Just Another Wedding (Miyuki, open)

In the pure white and clean-looking bathroom Leon was standing in-front of the sinks washing his hands. He felt that his hands needed washed after punching a man in the gut who had accidentally bumped into Miyuki. Today he was attending the reception party of the wedding as Miyuki's butler/servant/bodyguard just like he would on any other day. It was rare for him to be separated from her since he would always make sure to follow her - it was his job after all. He felt as if he was abandoning his job by taking time to selfishly wash his hands in the men's bathroom since he wouldn't be able to watch over Miyuki... but knowing that he had the filth of the man who had bumped into Miyuki on his hands from punching him was annoying him. Thankfully though they were in a crowded area and he was able to punch the man in the gut without even realizing who did it. "Oh no... this man collapsed, somebody help him." he had said in a very bored tone after punching the man. It wasn't convincing at all but it worked seeing as how some paramedics that were on standby had gone to help.

Just as he finished washing his hands and put his black skinny butler gloves back on another man walked into the restroom. The man must have been very drunk since he was stumbling around and couldn't walk in a straight line at all. Leon looked over to him and said "Do you really think it's appropriate to be so intoxicated around the large amount of youth outside?" he had learned how to talk with manners from serving the Kiri family for a couple hundred of years.

The man responded with "H-hah... how about ya' go'an get me a drink bartender?" he called Leon a bartender because of his outfit. He figured he'd wear his bartender outfit instead of the usual butler one since you were supposed to be in a Halloween costume of sorts for the wedding. He looked like one very classy bartender.

"Do try not to drown in the lavatory." he said as he began to walk to the exit of the bathroom. That was when the men placed his hand on Leon's shoulder as if to get him to stop. Within a second of the hand touching his shoulder though he turned around and punched the man in the gut - knocking him out. "Now I have to wash my hands again... Sorry, but I'll be a little longer, Master." he said out-loud despite knowing that nobody including Miyuki would hear him.

When he finally finished washing his hands for the second time he stepped outside of the bathroom and walked over to the buffet table where Miyuki was supposed to be waiting for him. He wasn't surprised though to learn that she wasn't there. He checked the whole line of people who were in-front of the table and she wasn't anywhere to be found. He pondered whether or not he could have gone to the wrong table... but he doubted that. He wasn't dumb enough to get something like that wrong. The tables did all look the same though...

He started walking around in a hurry all over the place as he looked for Miyuki. He bumped into a countless number of people while searching. If any of those people had been the ones to bump into him then he would have dealt with them, but it was alright as long as he was the one bumping into people. Then he felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked around and saw a fist flying straight towards his face. He retaliated instantly and head-butted the attacker while dodging the punch. The attacker had been the same man from the bathroom earlier. It would have appeared as if Leon's punch had been able to make the man sober enough to walk in a straight line. He was surprised that the man was already awake though... he must not have hit him hard enough the first time.

The man who was just head-butted fell backwards into a security guard... not good. The reason why Leon had punched the man who bumped into Miyuki and this man in the gut the first time was because the bruises wouldn't be visible if they kept their clothes on. A head-butt to the face would leave a very visible mark though. The man on the ground was passed out with his nose broken and bloody. The security guard turned around and looked at what happened and of course Leon looked extremely suspicious since some of the blood managed to get on his hair. "I'm going to have to wash up again now..." he said in the same bored tone as he began running away from the security guard since he knew that he'd probably be kicked out from the reception party had the guard managed to catch him.

Unfortunately now though all the guards would probably be on the lookout for a blonde man in a bartender's outfit. He didn't care much though... if anything were to happen he'd easily be able to deal with anybody trying to restrain him or he could easily escape. He still had to find Miyuki though.

