VAMPIRES Vampires are a hidden society that is just as complicated as the human's society. In general they are secretive, and tend to blend in with the crowd. They don't choose sides, and just keep their own skin safe. They are usually extremely loyal to their government, but lately there has been division among the people due to political tension. With the absence of their king their government has been run by their council, which has made no efforts besides negotiation to rescue the king. Some parts of the vampire government have become corrupt and a handful of young vampires have struck it out on their own to form a group called the MnM.

The Government
The vampire government keeps a short leash on the citizens. They are required to follow the vampiric laws, and do anything asked of them or else. Capital punishment is no controversy among politicians, for the good of vampire society they will not hesitate to execute traitors and threats.

Common Vampire Laws!
• Never drink blood from a human who is unaware of the existence of vampires and/or unwilling, this is taboo and endangers the entire vampire race. If you feed on a human without killing them they become a human slave to that vampire who gives them a telepathic link and the human is under a magical spell that forces them to follow any direct order given to them by their master. Feeding on a human slave is not taboo or illegal.
• Never reveal yourself to a human unless you are taking them as a slave.
• Do not take more than four humans for slaves at one time.
• The only legal way to get rid of a slave is to kill them, or to command them to stop being your slave and forget everything they know about vampires.
• Do not break human laws for this attracts their attention and endangers all vampires.
• Do not openly discuss vampire related topics when humans are present.
• Do not feed when humans are nearby, only feed in private residences and in vampire clubs.
• Under no circumstances should a vampire and human reproduce or become romantically involved this is taboo and creates children who are weaklings.
• Do not kill a pure blood, this is punishable by death.
•Follow the instructions of those on the vampire council and the vampire king at all times, NEVER disobey them. - Punishable and endangers the individual breaking the law.

How does the government operate?
Similarly to an old democratic government there are several branches to the vampiric government.
The monarchy branch consists of the royal family. The royal family provides a king, prime minister, secretary of war and defense, secretary of state, and ambassador.
The legislative branch consists of noble vampires who have been deemed wise and appropriate leaders. They serve terms of one century and can be re-elected without any set limits. There is a total of one hundred and one vampires on the legislative council. The legislative council takes over when the monarchy branch if there is no king.
The Judicial branch consists of thirteen justices. These justices can serve for life or until they decide to retire. They are appointed by the king himself, and can only be removed by the king or a unanimous vote from the legislative council. They judge all severe crimes and prescribe punishment to the criminal as they see fit. They also see that there are a few smaller courts where other vampire squeamishness can be judged.

The Average Life of A Vampire
Most common and noble vampires live in the towns and cities of Liba. They are often popular among the humans who mistake their beauty and irresistible charm for human characteristics. Their pretty pale skin and sometimes good looks land them good jobs and you would have a hard time finding any vampire in the lower class unless they were doing things that kept them in the gutter. Vampires who don't use their talents can end up as maids or babysitters but most vampires stay away from that menial work.
Vampires drink artificial blood because humans are no longer safe to drink from. The artificial blood they drink is manufactured by both the human government and vampire government and sold at any vampire-run store. Any vampire store is marked by a red circle on the side of their entrance; this is a bland sign since humans might catch on if it were glamorous.
Vampires and Humans
Vampires and humans simply don't mix. There was a time when it was common to have a human lover in vampire society, back in the medieval times. However the vampire and human offspring were weaklings and didn't live very long. It became taboo for humans and vampires to create offspring or have romantic relationships.
Vampires no longer reveal themselves to humans. Shortly after humans and vampires being involved romantically became taboo the humans found out about vampire's feeding on them and started forming groups of vampire hunters. The vampire hunters proved deadly and soon vampires as a whole species were in danger. Since then humans have not been allowed to know about vampires.
The vampires have always been able to create human slaves. Many legends say that humans would be turned into vampires with a single bite. That was only half truth. Only a pure blood vampire can create more vampires with a bite. All other vampires create human slaves called drudges. Drudges have a telepathic link to their masters and are under a magical spell that forces them to obey any direct order given to them by their master. They can only be released from this slavery by death, or by a direct command to stop being a drudge and forget everything they know about vampires. Having more than four human drudges at any one time is illegal, and the vampire government will take care of killing off any extra and illegal drudges. The government has a habit of giving sadistic punishments such as killing your favorite drudge or killing all of them. There are no punishments set in stone, and the judicial vampires will deal with any crime however they see fit.

Vampire Appearances and Stereotypes
Vampires do not sparkle, do not burst into flame in sunlight, and are definitely not allergic to anything. Vampires are all attractive beings, and possess fangs and claws if they don't cut their nails often. They aren't affected by and religious items, or by garlic. Most vampires do not create new vampires when they bite, although they can enslave a human with one bite.

Types of Vampires
There are several different kinds of vampires, each with their own unique set of characteristics. They are described below.
Pure bloods
These are the original vampires and their descendants. They do not have a single drop of human blood in their veins. All pure bloods are considered royalty, and their entire families are considered royalty as well.
Powers:
• Elemental Powers - They have control over any and every element.
• Telekinetic Powers - They can move things with their mind.
• Personal Powers - each pure blood has their own unique powers that only they as an individual can do. e.g. The king of vampires, a pure blood, has the ability to spill his blood and manipulate his blood so that it becomes a separate entity that he can control telepathically.
