly tanned, and his hair which used to be blond is now a black with a tinge of purple. His eyes are exactly the same color as his eyes. Chase is extremely attractive. He appears to be about twenty-four, he is a young man. Some might even say he is hot.
His hair is a mess of unevenly cut black-ish purlpe-ish hair. His body is accompanied with an extra set of limbs, if you would like to call them that. He has a pair of midnight black wings set on his back. His wingspan is about twenty-one feet across.

Chase is a very easy-going guy. He is really just a mellow guy. He can be quite mischievous and playful at times, but most of the time he is just doing his best to be a good example to others. he does what's right, even when it sucks for him. He loves his family, his country, and his friends. Chase might have been a cowboy in a past life, almost every kind of animal gets along with him. He has a good heart.
He has a tendency to be a bit sexist. It isn't like he is telling girls they can't do stuff, but he can't help but to worry about them all the time. Really, he doesn't like to see his sister, or any other women, do anything dangerous. He doesn't mind stepping in to help wherever he is needed. Chase is the role-model citizen,
When Chase isn't absolutely being a perfect, role-model, citizen, he is doing whatever he wants to do. Some might even go so far as to say that all his good behavior was just him trying to cover up his bad behavior. Chase can come off as a bit of a jerk himself occasionally, although he hates them. His mellow attitude makes it easy for him to kick back and relax at some party. He is a gentleman, and a flirt. His charms have usually won women over.
He is very observant, and notices all sorts of little things. Since becoming a test subject he has had a insatiable desire to collect small, shiny objects. He collects them, and turns them into necklaces and bracelets. Anything that sparkles immediately grabs his attention. He is always carrying around small items like that, and snacks of bags full of nuts and berries.
Chase has never really been the type to get very close to anyone. You think your getting closer to him, but usually your not. When he thinks someone is sneaking into his shell he often pulls away.

History »»
Skylar Chase Thompson was born to a quarreling couple on the verge of divorce. It seemed he would have on more brother before his mother finally ditched all of them for some pimp she decided to date. Well his father was heart broken, but it didn't change how much he loved his three sons. Soon his father was dating again, and a little sister would join the pack, before that woman ran off as well. Nothing really changed, except now there was a little flower in the house that loved to roll in mud.
Chase loved his family, and although his family was never rich, he had a good childhood. He wrestled with his siblings, and did admit to picking on his sister as much as his other brothers. She was a tough cookie, and secretly, he really admired that. Of course like all brothers he would never admit that his sister was sort of cool.
When he started school all his teachers loved him. He was very smart, but PE teachers like him the most since he seemed like a little athlete. They would tease and ask if he was on steroids, and he got super serious and denied it. He was a very cute juvenile, with a strong sense of right and wrong. His grades always kept to the top of the class, but besides taking a few advanced classes nothing really happened for him outside of sports, where lots of sports-fan parents were all crazy about him.
Chase was about six and three-fourths when it happened. He was walking home from school, and a van pulled up to the side walk. Chase ignored it like a good little boy, but then he noticed a tall man get out of the van, and start following him. Chase got nervous so he sped up, so did the man, until they were both running. It didn't even take the full length of the block for the man to catch him, and throw him in the back of the van. Chase was kidnapped just like that, out of the blue. You could imagine how scared he was.
While his brothers and father worried about him (his sister was too young to remember), he was being locked up with a bunch of older kids in the man's basement. Chase was the youngest there, and he clinked to the oldest teenager there the entire time. The young lady was very nice to him, and held him the whole time. Everyone was very scared, and soon days turned into weeks, with the mad man shouting at them about things that didn't even make sense.
After a while that man truly lost it. He opened up the cage and went in with a gun and started attacking them. First he grabbed the girl by the hair, the one that had been holding Chase in her arms. She screamed and Chase ran away, the older girl reached and pulled away his gun, accidentally firing it off at the ground. The man let go of her in surprise, and the girl held up the gun. Chase, a boy named Peter and two of the other girls had seen there chance to get out of the cage. The teenager with the gun kept it pointed at their attacker. Peter, Chase and one other teenage girl managed to get upstairs before the man could lock the others downstairs and go after them. Chase followed Peter, until he saw that he was going to a phone. Chase was scared, and calling anyone didn't seem like a good idea at the moment. In a panic he ran down the hallway, into the kitchen where he saw the teenage girl climbing out the window. She held out her hand to him, offering help out. He ran towards her but he noticed an expression of horror on the girl's face as the man ran forward out of nowhere and picked the little boy up and covered his mouth while he tried to scream.