[Miyuki Kiri]

Miyuki entered the party with grace. She wore small high heels adding just a small amount to her shortness. She always hated being short, it made her feel like she was a child and would be lost in the crowd. She looked around at the humans surrounding her now. So many of them. They had no the slightest idea that there was now predators among them. She could choose any victim here and simply dig her fangs into their throat and be done with them. Of course no vampire had done that legally for quite some time. She had never fed off a human and she had only ever heard stories about it. She was raised off the fake blood that the humans had invented for the vampires.

There was peace amongst the humans despite a few drunk jerks who tried their hardest to disturb that. She simply walked amongst the crowd doing her best not to bump into people. She wasn't sure what she was going to do yet. She was awfully bored, everyone was simply dancing and having a good time. It was when some random bumped into her that things got interesting. Her butler punched the guy in the gut and then excused himself to go wash is hands. Miyuki thought that it was awfully funny. She found herself wandering away from the spot she was supposed to. Miyuki couldn't just stand there and be bored after all! With a big grin she ran off to do her own thing. No supervision for this vampire teenager...

She wandered through the crowd with her hair pulled back into a ponytail and a sparkly green dress that wasn't exactly modest. She was supposed to be Tinkerbell. Her wings were a little annoying to her but she loved the little Peter Pan fairy. She wasn't blond but her hair was fashioned into the same hairstyle as the little fairy's. The resemblance would be obvious.

In the crowd there were tons of strange characters. She could see a Captain Jack Sparrow, Mrs.Claus, Cleopatra, and just about everyone else here. Miyuki found it all delightful the way they dressed funny. It just wasn't enough though. Miyuki was ready for some sugar. Some sugary sweet goodness. Enough sugar to make her spazz out for two hours straight and then crash completely. That was the plan for Halloween! She picked her way through the crowd finding that the more she moved the less she remembered where she came from. There was no going back to the meeting spot now...

After a bit of just meandering around looking for her chocolates and sugar plums she heard a bit of commotion. A few people were making some noise and she saw a security guard come and drag a passed out man passed her. It was a bit surprising to see that and she wondered who in the world got in a fight during the party and did that... Her butler happened to be rinsing his hands after kicking someone's butt, so he couldn't have done it. Miyuki was sure it had to be some weird psychopath on a punching spree. Now it was her job to hunt him down and tell him next time he has a fight he should wait for her to show up and watch!

The female finally found herself surrounded by food. Or actually, faced with an extremely large table filled with an insane assortment of sugary snacks. Immediately she was all in. In the following five minutes she managed to eat 15 cookies, a cupcake and she chugged a glass of the punch which she had accidentally taken the spiked kind... She had liked that... She managed to down one more glasses of the spiked punch.

Miyuki was now walking around with a sugar high and was a bit "tipsy". She had this huge stupid grin on her face and she wasn't exactly all there... She thought she saw Leon and waved at him. Looking around she thought she could hear a band somewhere. This wedding was pretty huge, the royal family sure knew how to throw these parties. Miyuki was a noble from the current royal family of the vampires. She had even stayed with her uncle the king at one time. She knew all about being so called "special" and "important". She knew that that gig totally sucked! Thanks to some not so helpful family she got to be a normal vampire, or well an outcast from vampire society wasn't exactly normal... The point was that she was allowed to do whatever the hell she wanted to do now. Miyuki was now singing something that sounded like "My First Kiss", but it wasn't exactly coming out right due to the punch... Usually she was a pretty talented musician but not tonight...

Leon was back in the bathroom again - cleaning up the blood that had gotten onto the tips of his hair. He kinda felt like a criminal on the run. The blood wasn't too hard to clean out but then he figured he should probably do something to make himself look different so that the security wouldn't spot him so easily. There wasn't much for him to do though... He took a cough-drop bag out of his left pocket and then took three cough-drops out of it and put them all in his mouth. Then he got an idea. He messed with his already-shaggy hair a bit to make it look different. After a minute of messing with his hair it was now.... just as before by instead of being shaggy and going to the right it was shaggy to the left. "Good enough."