• Mind Control - They can wipe memories clean and place new memories in the minds of lower class vampires. They can also force lower class vampires to obey them. • Creating Vampires - Pure bloods are the only vampires capable of being able to bite a human and change them into a vampire. Please note that these created vampires are "Exs" and are not normal vampires. Please look below for the section on Exs.
• Vampire Bite - All vampires have a bite that releases chemicals which make the victim feel no pain, and creates a feeling of ecstasy. Afterwards the person who was bitten might end up feeling intoxicated depending on their tolerance level towards the bite. The more powerful the vampire, the stronger the chemicals are.
• Super Abilities - They are faster, stronger, and live longer than any other vampire. They have the most keen senses of any vampire and can hear a penny drop a mile away if they want.
• Almost Immortal - Pure bloods will not die unless someone deliberately murders them. The only way to kill them is to completely drain their body of blood, and then to rip out and destroy their heart. Which is next to impossible since pure bloods are some of the most powerful creatures on Earth... *Note that they age the same way a human does until they reach their prime age which is somewhere between 16-25 years old and then completely stop aging.
* There are less than a hundred pure bloods left on the Earth, so they are very restricted.
Nobles
These are the descendants of pure bloods and their human lovers. Their ancestors did not include very many humans or lower class vampires. They are usually directly related to a pure blood or a pure blood's family. Most nobles are part of a royal family, and they are more wealthy and powerful then lower class vampires. They are at most only 20% human.
Powers:
• Elemental Powers - They might be able to control an element.
• Super Abilities - They are faster, and stronger than most vampires. They rival werewolves in strength and/or speed.
• Long Lives - Noble vampires live longer depending on how much vampire blood they possess. The less human lineage they have, the longer their life will be. Most Nobles can die of old age after around three thousand years. Their aging is extremely slow going, and a century seems to only show as two years on most of them once they've reached their prime. *Note that they age the same way a human does until they reach their prime age which is somewhere between 16-25 years old and then completely stop aging.
Lower Class Vampires
They are the equivalent of peasants, or your average vampire citizen. They could possibly be related to a royal family, but most of them aren't very closely related if at all. They have much more human blood in their veins then Nobles and pure bloods. Any vampire with more than 20% human blood is considered lower class. They make up your average, everyday, common vampire population. As a group the lower class outnumbers Nobles on a 15 to 1 basis, but they are a lot weaker than a noble or a pure blood.
Powers:
• Super Abilities - They are faster, and stronger than humans. They would have a very difficult time up against any other species besides a human though. Since there is such a large range of strengths and speeds among the lower class it really depends on the individual and their ancestry.
• Long Lives - Lower Class vampires live longer depending on how much vampire blood they possess. The less human lineage they have, the longer their life will be. Lower class vampires can die of old age after around a thousand years. Their aging is slow going, and a decade seems to only show as a year on most of them once they've reached their prime. *Note that they age the same way a human does until they reach their prime age which is somewhere between 16-25 years old and then completely stop aging.
Exs
These are humans that were bitten by a pure blood. Very few of them exist because there are very few pure bloods and Exs have been labeled the most dangerous creature to vampire existence. They are completely dependent on their creator, the pure blood who bit them. Only the blood of a pure blood can satisfy these vampires, and if they don't get it they go mad and go on rampages feasting on every human they see. They serve their creator unquestioningly, since becoming a vampire forms a strange bond between Exs and their creators. They are looked down on by all other vampires, and are often killed by Nobles. There are even fewer of them than pure bloods since pure bloods now consider it a taboo to make them. Their incredible thirst for blood makes them a danger to all humans and they tend to be unstable...
Powers:
• Super Abilities - They are faster, and stronger than humans. They would have a very difficult time up against any other species besides a human though.
• Long Lives - Exs live longer than humans and can die of old age after around 500 years. Their aging is unnoticeable and seems to have completely stopped. They look the same age as when they became an Ex for the rest of their lives.

Their Role in the Plot
The vampires are extremely loyal creatures. Their king has been captured by the SRA, and most citizens are urging the government to rescue him. It has been 14 years since the abduction of their king, and the vampire council who has been left in charge hasn’t made any moves to rescue the king. A small group of vampires started a rebel group of monsters who were unhappy with their governments and wanted to do something about the SRA themselves, called the MnM.

