Jared gave a sigh as he pushed the door of his room open and went out, it had been a week since he arrived in Scarlet Rose Academy, and he had to admit that this wasn’t really what he was expecting…the man that hired him had told him that he would be dealing with a lot of non-humans though there were human staff at least Jared hoped that there were and he would be making sure that no one knew about Scarlet Rose Academy from the outsider’s point of view as well as making sure that nothing happens to the academy and so Jared had taken it in as he didn’t know that there was an academy for these kinds of people. However the first week he got here had been pretty hectic as he had seen several non-human students and they weren’t so friendly to him since he must’ve looked like a guard and he was now out here going to have a walk to clear his head since staying inside his room for too long didn’t sit well with him, ”Maybe I look too scary?” Jared said to himself as he walked towards the movie room hoping that he could watch a movie either by himself or perhaps with one of the staff since he hasn’t made a friend yet either so that would have to be fixed pretty soon.

Danny was close to skipping as he went off towards the movie chambers. Oh, he was so excited! He had finally gotten a chance to go watch Pirates of the Caribbean! Poor Danny hadn't seen the movie yet even though it contained his favorite things. Action, pirates, and Johnny Depp! The doctor was about ready to faint, his poor human heart was too excited from all this. Yes, he was being a drama queen but that was just how Danny behaved.
The man was on his way there when he noticed another man with long hair. Danny got a big grin on his face, and sped up to catch up with the guy. You could say that Dr.Thompson was like a puppy. Overly-friendly, and willing to follow strangers around the block without a second thought. "Hey wait up!" Called out Danny with a huge grin on his face. He made sure to get at least to where he could walk besides the other man who looked a little like a guard.
"Hello, I'm Dr.Thompson! Are you going to go see a movie?" The pink haired man really looked like a woman, but his voice was deep enough to tell that he was a male. He was also very tall, and most women never reached six'five''. He was a tall fellow, but his big grin and girly appearance really made him seem like a friendly guy. His hair was sloppily pulled into some arrangement where the front was pulled to the back of his head but there were loose hairs that seemed to be loopy-like bangs. His lab coat was still on his bodice, and it seemed like he had just come here from his lab. Which he had. This was his little break, he didn't have to do anything else for at least four hours.

Jared was walking down towards the movie room when he heard a man’s voice as he turned around, he hadn’t seen the man before but from the personnel file he gotten when he arrived here he knew the man was Dr Daniel Thompson, a scientist working for Scarlet Rose which didn’t really bother Jared at all since he was used to scientists but to see one here was something different and the fact that Dr Thompson acted like a puppy and looked like a girl made it hard to believe that this guy was a scientist. In fact if it wasn’t for the personnel file then Jared would have assumed that the guy was a girl but thankfully he knew better as he nodded and smiled at the doctor, ”Hello I am going to the movie, you’re Dr Thompson aren’t you? I’m Jared McKenzie, I’m the new security guard for Scarlet Rose Academy…it’s nice to meet you” Jared said as he continued to walk towards the movie room.

Danny was happy to get a friendly response from the person he approached. Sometimes people didn't respond kindly to his flamboyant personality. Danny was excited once he heard that this was a new guy! That made Danny feel special because he was going and being nice to a new person. Actually, Dr.Thompson was a new addition to the SRA as well, not brand-spanking new, but new enough. He had found himself lost a lot since he got here, but he was starting to get a hang of things around here.
Danny smiled, "Yep that's me! Nice to meet you Jared, that's a lovely name by the way." Danny winked at the man, and then burst out with giggles. He gained control of himself with a deep breath, and continued, "I was on my way to the movies too and I saw you. Then I thought to myself, why not invite that guy? And so here I am, wanna see a movie with me?" Danny grinned, he seemed to be quite comfortable with strangers. Daniel had always been a show off with high-self esteem. His confidence had gotten him this far, which was quite an accomplishment. It was tough cookies getting to be a doctor in this facility.

Jared had to admit that the doctor was happy, too happy, he sounded almost insane if he didn't read that this was just how the doctor decided to spend his personality...but Jared had to admit that the doctor's happiness was starting to creep him out, in fact he wasn't even sure if the doctor dressed this flamboyantly for personality's sake or for appearance's sake. But Jared would be prejudicing if he said it out loud so he decided to roll with the ball for now and see for himself if the doctor was sane, "T-thank you doctor" Jared said now getting a bit nervous as the doctor had winked at him...was the doctor gay? Was that it? If so then he's in a whole mess of trouble since he had no idea how to deal with gays so he really hoped that the doctor was straight as him...or at least not as gay as Jared is thinking, "it would be nice to watch a movie...I haven't had a day off yet since I've been busy adjusting to life in the academy so it is good to have some time to myself, I wouldn't mind watching it with you" Jared said politely.