He stepped out of the bathroom and looked around to see if there were any security guards... none within eye's sight. Now he could continue his hunt search for his master. She just had to leave the spot where she was supposed to wait... After a couple of minutes of searching he found her. He ran up to her and placed his hand on the girl's shoulder with a scary look in his eyes that screamed "Your in trouble~". He turned the girl around to face him and it ended up being some random human girl who didn't look older than 16. They were wearing that same fairy-thing costume though... The girl looked up at Leon and started tearing up and looked as if she was going to scream. He didn't feel bad for scaring the wrong girl like that, instead he just felt annoyed. "Ergh.... Wrong person." he said as he took his hand off of the girl's shoulder and began walking away. After a couple of feet though he began to pick up his pace since he could hear the girl begin to cry. If she reported him the security would think he's some kind of violent pedophile... He really didn't want them to think that.

And so his search for his master continued. It had been around thirty minutes since he left her. If her uncle knew that he had lost sight of her for so long then he thought he'd probably get in trouble. Then he found the snack table... He really hoped that she didn't find it too. He also noticed some punch next to it which clearly had a sticker saying "alcoholic" in-front of it. "I need to have some more faith in the Young Master..." he said as if trying to convince himself that she surely wouldn't have indulged in either the sugary sweets or the punch. The reason behind him calling her the "Young Master" was because she was the niece of his previous master. He also recalled watching TV shows that had maids and butlers in it who would call the people they worked for "masters". They'd then call the children of their masters "young masters". He wasn't sure whether people really still did that or not but he decided to be safe and just call her that.

Now Leon was able to hear some music being played. Sometimes they'd play the average wedding songs then they'd play a Halloween-themed song. He was pretty sure he even heard a Halloween-themed-wedding song which was somewhat surprising... Then he noticed some girl in the crowd randomly waving to somebody. He looked to where the girl was waving at and saw a somewhat tall guy with blonde hair in a black cocktail suit. He must have been one of the servers for the event. He shrugged and continued walking but then stopped dead in his tracks. He tried recalling what the waving girl was wearing and he remembered seeing wings and a green dress... "Of course." he thought to himself and ran back to where he saw the girl. He could no longer see her though. Great, he had just missed her.

He placed the palm of his on his face and sighed at his failure. Then he thought of something else though; the guy she waved at kinda looked like him. It was obvious though that it wasn't him if you were to look for more than two seconds... So she did have some of that punch... He hoped that she didn't have more than a single cup of it. He ended up walking around for another five minutes before he spotted her again. Finally... He ran up to her and this time got in-front of her to make sure it was actually her. It was. He went to place both of his hands on her shoulders and asked "I've finally found you.... You have no idea what went through trying to find you, Young Master. Why did you leave the meeting spot?" he said in a strict yet thankful tone. He was happy that he had found her. He might have seemed mean and lecturing but he was genuinely happy to have found her and make sure she was safe.

[Miyuki Kiri]

Miyuki carried her little self over to the guy she thought was Leon. They both had blond hair and a bartender look. She approached him but as she got closer she started to realize that he wasn't Leon. Miyuki looked like a short, petite girl who wouldn't harm a fly. Of course that wasn't true. Miyuki had actually only ever been in one fight in her life, and she had almost mauled that person to death, but that didn't mean she was violent at all. The only time she got in a fight was after she had sort of lost her mind. Some might stay her mind never came completely back to her...

She was grinning like an idiot as she tapped on the older man's shoulder. He turned around and gave her a weird look. Miyuki's head tilted as she studied him and was trying to figure out why he looked different. The man walked away as she realized she had got the wrong person. She started laughing hysterically that she had messed something so simple up and then wandered off a little ways. Soon though her parole officer butler found her. He appeared in front of her and started scolding her with this tone that sounded like scolding but also relief.