It is rare to have both. • Transformation - All werewolves are capable of transforming. Most werewolves transform into half man and half wolf creatures. The half wolf and half man transformation gives the werewolf a full coat of fur, a muzzle, wolf ears + tail and eyes, 2 to 7 inch claws, 1 to 9 inch fangs, and an extra foot of height with a sudden increase of girth thanks to a heavier muscle layout. The only other type of transformation for a werewolf is a full transformation. A full transformation turns them into a wolf with larger claws and fangs than usual, and they are up to three times larger than a normal wolf. It is very rare for a wolf to be able to do a full transformation, but it’s possible. • Werewolf Bites - A werewolf once they have transformed into their part or full wolf form has a very special mouth. Their saliva is acidic to help them digest prey, and the venom in their saliva can also turn humans into werewolves. When they are in their human form their saliva has healing affects that can disinfect and close wounds that are not deep. • Werewolf Claws - Werewolf claws have toxins on them when they transform. These toxins can melt through organic materials and leave a nasty burn. The toxins will also corrode many types of metals. • Long Lives - As far as their growth rate and life spans go, werewolves are on a different field than any other species. If they are born a werewolf they will grow at half the speed of a human baby. After that their growth slows even more, and they age one year for every three human years. After about thirty years werewolves become teenagers. Their aging slows down even more and they take another 70 human years to become an adult. After that they will have a final growth spurt within the next ten years and then completely stop aging. The life expectancy of werewolves isn't nearly as long as a vampire's even though werewolves would most likely have a similar life span under perfect conditions. Unfortunate for werewolves they do not live under perfect conditions, and because they are a rather violent species they tend to kill each other off for dominance before they reach a thousand years old. Very few werewolves ever reach a thousand years or more for age, and those that do were usually very high ranking wolves who fought their entire lives to stay alive at the top of the food chain. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Half-wolvesThese werewolves are the ones who were not born as werewolves. They usually develop a parent/child relationship with their creator. Half-wolves are the same as any other werewolf only there are a few things that make them different. • Half-wolves are never able to completely transform into a full wolf • All half-wolves are sterile, and can never have children. This is unfortunate because in werewolf society it is expected that every werewolf raise as many children as they can. Being sterile is a very bad thing in werewolf society. • None of them have talents, so they are not as fast or strong as normal werewolves. • They continue to age at a human speed. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Werewolf Government Globally werewolves are one of the most established supernatural species, and there are 13 werewolf "countries." The area of Liba is one of these werewolf "countries" and their government is one of the most complicated ones out there. High AlphaThe highest position a werewolf could ever be in, similar to the "king" of a human society. The high alpha is in charge of absolutely everyone and if he/she directs an order there is no refusing. There are no prerequisites for being the high alpha, although its common for the first born of the current high alpha to become the next high alpha. Anyone can challenge the high alpha, and they can battle it out in a fight to the death to see who can be the high alpha. The high alpha lives in the werewolf capital's castle, and makes decisions about war-time activities, and controls matters involving their land. The Werewolf WindsBetween the high alpha and the territory alphas are the "winds." These four "winds" are North, South, East, and West. They act as commanders of the military forces, and assistants to the high alpha. They act as the high alpha's personal intercom, and are like extensions of the high alpha's will. They act however they see fit under his authority, they are respected almost as much as the High alpha himself. To become a wind a werewolf must be chosen by the previous wind. Usually every wind has an apprentice (but only if they want to, it's not required). When a wind dies or retires they are replaced by their apprentice, if they do not have an apprentice the High alpha can choose the next wind. Council of WolvesThere are thirteen territories, and the thirteen territory alphas make up the Council of Wolves. A territory is as large as a town, city, or a large space of land werewolves live in. Territories alphas are in charge of these territories. There territories are numbered, from one to thirteen. The fist territory's alpha is the head of the council. The second territory, consists of the Liba City area. The second territory's alpha is the chairman of the council. They handle things such as fights between territories and things that have to do with their specific territory. They rank just below the High Alpha in status. ClansClans live inside territories, and there is no limit to how many clans can be in a territory as long as they all fit. The larger the territory, the more clans there will be in that territory. Clans are basically a group of packs that get along well. PacksPacks are the smallest group of wolves that exist. They can be as simple as a family group of werewolves, or be as large as 20+. Every pack has a pack alpha, which is similar to a family head. They make all the pack decisions such as money, food, sleeping arrangements, and everything between. Anyone can challenge the pack alpha for their position, usually in a fight to the death. Most of the time challenges within a pack happen when the pack is not a family group. Joining a pack is simple enough, you just have to ask the pack alpha and be accepted. Those who join a pack agree to follow the alpha and are not allowed to challenge the pack alpha for at least three years. Leaving the pack is easier, you just leave whenever you want. The only problem someone might run into is that they are not accepted by the pack, and be thrown out. LonersThese losers werewolves are the underdogs of werewolf society. They are generally looked down upon by all other werewolves, but they are tolerated. If they do happen to walk into an unfriendly clan territory they could be attacked, but most loners can figure out they aren't wanted. Werewolf LawsWerewolves only have three laws, but the punishments for breaking the laws are brutal. • NEVER reveal that werewolves exist to humans. If a werewolf falls in love with a human, they can tell that human but if that human tells any other human than everyone involved in the scandal (a.k.a. the human lover, the werewolf lover, and every human that the human lover told) will be killed. • If you bite a human and turn them into a half-wolf than they are your responsibility. Any action that half-wolf takes is considered an action of their creator. If a half-wolf goes rouge it is their creator's responsibility to kill them. • Obey your alpha. Everything the alpha says is law. If you don't like the alpha you have to live with it, challenge them, or simply leave. Werewolf MilitaryThe werewolf military is structured the same way as the territories, clans, and packs. The higher ranks are in charge of the smaller ranks, and they all work together to defend and offend. Territory alphas are like generals and keep order over their territory. From their the Clan leaders take care of their packs, and the packs take care of their own. The werewolf military could be compared to a militia, but over all they make sure to provide plenty of weapons to everyone so that no one is scavenging for a gun in the heat of battle. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Werewolves and HumansThe legends of the big bad wolf go back to when humans were just stumbling around in caves. Werewolves and humans have a long history. There has been quite a few cases of man eating wolves throughout time, but that isn't really something werewolves do anymore. At this point in time half of the werewolf population has been enslaved by the human government of Liba. Liba's government doesn't tell its citizens that they have enslaved werewolves, and are currently dealing with a civil war among the werewolves. On one side of the board are the enslaved werewolves called turics, which have all been brainwashed and/or experimented on in the cruel government labs of the SRA. The enslaved werewolves are the henchmen of the human government, and do as they are told, even if it means killing their kin. The free werewolves are on the other side. They have recently regained control of their government which had been unfairly overthrown and overrun by the humans and their turics. Now that they have control of their lands again they plan on fighting against the SRA to free their enslaved brothers. When it comes to romance between humans and werewolves there aren't too many difficulties. They can reproduce together to create normal werewolves, but generally their offspring are little bit weaker then werewolves who were born to both werewolf parents. If a werewolf were to bite their lover and change them into a werewolf they could never have children because the human would only be a half-wolf. Half-werewolves are less vulnerable than humans though so it might be done to protect them. Usually it is looked down upon to have a human lover, but it is not a taboo like for some species. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Types of Werewolves Free / RebelThese are the werewolves that have yet to be enslaved. Less than half the werewolf population is free, and they now control the werewolf capital and the werewolf communities that are on the outskirts of human communities. They are fighting against the SRA and the turics to rescue any turics or captured werewolves. Not long ago they had just been a handful of rebelling werewolf communities. They managed to win back their capital though, and now have won the support of many civilian werewolves by revealing the secrets of the Turic leader Zane. These free wolves answer to the high alpha Kellen Setos. TuricsThese werewolves work for the human government and Zane somewhat willingly. All turics were brainwashed into following the orders of Zane and the humans. Turics are like the henchmen of the SRA, they can do just about any job a test subject can do, but are safer to send on recruiting missions since they appear human. They only capture teens or older children they find on the streets at night. The other Test subjects are either kidnapped from hospitals or orphanages. CivilianThese werewolves usually live in communities of werewolves on the outskirts of the human communities. They sometimes live in small family groups in the big cities, sometimes a lone wolf will live in the city as well. They are mostly neutral towards this civil war going on between turics and rebels. Generally they will listen to the current most powerful wolf in any situation, so they can be swayed in any direction. They are not involved in any fighting, but are at risk of being taken by the SRA and becoming captives or turics. CaptiveThese werewolves were capture by the SRA. They are locked in cells on level 1 of the SRA. They are experimented on, and frequently used as the DNA donation bank for the group W test subjects. Their lives are no at all pleasant. They are often turned into turics to do the dirty work of the SRA. Check out this board to see where they live specifically in the SRA._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Werewolf Appearances and Stereotypes The stories about werewolves attacking humans are not usually true anymore, but less than 3000 years ago they were very true. Werewolves have become a much more civilized race in the past 3000 years, and can easily blend in with humans. Werewolves look just like humans in their human forms, and no normal person could tell the difference until the werewolf transformed. They can be differentiated by their scents though. Werewolves can be hurt by anything, but they are somewhat allergic to silver. If you wanted to cause a werewolf a very painful death you would use silver against them. Other things can also kill them, but silver is the most effective. Werewolves are not forced to transform by the full moon. They do get more powerful on the night of a full moon. No one knows why the moon affects the werewolves, but it does. On a new moon, when the moon is not visible, that is when a werewolf is the weakest, but that doesn't mean they will be easy pickings, they would still be stronger than any human could hope to be. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Their Role in the Plot Half of the werewolf population is the property of the SRA. They have been enslaved to be brain washed and turned into soldiers called turics, or experimented on. The turics are not opposed to this at all, because they are all brainwashed. The experiment werewolves are kept locked up in cages, and most aren't brainwashed; however most of them are at the point where they are losing their minds anyway. The other half of the werewolf population is living among the humans, and in their branch of the woods. They are led by the High Alpha Kellen Setos, and the four winds. The four winds are East, West, North, and South. Kellen had been High Alpha, but he was unfairly overthrown by the SRA's puppet leader Zane. Kellen Setos has just won back the werewolf capital, and taken back his place as high alpha. The SRA has many more soldiers then the werewolves do, so there is no way they could hope to fight a war with the SRA to save their brethren, especially when their brethren are fighting for the SRA. At this point they are in the same hostage situation as the Vampires and can't do anything to help their loved ones. The only hope for captured werewolves is that they are re-captured by the free werewolves and that the werewolves somehow find a way to get their minds back to normal. Things aren't looking so bright for the werewolves... |

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Demon TypesThere are generally only two main categories of demons. Demons that have a link to animals, called animons, and then demons that have more of a connection to humans, called tremons. They are an ancient species, but are now on the endangered list... AnimonsThese demons resemble beasts. Each individual animon has their own specific appearance. Most of them look just like a natrual animal you could find in nature, however there are some very noticeable differences. Animons have the body of an animal, but they are often up to 10 times larger than the normal animal they resemble. They come in bizarre colors and sometimes have strange markings. Their senses are also 10 times better then that of the animal they represent, and they all have specific powers of their own. Some might have a tie to an element, or have super abilities that no normal animal would have. Here are some specific examples of the most common types of animons! *Please note that it is perfectly fine to use Pokemon as a demon form, and to inherit the powers of that Pokemon. Its easier that way! Just think of animons as shape shifting, soul-devouring Pokemon!Snake animons - These monstrous snakes can grow to be 100 feet long or possibly more if they lived long enough. They can cross oceans simply by swimming in the depths of the blue waters. Their stomachs are capable of digesting absolutely anything they decide to consume. They inspired the tales of sea serpents swallowing sailors and their ships whole on the seven seas. They are creatures to be respected, but in modern times its hard for them to transform to their full size (they can actually control their size when they transform) because the environment around them is so jam packed they would cause quite a fuss. They are forced to remain in their human forms for the majority of the time. They are still very