The teenager managed to get out of the window, and slam it shut and fall backwards. The man punched through the window, but it was too late. The teenage girl went to the neighbors for help. The man only had Chase to take his anger out on now. He ended up trying to strangle the little boy but he squirmed so much that he fell out of grasp. The man picked up a lamp and threw it at the little boy. It hit him on the back of his head and his back, knocking Chase out. Chase doesn't know what exactly happened after that. When he woke up in a hospital his family was there, and he had more then a few stitches. He heard later that when the man had been attacking him, that Peter had managed to give the police the information. Chase felt sort of like a hero, he survived that, and was enough of a distraction to help get everyone help. He had truly taken one for the team.
Soon after hearing that, he found out what happened to Peter, and just about puked. How could anyone do that?! Chase cried, and he cried for the rest of the day. There was no consoling him, and then he fell asleep, and when he woke up he didn't say a word. Chase didn't say anything for almost a month, which kind of made it hard to talk about what happened and get over it. He was really screwed up after that incident. It seemed like out of the blue, when he suddenly started acting normal again, talking, going back to school, and playing sports. No one could get him to talk about what happened, no matter how hard they pressed.
Things went back to normal. No one talked about what happened, unless it was in private and they thought Chase couldn't hear them. His little sister didn't know, and that always made it comforting. At least one person doesn't think I'm damaged goods, he would think. Chase fell back into his old habits, arguing with his siblings, getting in fist fights with his siblings, wiping the floor with other athletes, doing well in school.
When Chase was about fifteen something changed. He had been out at a late game, and was walking home by himself. He heard the sounds of a struggle and went off to investigate. Some guy was mugging a middle-aged woman. It brought back flashbacks of what had happened to Chase all those years ago. It ticked him off, and Chase ran up and put the mugger in a head lock, forcing him to drop the gun and give back the purse. The woman called the police, and Chase was really a hero again. After that, he knew what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He started martial arts, and progressed through the belts easily. By the time he was out of high school, he had learned a lot of mixed martial arts. Shortly after he went off to college, where he got an associate degree, and then went off to the police academy. Soon he had finished that, and at the age of twenty two he became a police officer.
The following two years would be filled with Chase catching the bad guys, being a hero, and getting shot at. His family was very proud of him. Then during his first year of being a police officer something horrible happened in his life yet again. He was called to the scene of a drunk driver accident. The drunk driver had hit a pedestrian and she was being wheeled into an ambulance when he got there. Immediately he knew it was his sister, he couldn't even describe how angry he was. The chief told him he couldn't work on the case, and that ticked him off more, but when news that his sister was now dead, he was so filled with grief he couldn't function anyways. It killed him to see the sadness in his father's eyes. Chase couldn't get the image of his sister's body being driven away in an ambulance. Chase had managed to get her dog Shep, and take care of it while packing up Hana's belongings from her apartment. About a week later there was a break in at her apartment, and whoever did it took a few of her boxes, and the dog. Chase was angry, but didn't really react as much as his older brother, who went off and yelled at the police chief for letting this happen.
After that, there was a closed casket funeral, and shortly after he was back on the job. It really irritated him how the world had lost one of the most amazing people that had ever lived, his sister, and was getting along just fine. He now did his work with an anger driven passion, arresting every criminal he could find. Doing his best to get them all off the streets.
Soon he had put over a hundred criminals behind bars. He won employee of the month several times in a row. People looked up to him, and for the first time in a while kids could actually say their hero was a cop.
Chase was surprised to see the other boy from that incident all those years back. Well actually they were both men now, and apparently Peter was his doctor. Chase noticed the bandages Peter wore, and remembered all the stuff that had happened that day. It was gruesome alright. Peter personally explained everything to Chase, who those men were, what was going on here. Chase had some mixed feelings about all of this. They were kidnapping minors, which he of course that was horrible, but ti was to serve his country, which he loved. He decided he would do his part to the best of his ability, and fight for his country. Soon he had gone through the changes of becoming a test subject, and was left to go through training. He was an obedient soldier, and was already pretty well trained already. He hasn't been there long, but has already noticed a bunch of differences in his own personality since coming here. The wings are a new thing too, he would need to learn how to use them...