She looked up at him with the same stupid grin, "Well! I was standing still... I was doing what I was supposed to for like a WHOLE minute. THEN! Oh this is the good part, THEN I got bored and I walked around and I found a bunch of snacks and some punch that tasted kind of funny. " She started laughing and then she looked up at the sky on accident. She stared up at the stars for a moment and then she looked around at the party. "I wonder what flavor the stars are?" She was going off and being random again. Miyuki then brushed her butler's hands off her shoulders. "I want to dance!" she exclaimed with a big grin on her face and then started walking off to her left. She was just walking off in random directions, but of course that wasn't a problem. Leon had much longer legs he could easily catch up. Miyuki looked like a child lost in the crowd almost. She was extremely short after all...

Miyuki found herself a spot and then started getting her groove on. She really didn't know what she was exactly supposed to do to be a so-called good dancer since she was used to formal dancing. She had learned all the tangos and what not. She just didn't know there human's ways of dancing in public. She stopped right in the middle of her off display of moves that had been long gone for around 300 years and started a laughing fit. She walked over and poked Leon. "Your probably jealous of my pretty dance!" She started laughing, her tone had been a joking one. the crowd ignored her outbursts of random hysterical laughter. It seemed laughter was a fine reaction to what was going on here. This was time for merry making there was no reason for tears.

She then remember what Leon had gone off to do in the first place... "So did you get all the dirt out from under your nails? You sure did take a long time!" She was only teasing again, since it sometimes seemed that Miyuki didn't know how to take anything seriously. She was just a curious kitten was all. This fall event was a big deal no reason to waste it all away in the bathroom. Miyuki planned on enjoying her time here since she was sure no "accidents" could possibly happen here. The girl still had a lot of partying to do and fun to be had. This was not the time for sleep, or hand washing. Although hand washing is a great idea during certain uses for the hands. Miyuki wasn't the most experienced with labor but she understood the basic concepts of a lot of things. The vampire didn't exactly think very much and the spked punch did help either. Maybe she should start reading labels? Nah...

"Well! I was standing still... I was doing what I was supposed to for like a WHOLE minute. THEN! Oh this is the good part, THEN I got bored and I walked around and I found a bunch of snacks and some punch that tasted kind of funny. "

"Well the Young Master needs to understand that usually when asked to wait that it may take a couple of minutes. If it was just one minute then it would hardly classify as 'waiting'. So please do not worry me again by doing so." Leon said to her in the type of voice that is obviously angry yet trying to be as nice as possible. Just as he finished saying that he put another cough-drop into his mouth. He realized that if he was a normal human than he could have possibly overdosed on cough-drops since they are medicine after all. "Now then... how abou-" he began to say when...

"I wonder what flavor the stars are?"

He hated when she asked trivial things like that. Or rather... maybe he didn't hate it. It certainly was somewhat annoying but funny too. He wasn't sure whether he enjoyed or despised the humor of his master. Today he enjoyed it. Tomorrow he'd probably despise it once more. That's how it was with him. He looked up to the same stars and said "Well, the stars are suns, and suns are yellow. Perhaps they taste like cheese?" of course though that would mean the stars which are blue would be moldy cheese and then the red stars... he figured he'd leave that part out.

"I want to dance!"

And with that she had walked off again without him. Of course she wouldn't be able to lose him again though. He wouldn't even go to the bathroom to wash his hands again if he had to punch somebody - he wasn't letting his eyes off of her again today. Shortly after she had found a little spot for her to dance. He smiled like a father watching his daughter... which when he did it it just seemed like a pedophile smile. He never looked at her in that way though. She was even young enough to be his daughter... or well, everybody was really. He just never had shown any type of romantic or sexual interest in her. That would have just been weird for him to do so. He also didn't want to think about what kind of punishment he'd suffer for seducing the girl who was his master. She then just randomly stopped dancing and started laughing which made him let loose a small chuckle himself.

"Your probably jealous of my pretty dance!"