deadly however, since they have extremely poisonous venom. In human form they can grow out their canines and inject poison that would kill a human before they even dropped to the ground. They are also extremely strong considering most snake animons resemble constrictors and are capable of crushing the life out of anything they wish. Big Cat animons - They grow to be about the size of a mini van. They are about 9 times as strong as the average big cat, but their speeds can reach up to 212 mph. They are amazing specimens, and act like overgrown kittens most of the time. Many of them have a problem with controlling their transformation, and often accidentally end up looking like nekos (anthros) if they get too excited. They come in every color under the rainbow, but usually have no connection to elements. Fox Animons - These animons are odd in that they are the same size as a normal fox. They don't resemble a fox as closely as they could, but its what they look most closely related to. They have a strong tie to the elements and illusions. Usually a fox animon will be bound to one element, and will actually appear to have some connection to their element. e.g. this is a fire fox animonStandard Animon Powers•Immortality - The power to live forever, and to even reverse their aging depending on how many souls they consume. They die just as easily as any human would die, but their aging is extremely slow, and as long as they continue to eat souls they can live forever. • Mediumship - The power to see, communicate, touch, smell, feel, taste, and anything else to a ghost. They see the souls of the dead the same way they see the living, and it can be hard to tell them apart, but Demons have innate instincts that help them tell the difference. ALL DEMONS HAVE THIS POWER! • Elemental powers - Each demon has exactly one element they can control. This includes everything from fire, water, electricity, to more uncommon elements like plant life, darkness and shadows, air or metal. • Animal Form - Each animon has an animal-like form. They come in all sorts of sizes, shapes, and colors. Some animon will part-way transform if they get too excited. e.g. A big cat animon who gets excited might grow cat ears and a tail while in human form. TremonStandard Tremon Powers• Two forms - These demons do not transform into scary animals, instead they have two humanoid forms. Their true forms tend to be very odd when compared to humans. They have strange colored hair, and it is often times grown out much longer then most people's. Their true form's usually have pointed ears, like an elf, and they are attractive in their own strange way. They are usually very pale, and have tattoos of some sort. • Telekinesis - The power to move things with the mind. An interesting • Invisibility - The power to become complete see through, and invisible to the naked eye. They can be detected with infer-red however. • X-ray/Night vision - The power to see through solid matter, and to see in the dark. •Intangibility / phasing - The power to pass through solid matter without getting hurt. •Immortality - The power to live forever, and to even reverse their aging depending on how many souls they consume. They die just as easily as any human would die, but their aging is extremely slow, and as long as they continue to eat souls they can live forever. •Super strength - A demon's strength surpasses a human's strength by at least ten fold. •Levitation - The power to fly without wings or any means of propulsion. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Average Life of A Demon & Demon-Human RelationsDemon Families - The family life of a demon is usually a complicated thing. Most adult demons live on their own. Sometimes adult demons will live with their siblings. Demons take good care of their offspring. A juvenile demon ages at the same rate as a human until they reach the peak of their growth, after that they stop aging as long as they are eating properly. A demon is considered an adult after 16 to 22 years, and once they become adults their parents usually abandon them. It is unusual for demons to marry, usually they have an entire cast of mates and never get tied down. What Demons Eat - Demons eat the souls of the deceased. They only need a soul every few years to survive. If they eat more than that they can put off hunger for many years, and if they continue to eat souls their age will reverse. They can interact with souls the same way they interact with humans. Demons were once known for helping humans into their graves in order to devour their souls. They usually do no such thing in modern times because humans are a threat to them. Demon Government - There is no such thing. Demons are not a unified species. They do as they please and could care less about demons they have no emotional or blood ties to. This has been part of the reason for their downfall. Since demons could care less about each other, they have been an easy target for the SRA to take advantage of. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Demon SterotypesNone of those stories about possession and holy water are true. Demons aren't actually the evil creatures from hell that humans believe they are. Demons are normal creatures of nature, like the rest of us. The only difference is that demons do have one foot in the realm of the dead. They eat souls, similar to the way vampires drink blood. No one (alive anyway) knows what actually happens to the souls after they are eaten, but many demons believe the souls they consume simply go to the next world. Demons have no problem with religion. In fact, in the past female demons would even be able to become nuns. Of course, the second the church got the idea that a demon was in their midst they set out to kill them, whether they had committed any sins against God or not. Demons cannot possess a human, and most of those stories were about mentally ill people that the church blamed the devil for. Demons are not naturally evil, they just have mischievous instincts. Similar to the way cats like to play with their food, demons will create chaos around them simply for entertainment. Many of the things demons do is simply for entertainment, since their life gets rather dreary after all those years. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Their Role in the PlotDemons are simply victims of the SRA. Some of them have actually joined the SRA because it looked "fun." Others were captured and brainwashed into working for the SRA. Even more have been kidnapped and experimented on by the SRA. Demons simply live amongst the humans creating mischief wherever they go... |

TEST SUBJECTS The SRA rounds up humans so that they can create test subjects that will one day form an army to protect Liba. The humans taken by the SRA are ones that won't be missed, or whose absence can easily be explained. Usually their ages range from eight to twenty-five, simply because younger people are easier to change. They are split into five categories, which each have their own variations.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
THE TEST SUBJECT GROUPS
•GROUP A
Group A is comprised of test subjects who were combined with animal DNA. They were the first type of subjects to roll out of the operating room when the SRA first started. These test subjects often have some of the strangest looks. Their animal DNA has given them animal adaptions, such as stronger senses or extra appendages depending on what sort of animal they were combined with. The SRA has managed to be able to scrape together per-historic DNA and turn test subjects of the A group into combinations of dinosaurs or animals like mammoths. Test subjects usually have similar appearances to the animal they were combined with, and their abilities are similar. For example, a Group A test subject with the DNA of an African Grey Parrot would have larger lungs and heart, thin hollow bones, stronger muscles, bird wings, and modified vocal chords capable of achieving perfect mimicry of any sound or voice. Another example might be a test subject with tiger DNA getting stripes on their skin, among other more detailed body modifications.