Danny found the guards nervousness sort of cute. Really, Danny wouldn't hurt a fly. Well maybe he would actually. They always buzzed and made such annoying sounds, yes he would definitely swat those. It was just an expression though, so killing flies was beside the point. The pink haired doctor nodded his head when the guard thanked him. Danny started to grin again when he heard the guard agree to go watch a movie with him. This would certainly be fun, after all it was the more the merrier right?
"The more the merrier!" chimed the doctor happily. He tapped his chin wondering if he should have invited that she-wolf test subject who seemed obsessed with him and always saying he looked similar to her angel. No, that probably would have been a bad idea. Danny liked that girl, but she was sooo... violent? Yes, that was the word. The girl was violent and Danny had the feeling that an action movie would send the test subject on some sort of rampage. "That reminds me!" Danny said, slamming his fist on the open palm of his other hand. It seemed to be like he was hitting some imaginary buzzer. Danny looked at the guard with a smile on his face, "You don't mind seeing the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie with me do you? I've just been dying to see it. I saw those previews with Jack Sparrow and Angelica. Angelica was just gorgeous don't you think?"
Danny was about to go on one of his rants where he goes off on a rampage of words about how he adores certain movie characters and such but got control of himself just in time. His cheeks flushed, "Sorry, I get carried away too easily." He bit his lip and looked away to hide his poor pink face. Danny could really act like a women sometimes. It was a good thing he had stopped talking about the previews before he got to the part about Jack Sparrow. Danny happened to be the kind that swung both ways, and gender was of no importance to him at all. He wasn't going to go around yelling from the roof about his sexuality, but he did no effort to hide it either. It often confused people who didn't know about it.

Jared had to admit that the people in this academy were completely different from what he was expecting, Dr Thompson was a prime example of this, he thought that because he was a scientist that the man would be serious and talking in a lot of technical names that wouldn't make any sense to Jared but at least it would be better then the man right beside him who was generally happy and joyful for a scientist...but then again every scientist was different so perhaps this man could be serious when he wanted to be and right now he was just being a happy person in general as Jared walked towards the movie room.
Jared looked at the man and shook his head, he actually did wanted to watch the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie since he hadn't had time to watch it because he had been busy with his job as a security guard in the academy and he was looking forward to watching it, "Yes I have actually been looking forward to watching that movie but I haven't been able to find the time to do so but yes I do agree that Johnny Depp is quite a character and I wouldn't mind having Angelina Jolie as a wife" he said jokingly as Jared shook his head, "no don't apologize, I just haven't seen a scientist with personalities such as yours" he admitted.

Danny was so very glad to hear that his new pal was okay with watching a movie about pirates. It was even better to have someone agree with him about the characters. Danny wanted to point out that the Angelica in the movie was not Angelina Jolie, but Penelope Cruz. Angelina Jolie was quite the beauty, Danny could totally agree. He wouldn't be so quick to marry her though. After all Danny felt too young to be tied down, but from the looks of things the guard was older than him. Danny was still a young man, only twenty-three, and fresh out of medical school. Fresh out of the top of his class in medical school, but still just a green horn as far as actual job experience goes. Of course he had worked in hospitals before, internship was one of the best ways to learn after all. Jared was surely only joking about marrying the actress though, so it wasn't a serious topic to think about.
Danny looked at Jared and smiled once he heard that it was okay that Danny was a bit different. Danny placed his hand against his cheek and smiled, "I guess I am rather odd for a doctor." Danny went off into la-la land while thinking about that somehow, but kept pace with the guard. It was rather easy keeping pace when you were as tall as Danny. He was actually thinking about rather serious things as he grew quiet. He had a smile on his face, but of course he was when he was re-visiting happy memories. They were tainted by the fact that he wouldn't be able to make those kinds of happy memories anymore, but he was still glad to have them. He tended to get lost in those kinds of thoughts often.
Danny blinked when he saw the entrance. "Oh we're here!" chimed the doctor. He took the initiative to hold the door open for Jared, since Danny was simply the polite type to do such a thing. Danny would follow Jared in afterwards. "Buddies first!" The room they were about to enter was sort of the lounge of the movie chambers. The popcorn machine would be releasing intoxicating fumes of mother-watering buttery scent. The soda fountain would be accompanied by lots of cups and straws. And last but not least the movie collection would be looking as impressive as ever, listed in alphabetical order but separated by categories. Danny had been here only once before, but already it was one of his favorite places around here.