"Well of course. I'm so jealous of your dance moves that I could only hope to be able to dance with the same grace as you some day, Young Master." he said returning the same joking tone. Despite using a joking tone he still sounded slightly serious though. Maybe because he was... Although he was pretty sure that he was a better dancer himself. Sometimes when he had nothing to do he'd dance with the other maids in his old master's residence. Quite a few of the maids turned out to have butler-fantasies so they'd want to dance with him. Unfortunately for them, he sucked. They ended up teaching him everything he knows of dancing. Well, that and watching dancing at the balls.

"So did you get all the dirt out from under your nails? You sure did take a long time!"

"Yes, thank you for your concern. My hands are perfectly clean now." Leon replied. He really never even needed to wash his hands though... he was wearing gloves in the first place. He still just felt... dirty. He took two steps away from her with his back turned to her and then he suddenly turned around and crouched over - extending his right arm and the inside of his hand to her. "So since you happen to like dancing, and I'm such a bad dancer compared to you, how about the Young Master teaches me how to dance?" he asked her with his hand still extended. He looked like some sort of prince from a ball that was asking for the hand of a beautiful young lady that he fancied to a dance. Of course though, he was really just an old demon wearing sunglasses and a bartenders outfit surrounded by kids in Halloween costumes and other festival decorations. Then the tiny bit of a mood that he had set was even further ruined when a large crunching noise could be heard from him biting into his cough drop. Even with his right hand extended he was still able to reach into his pocket with his left hand to pop another cough-drop into his mouth. He also looked strangely seductive doing so as he caught the cough-drop between his teeth... then ruined that by chomping down on it.

Leon was talking to Miyuki in a tone that showed he was displeased but trying to be nice. She really only heard something that stayed in her head as "blah blah blah, don't walk off from where your supposed to be waiting." Miyuki nodded but she would probably just do the same thing all over again in a day or two. She was just like a bad dog. Miyuki understood sit, and still, but when confronted by a squirrel... Well the obvious thing to do is chase after it! Her logic wasn't exactly the same as most sane people's logic but that didn't really matter. She wasn't most sane people. This was Miyuki and she might not actually be sane, a doctor would have to check that out some other time.

Miyuki interrupted him to ask a question about the stars. She sometimes just wondered strange things who's answers were no where to be found. The girl laughed at Leon's answer."Perhaps. I'll have to ask one of them later." She then exclaimed she wanted to dance and took off to do whatever she wanted to do. The music was pretty uplifting the song she attempted to dance to was one she wasn't familiar with. She danced for a bit before accusing her butler of being jealous. She laughed at his answer to her statement. "That will never happen!" She was giggling but it seemed she actually believed that. Miyuki was a little bit vain... Her arrogance just came with the package of how she had been raised. If anyone was annoyed with it they could go beat up her parents!

The girl nodded when he told her his hands were perfectly clean now. She watched him with curiosity as he took two steps away from her and then turned around. By now the song was something two people might be able dance together with. The song was just fine for that occupation but Miyuki was not sure about dancing with Leon for some reason. He seemed like it would be fine to dance with him, and she could teach him to be a good dancer like herself, but then it was kind of odd how he was chewing up cough drops. Miyuki thought it was just odd how he was always taking those cough drops. She was still wearing her big stupid grin though. She took his hand and she took a step closer. He was really tall and she was really short so it was a bit odd to see them dance together.

The girl started dancing with him and she was smiling still. She didn't seem very dangerous at all like this. She probably wasn't all that dangerous. Despite being very strong and fast she hadn't exactly mastered those powers, and her shadow control could use some work too. It was right of her Uncle to send someone to look after her while she was in exile. Otherwise it was almost certainty that she would be in major trouble.

Miyuki was knowledgeable in ballroom dance. Thank the heavens they were playing a wedding song that she can dance to in the way she actually knew how. Miyuki had mastered may skills that she was supposed to know in order to be a dignified lady of power. Which spoon to use, perfect posture, and of course ballroom dance. They were all old fashioned things that the vampire royalty somehow still liked. She got to throw all those manners out the window when she got exiled though. Lots of things stopped happening when she was exiled. She wasn't upset about it at all. Miyuki was happier now as it was.