•GROUP D
These test subjects were combined with DNA from demons. Some of them have picked up bad behavior, and negative, sometimes self-destructive traits in their personalities from being fused with demons. Because there are multiple types of demon these test subjects are complicated. There are two types, Group D test subjects fused with Animons, or fused with Tremons.
Test subjects combined with Animons.
DOG - When test subjects are fused with dog Animon DNA they grow in height at least 6 inches. They grow sharp canines like that of a dog, and their saliva becomes toxic. The only ones who can't be poisoned by their poisonous saliva is other dog animon test subjects from group D or actual dog animons. They have inhuman strength, and they have been known to be possessive over their "toys". They have heightened senses, and often times dog like instincts.
FOX - Test subjects fused with fox Animon DNA grow a fox tail and sometimes also fox ears, but they usually shrink at least three inches in height. They have heightened sense, and have telekinetic powers. They are also able to create illusions with their minds.
COUGAR & JAGUAR - Jaguar and Cougar (the big cats for short) test subjects are among the fastest. They have incredible flexibility, and can easily squeeze into tight places. Their collar bones are made of flexible material that allows them to go anywhere their heads can fit. They sometimes have the ability to control whether they have human ears, or cat ears and they can control whether or not their tail shows. Their sense is all heightened, and are strongly affected by cat nip... They actually have the same smell as a demon, which is extremely intoxicating to humans. However one side-affect is that they have cat-like instincts which sometimes make them a bit sadistic to their prey. They have wonderful senses of balance and are great climbers.
SNAKE - These test subjects are more flexible than humans, have excellent night vision, and don't require nearly as much food as an average human. They have an extremely poisonous bite, and a longer tongue then average. They also have fangs, and snake-like reflexes. Their stomachs are capable of digesting anything. Snakes Animon Test subjects are extremely strong.
Test subjects combined with Tremons.
Usually they have very strange hair colors. Also they have pointed ears, and their hair grows fast. Their powers include telekinetic powers, changing eye colors to any color, floating without wings, and they can turn translucent (almost see-through). They cannot turn completely invisible. They have a small amount of control over one element. Their elemental powers are never as strong as a real demon's, but its still useful to some of them.
•GROUP H
These test subjects are simply modified humans. They have had any mutations and defects in their DNA removed. They have become super strong, fast, flexible, well-balanced, as well as healthy. They also acquire better reflexes and stamina. They have all the great features of being human, 10 times better. They are the only kind of test subject capable of going through a second set of experiments to gain more power from a different group. Since they are still only human, they can be fused with other species still. But since they have such dominant DNA the second fusion may not work well... The other species traits only add on to their current ones, it doesn't erase them.
•GROUP V
The "V" stands for Vampire. These Test Subjects have either stopped aging, or started to age very slowly. They have fangs, and long, sharp finger nails. They are extremely fast, and extremely strong. They have a sense of smell just as sharp as a vampire's, their hearing is that good as well. Their eyes flash red occasionally. They sometimes thirst for blood, depending on the individual person, but they eat a lot. Their fangs have the same chemical that makes the bite very pleasant for those who are bitten by these test subjects. They don't turn other people into vampires, and they don't heal any faster than a normal human.
•GROUP W
These test subjects were combined with werewolves but age normally. They are either extremely fast or strong. They all have claws that secrete a toxin that can easily kill, and also melt through organic materials. They have extremely good noses and ears. A few of them have a wolf tail and tail, not very many, but a few.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
•The Life of a Test Subject
Test subjects that live in the SRA are either Loyal or Unloyal. Loyal test subjects follow orders, complete any missions given to them, and don't bother trying to escape. Most loyal test subjects were either successfully brainwashed, understand that they are serving their country, or have simply been beaten into submission by the guards. Unloyal test subjects are the more closely watched test subjects, they aren't allowed as many freedoms as their loyal peers, and are often caught trying to escape. Every test subject realizes it is extremely difficult to escape the SRA, the underground facility is guarded by werewolves. If they are even caught on the level closest to the surface without good reason they could be severely punished. In the past, disloyal test subjects have worked together to all escape at once however.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
•Escaped Test Subjects
Test subjects who escape the SRA find themselves miles from the city they were all born in. Outside the SRA is all unoccupied woodlands and wilderness. However, werewolf rebels are usually on the prowl just outside the SRAs borders hoping to find and recruit any escapees into the rebel moment that hopes to free all test subjects from the SRA. Test subjects who escapee will never be able to lead normal lives, and will most likely be recruited by the rebels, re-captured and severely punished by the SRA, or die in the woods...
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
•Test Subject Jobs
CHILDREN - They attend the SRA's school system and learn just as well as they would at a normal school, if not more. They also attend classes that teach them how to fight, and survive in the wilderness. They are given free time after school and training to go where they wish. They aren't very closely monitored because usually the children are pretty obedient. If children get caught doing what they aren't supposed to, they could get anything from a beating to a scolding from the guard that catches them, and escorted to where they need to be. All of them have their own personal cell, or sometimes they share a cell with a roommate.