"Have you tried any of the snacks yet? I liked the punch I had like two glasses of it!" She was still grinning. Her dancing was just a tad bit clumsy. She was dancing with Leon and she noticed some people giving funny looks. Miyuki was pretty short and Leon being tall it looked like he was a pedophile they were an odd pair. Miyuki found that funny and she couldn't stop giggling the whole time. "Princesses should get married more often!" She said. This whole party was because the princess was got married after all. It was a special occasion. Miyuki was happy for the couple, but she really didn't care that much. She had already learned that family could be a pain in the neck... literally.

"Perhaps. I'll have to ask one of them later."

"You can ask, but I'm not sure that they'll answer." Leon replied with a bit of a laugh afterwards. He was able to picture Miyuki walked up to a star and asked it what it tastes like... then taking a big bite out of it. However, she would burn up due to the heat of the star before even being able to get close enough to bite it. That was a funny thought too so he let another slight laugh escape from his lips.

"That will never happen!"

"Your right, I'll never be able to match the Young Master." Even though he couldn't really think of any good way to respond to what she said - he had to say something. He believed that it would be rude not to reply to something that she said... even though he's done it before. So a lot of times it would sound as if he was forcing himself to talk when he really just had nothing to add to the conversation.

Miyuki seemed slightly hesitant to accepting his offer to dance, but she ended up taking his hand and dancing. He thought that he must have looked like a pedophile since he had to be at least 10 inches taller than her and they were dancing. People would either think that or they were siblings. Maybe father and daughter if he looked older. The two of them danced to the tune of the wedding song that was playing in the background over the noise of laughing children and people talking. He must have overestimated his own dancing though since he took a wrong step and ended up positioning his foot directly where Miyuki's was landing so she stepped on his foot. It was his fault though and he knew it so he was fine.

As the two of them continued their dance she asked ""Have you tried any of the snacks yet? I liked the punch I had like two glasses of it!".

"Ah, I had a feeling that you had some of that punch. You probably had the alcoholic kind too. I don't have any interest in the snacks here though." he replied - he really only needed his cough drops... speaking of which he just finished the one that was currently in his mouth. He needed another one but couldn't get it without breaking the dance up. But just like all addictions he could go for a little bit without needing another.

Right as Leon began to notice the passerbys giving them strange looks she said "Princesses should get married more often!".

"Well there aren't that many princesses these days. And not all of them have such parties like this. I can't imagine that there will be another event like this here in Liba for at least another 25 years, Young Master." he said while sounding distracted due to thinking about it. If the princess was just getting married then she'd have to have her own child who would then grow up to be a princess and then get married herself... As soon as the song ended another one with a similar tune began so that they could continue dancing. He took advantage of that quick gap between songs though to pop another cough-drop into his mouth.

Then Leon noticed that a security guard was walking towards their direction. He immediately took control of the dance and positioned himself to have his back facing the security guard. Hopefully the guard wouldn't spot him out in the crowd... He didn't want to get Miyuki or himself in trouble.

[Miyuki Kiri]

The stars were indeed a good topic for debate. Honestly? Miyuki didn't believe anything the human scholars said about the night sky. She believed in magic, and that there were bumps in the night that should defiantly be feared. She had a run in with one of those "bumps in the night". She was one of them. In the dead of night Miyuki was a force to be reckoned with. Shadows took true form for her. when with Miyuki the shadow isn't just the shadow on the wall. A certain relative had learned what it was like to have a shadow's hands around their neck... They were to blame for that. They had started it. The whole mess had gone out of control, but she didn't mind. It was better this way.