TEENAGERS - The teenagers are supposed to attend the high school classes provided at the school for them. They aren't required to though, as long as they are training. With the small amount of things to do in the SRA most teenagers do attend classes. If any of them wish to get out of the front lines, they will take medical classes and train to be nurses or doctors. There are also internships provided for those who enter into the medical training.
SQUAD CAPTAINS - After a test subject turns sixteen they can take the squad captain qualification exam. If they pass, they will be placed in charge of a squad and complete any missions they are sent on. Usually, they lead a group of one to five test subjects on missions to capture humans in the city for new recruits, fight off rebels, and capture monsters for experimentation. Squad Captains are in charge of training their squad, and keeping them in shape and order.
CADETS - These test subjects have completed most of their training, and are usually assigned to squads and led on missions by their Squad Captain. They follow all orders given to them by their Squad Captains and attend their Squad Captains training sessions. They are supposed to follow all the orders their Squad Captains give them, if they don't the Squad Captain can decide their punishment. A test subject can become a cadet after eighteen months of basic training.
INTERROGATORS - These test subjects are selected for interrogator training the moment they are deemed stable after becoming a test subject. It takes at least two years for them to complete their training. When Interrogators are trained, it is very specific and harsh training. They are first taught how to keep the secrets they learn through their interrogations, by being given secrets and being told to keep the secret while having a trained interrogator try to torture it out of them. Once they learn how to handle all the tortures they could possibly go through, and still keep their secrets, they are taught how to interrogate. How to tell if a person is lying to them from when a person is telling the truth, and how to get into people's heads to get all the information they can. By any means necessary... Until they are finished being trained they are kept in isolation, from everyone but the werewolves who are in charge of the interrogation program. They are given bracelets that they cannot remove that track them, and act like messengers in that they can deliver orders to return to the interrogation area for a job.
TRAINER - These test subjects are instructors for training the newbies, children, and teenagers. When a test subject enters the SRA and goes to the training rooms, they will be taught by one of the instructors. The instructors teach everything from martial arts, to how to handle weapons, strategy planning, and how to use the specific powers each type of Test subject has acquired. To become a trainer, a test subject must have completed four years of apprenticeship and training in the area they would like to instruct in, or be able to pass the exams that grant them a license for training in whatever they would like to instruct in.
TEACHER - They teach classes in the school system. They are usually older test subjects, and have to have a teaching license. Test subjects could become one if they finish the high school classes and decide to continue to use the school system the SRA provides to take college classes and qualify to be a teacher. There are also assistant teacher positions open, and apprenticeships and such things.
GUARD - This job has the same requirements of a cadet. Only, instead of going on missions, they guard the halls and cooperate with the werewolf guards. If a guard catches a misbehaving test subject, they are supposed to beat them and escort them back to their cells. Not very many test subjects chose to take this job.
NURSE - If a test subject wants to, they can take medical classes and earn a qualification to be a nurse. Nurses are like the assistants for the doctors of the SRA. They work in the infirmary, taking care of anyone with a boo-boo and anyone recovering from surgery or experimentation. They also take samples from the captured monsters in the SRA for the doctors to do their experiments with. After becoming a nurse, a test subject can become an apprentice and do an internship to learn to be a doctor.
DOCTOR - Most doctors are actually human, but some of them are test subjects who have gone through becoming a nurse, and then did the extra work to become a doctor. Or maybe they were already a human doctor, and decided to experiment on themselves and became a test subject themselves. They are in charge of doing all the dangerous experiments and surgeries that turn the humans rounded up by the SRA into test subjects for their growing army.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
• Their Role in the Plot
Test subjects are the victims of war. The government has rounded up these people from the city, and turned them into biological weapons. They are the soldiers that serve the SRA, and will one day protect Liba in the up-coming war. Some of them are brain-washed into serving the SRA, some of them serve the SRA out of a sense of duty, and many serve because they fear the consequences of disobedience. The test subjects who escape usually join the forces of the free werewolves, or the MnM.