Miyuki blinked, "Alcoholic? I didn't see any alcoholic stuff!" Miyuki was right, she didn't read the sign to know that the punch was spiked. No wonder it tasted funny! that explained everything! Well except for why pigs don't fly. She glanced off in the direction of the snack table. "They should label those better!" She laughed imagining how stupid the persons' must have been to not label the alcoholic punch. Of course she didn't know that they had, she had just failed to read any sign in a five mile radius of here. She really needed to start doing that...

She nodded at his answer. There really weren't that many princesses and he was probably right. Twenty-five years was a long time... She didn't want to wait! Miyuki was going to set up as many princesses as she could with handsome princes. Then go to all of their weddings. Of course that would be a nice thing to add to her bucket list. Tonight she had added ask a star how it tasted, and get a princess married to her list. She just made the list because she wanted to do those things, not because she was going to die anytime soon. Although with the way her family planned on treating her... It was indeed a possibility.

The song ended and she briefly parted in the dancing with Leon. Of course he just had to have another one. It was kind of funny, kind of weird. Miyuki already knew that a lot of people thought she was strange. She wasn't going to complain over a little cough drop fetish. Soon they were dancing again to a different tune. The girl didn't even notice that the security guard was looking around. She just listened to the music and found another silly thing to say. "Have you ever danced with any royalty besides me?" She was smiling. Miyuki figured they both knew by know, or at least she did, that she didn't really count as royalty anymore. Getting exiled tended to do that... If she ever got her spot back in vampire society she would be a noble again, but for now she was a nobody, nothing better then a human... Just a threat to someone's inheritance that needed to disappear...

"I agree, they should make it near-impossible to take a drink without noticing the label." So Leon said.... but he really thought that it was pretty obvious in the first place. Oh well, there wasn't anything he could do about it now.

"Have you ever danced with any royalty besides me?"

"No I have not. Your the first member of royalty that I have had the honor of dancing with." he said with a smile and a slight tilt of his head. Even if she technically wasn't "royalty" anymore she still was to him. She's the niece of his previous master who is royalty - so in his mind even if shes essentially been kicked out of the family she's still royalty to him. Another minute after saying that the song had ended and he took his hands away from his master and bowed down to her. "Thank you for the honor of dancing with you, Young Master." he said - followed by looking around for that security guard. The guard was nowhere to be seen though.

"So now what would the Young Master like to do?" he asked her as he popped another cough-drop into his mouth. The bag that he had been taking cough-drops from was almost empty... good thing he always kept two bags in his pocket at once. The next thing he noticed was that there were three security guards standing right next to them. The guard in the middle was a tall muscular man similar to Leon. The other two guards were short and very... round. He always wondered how unfit guards such as themselves could even be guards... He could easily dispatch of all three of these guards. Not even the one in the middle would give him any trouble at all.

"Young girl, do you know this man?" the guard in the middle asked Miyuki with a calm voice and nice expression on his face as the other two guards glared at Leon as if he was some sort of violent pedophile.

"What business do you ha-" he began to say when the guard in the middle suddenly interrupted.

"Sir, please calm down. I asked the young girl a question, not you. If you continue to act out we'll have to restrain you."

Leon was ready to knock out all three of the guards but figured that it would be best to just let his master answer the question. He was just hoping she'd tell them that she knew him instead of making up some lie like how he forced her to dance with him or something like that. He wouldn't really be surprised if she did do something like that... she was drunk after-all. But even if she wasn't drunk could he really expect her to behave better? She'd probably find it funny to lie anyways just so that he'd have to punch them. If he did that though then he'd definitely have to leave the party else all the guards would be looking out for him. All the guards would be... troublesome. Not because he wouldn't be able to deal with them but because he'd be causing a small war in the party. He'd rather not end up on the news as that guy who beat up a bunch of security guards at the royal wedding party. And even worse - they'd call him a pedophile too probably. Not only would he not be able to go out in public without people running away from him and calling the police but they'd think he's looking for children to kidnap or something. He couldn't let his reputation get that bad for as long as he was serving the Kiri family.