The world has been split into many small countries scattered across the land. Each of them is very different, but all similar in that they are separated by huge reserves of land dedicated to nature. It wasn't until recently, in the past 20 years, that the peace was broken among the humans. Over-population in many of the small countries has led to full scale war between them. It seems like the entire world is fighting, except for one small country on the East coast of North America named Liba. The last peaceful country, with no interest in expanding their borders, has decided to take up any means necessary to protect itself. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Government of LibaThe government of Liba is a so-called democracy. Actually, the parliament is voted in by the people, and then the parliament votes for the president. Presidency has no term limits, so a president will be in office until he or she steps down, or dies. Their constitution is nothing like the constitution of what used to be the United States. Citizens do not have the freedom of press, the right to bear arms, citizens are not protected from cruel or unusual punishment, and no Habeas Corpus. Thus, Liba's government is very controlling, and some might say is prone to corruption. So far Liba has been in great shape, up until 14 years ago when a missile landed dangerously close to the capital city's borders. Since then the current president, Miss.Cabbot, has been preparing the country for war. Most citizens have no idea what is going on, and lead somewhat carefree lives unless they are mixed up in the wrong stuff. The government controls all the media, so there is no way anything could leak through the television set. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Scarlet Rose AcademyThe Scarlet Rose Academy commonly referred to as the SRA or the Rose, is a branch of the Liban government. The SRA has employed workers of almost every species, human, demon, werewolf, and they are the creators of test subjects. They only have one vampire inside their walls, the king of all vampires, Kyo Kiri. They capture some monsters for DNA samples and experiments, while others are brainwashed into soldiers called Turics that only serve the SRA. Some of the monsters (usually demons) come to the SRA on their own. The Scarlet Rose Academy was created 14 years ago in order to create Liba's defense. The country of Liba previously had very poor military, since they liked to keep their citizens in the dark about war and such things and only did private recruiting. Almost every non-human person in the SRA was kidnapped and taken there. The Scarlet Rose Academy was once a place full of death, pain and suffering. None of those things have vanished, but in the last 3 years the SRA has attempted to make the SRA more pleasant for the people who live there. Those who misbehave still ended up getting beaten and tortured by the Turics, and if their bad behavior continues they usually end up brainwashed into obedience. Since the SRA contains child soldiers they provide an education system, with certain curriculum required while others are not. All test subjects are required to have basic military training. Others go beyond that to become Special Ops, while others chose to grab hold of the medical field and become medics. The test subjects are often sent out to grab more "recruits" from the streets. The SRA orchestrates all sorts of kidnappings, taking anyone who won't be missed much. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Life of a Citizen of LibaFor a human living in Liba, life is nice. The technology is slightly more advanced than how it was in the 21st century, but the biological engineering is astounding. Thanks to recent discoveries by the government's science department many cures for diseases which were previously incurable have been discovered. Their robotics leaves much to be desired, but they have managed to make some pretty cool gadgets for practical and not-so-practical uses. Humans in the country of Liba lead similar lives to those lived by Americans in the 21st century. The technological advances haven't changed very much, except for better health care anyways. Liba City, the capital of Liba, is quite large. It's architecture ranges from large skyscrapers, all the way down to one story buildings, and back to buildings which look like amazing works of art. The population of Liba is approximately five million. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Government of DivinityThe country of Divinity is an Absolute Monarchy. The current king, Zeus Divinity, has a parliament simply because he has no interest in anything other than the military. He has handed over the reins to the parliament, but is waging full scale war with his military. Zeus is considered a Deity by his people, probably because he has been in power for over a millennium and is still youthful. The truth is that their beloved king is a demon. The same demon who had been pretending to be a deity since ancient times... A human country being controlled by a demon has turned out to be a scary thing... Divinity MilitaryThe military of Divinity is mostly human and bioroid. Human males are drafted into the military at the age of 18, and have been for the past five years. Female humans may join the military if they wish to. Bioroid soldiers are created specifically to be placed in the military. The supreme military leader is the King, Zeus Divinity. There are other "gods" among the military, all actually demons from ancient times like Zeus. Zeus however is the strongest demon in existence (or so claims to be) and his power is not questioned by anyone in Divinity. *read about bioroids in "The Life of a Citizen in Divinity". _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ The Life of a Citizen in DivinityDivinity is very technologically advanced. They have robots to do basically every job, so humans have lots of leisure time here. They are closely monitored by the government however. They are marked by the necklaces that are more like collars they are forced to wear around their necks called ribbons. The ribbons are their life line in their own country. Since basically everything is automated the ribbon is required to do pretty much anything. Ribbons are further described here. In Divinity all males at the age of 18 can be drafted into the military, and that has happened frequently. Divinity is already locked in a war, which they are winning, with a nearby country. The citizens follow their leader, the king, like brainwashed lunatics. That's because they are. Every citizen of Divinity is a cyborg, receiving brain implants the day they are born. Not only are they strictly monitored, but they are brainwashed! Humans are not the only ones to live in Divinity however; they live surrounded by government created bioroids. These bioroids are genetically engineering humans that are superior to humans in overall biology and look like normal humans, but behave much more politely, and have emotional handicaps that prevent them from having "dangerous" emotions. Bioroids have higher intelligence, so they hold many high positions in the government. The humans in Divinity are used to depending on bioroids, which are basically the military issued nannies for every family. Even orphans will be raised by these bioroids. *Please note that bioroids are still humans, despite their minor alterations, but most of them are either house nannies, soldiers, workers among the machines or government officials. They have no parents since they are created in test tubes and mature all the way to adulthood in a test tube. They are essentially born at the age of 18. Life in Divinity is luxurious for humans, but costly. They lack many freedoms there, and they are a country plunged into war. The war has cost the lives of thousands of Divinity citizens. However, they have gained more land and will be more prosperous as soon as they finish expanding, which means taking over Liba. In Divinity citizens most honor, respect, and are told to spend their entire lives simply serving the gods, especially Zeus. They have no idea that their "gods" are really just demons, and they even offer up their living souls to their gods when asked to do so. Divinity is possibly the best place for a demon to live on Earth at this time. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Their Role in the PlotHumans are the very center piece of the plot. In Liba they are the ones capturing and taking advantage of the monsters who have taken refuge there, but only because it was necessary to defend all of Liba, including the monsters. In Divinity humans are being greedy as usual, and trying to steal land from their neighboring countries. The country of Divinity is willing to kill everyone inside the borders of another country simply to take control. If Divinity wins the coming war, the majority of the eastern side of the north American continent will belong to a power hungry demon. If Liba wins the land of Divinity will become their prize, the citizens of Divinity will be granted new freedoms, and the citizens of Liba will no longer be in danger, but Liba's victory will have to be at the cost of people dragged unwillingly into the fight... Divinity or Liba? Superficial or Supernatural? The fate of these two countries depends on the decisions of the humans, and their captives... |