He shot a look towards Miyuki that said "Please do not lie and just tell them that you know me." Now he just had to place his faith in Miyuki to not lie and then go about the rest of the party.

The girl was surprised by all the men that suddenly appeared. They looked like guards or something. She wondered what they were up to, but then they asked her a question. Did she know Leon? Well, of course she did! They didn't know that though... So she had to tell them, but she didn't feel like answering that question. She didn't even notice the glare Leon gave her. She rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hip. "Do I look like the type of girl to dance with a stranger?! You boys should watch your mouths! Do you have nay idea who I am?" She sounded angry as she yelled at the guards, but then burst out in hysterical laughter. This was all so funny suddenly! Why was that?

She laughed very hard and grabbed onto Leon's arm as she started to to hunch over in her laughter. It was totally irrational behavior. The humans would have no idea who she was. Of course then she remembered something. She was a nobody, an exile. People wanted her dead. No one had respect fro her anymore. She sighed and something like melancholy settled over her. She stood up straight, gave them a glare, and gave them a straight out answer. "Yes, I know this man. If you have a problem with that you can shove it up your a**." She smirked and she then tugged Leon in the random direction she decided to walk. Which ended up being towards the snack table again.

Miyuki wasn't exactly sure why she was acting this way. It didn't make any sense at all. Was it the part about being a nobody now? No, that couldn't be it. Being an exile? Well that stung a little but she was used to it. Maybe she was homesick? was she really just missing her real home? Miyuki wasn't sure about that one. Sure she liked her mother and father, but the rest of her family wanted her gone. There was no way she could go back to a place where everyone wanted her dead.

She arrived with a snack table in front of her and she quickly grabbed a cookie and shoved it in her mouth. She chewed with an almost angry expression on her face. Her sudden mood swing really didn't make any sense, and she didn't understand it at all. "Those guards were really annoying." She then grabbed another cookie and bit into it. She looked up at the sky again, "Do stars get homesick?" She then sighed and bit into the rest of her cookie. Grabbing a cup and looking around for some water which she quickly found and guzzled down. She was suddenly insanely thirsty and water really wasn't doing anything for her... Even though she managed to quickly guzzle down three cups of it.

"Do I look like the type of girl to dance with a stranger?! You boys should watch your mouths! Do you have any idea who I am?"

Leon let out a sigh when she said that and then began laughing. She was always so crazy... She had grabbed onto his arm and was laughing hysterically before changing into a surprisingly serious tone.

"Yes, I know this man. If you have a problem with that you can shove it up your a**."

"Young Master! You shouldn't speak like th-" he began to say but before he could finish she was dragging him off somewhere. And of course... it was towards the snack table. "Please do not eat too much, Young Master. This type of food isn't good for you and makes you rather uncontrollable. May I suggest you go to the table with the salads and fruits instead?" he told her - hoping that she'd listen.

"Those guards were really annoying."

"I agree. They would have been even more annoying if that had persisted." he said loudly enough to make sure the guard that had followed them and was trying to hide in the crowd behind him could hear it. If he saw one of them again then he would definitely have to knock them unconscious and leave.

"Do stars get homesick?"

"Well, why would they get homesick? They haven't left the place where they were created. They're just always still up there in space. Besides, even if they were capable of leaving or-..." he looked over to her mid-speech and saw her guzzling several cups of water "Y-young Master! Stop that! That's actually dangerous to do!" he scolded her like a little kid who had just done something bad. He placed his right hand on his forehead and sighed. So troublesome.

Then he figured that she probably meant something else behind her previous question... Whatever it was though he had missed out on it and his response wasn't exactly very comforting either. "I think you've had enough of fun and sweets today, Young Master. How about we head back to the house and make sure it hasn't burned down or anything? I'll make you a nice cup of tea with artificial blood mixed in too." he noticed that a woman who was close enough to hear the artificial blood part was now staring at him as if he was some sort of sociopath cannibal. So troublesome...
