[Kellen Setos]

kellen Sat in his house, Looking at the maps on his table as Kylar was training outside. He could hear kai complaining at it but ignored it. She did that a lot. kellen growled, looking at the map and then across the room. Gods, he had so much on his mind. Who took nancy's body? when? Was kage all right? Was he the same? Where was east? Gods, so many questions. Kellen looked back at the maps, thinking of what directions to attack, which way to approuch the rose? kellen Looked at it again, but a bang inturupted his thoughts.

Kai bite the dust in the back yard, seeing kylar looking down at her from above and gave a growl of frustration. She hated fighting, yet kellen was making her learn this stuff. kai got up, her skates on the ground as Kylar helped her up. She smiled at him and sighed, making it so she looked cuter and gave a view of her chest. She felt the heat rise off His skin and smirked, knowing he was looking."Can we take a break?" She asked, batting her eye lashes and Kylar looked away, and She knew she had him."Fine, but for fiv-." He started bu Kai was already gone.

kai zipped into the house, Zipping past Kellen and said," Bia Kellen," stopping only to open the door and Zip out, leaving skid marks on the floor. Kellen Looked at the map that had been in his hand now on the floor from the wind rip and smirked. Kai was Kai. Kellen picked the map up off the floor as Kylar came in and Kellen looked at his son and laughed at the blush on his face."She got to you again, didn't she?" Kylar nodded and Kellen laughed, saying," Some wolf of the west you are," but it was in good humor." Don't worry son. She would get the best of any male. Only reason she doesn't do that to me is because I'm a father figure. But, don't be so easy on her. She will learn one way or the other," He said, sitting down as Kylar looked over his shoulder and Pointed at a spot on the out spread map, saying," one of our spies found a good spot here that will be good." Kellen nodded, listening.

Kai Flashed over all the houses, Her skates Flashing over the edge as she jumped off, spinning in mid air and landed, the momentum and the little motor in the heel Pushing her forward. She loved being like this. She Zipped around Other weres, some Easy moving out of the way while others cursed her. kai waved at the ones that did and ignored the ones that cursed her. Kai Jumped, her strong legs propelling her up as she skated up the side of a building, grinding on the side and was lunched up into the air. Kai closed her eyes, those few seconds stretching in her mind till they were as long as ten minutes to her, feeling as if she had wings, then begun to fall. Kai twisted, lashing her legs out and landed on her feet, zipping across the roof and jumping over to the next one. She loved it. She might not be able to fight, but she could easily keep away.

[Claire Alloy]

Claire was uneasy, back out in the woods she had come across a Turic spy. Of course she quickly dispatched it, but it wasn't good news. It was pretty close to here... The last thing she wanted was Turics finding this place and making a mess. She was on her way to go tell Kellen this way, as leader he probably wanted to know. Then again... why bother the leader with your information? She could talk to whoever was below him in ranks first and avoid pestering the alpha. that sounded like a much better plan, but then a girl with wild pink hair flew by on a hoverboard. Claire stepped out of the way just in time and watched with what could only be described as maternal horror as the teenage wolf went about doing dangerous tricks...

Claire took a deep breath... Stay cool, she is just having fun. Oh but she wasn't wearing a helmet, what if she falls? Claire shook her head, she wasn't that wolf's mother, why was she freaking out? Probably because after her own accident with moving vehicles she was paranoid as heck about them. Then a little head of gold was skipping in front of her. Claire immediately recognized the young female with golden locks and bright blue eyes. "Bells?" she called the younger girl's nickname.

Bella was skipping home to say hello to her family when she heard a voice calling her name. Bella turned smiling at the woman she knew would be there. No one else had the funny accent, and that sweet voice. Bella had hung out with Claire when she first came here. The younger girl smiled up at the older female. "Hey Claire, I was heading home, you need something?" She said in that chiming voice of hers. Claire grinned, "I sure did. Actually I was going to see your Pa, is this a bad time?" Asked the older one. Bella smiled and shook her head, taking Claire's hand. Both females had smooth soft hands...

"I'm sure now is fine, c'mon I will take you there." Said Bella tugging on Claire to follow. Claire grinned and let the younger girl be the guide. "Thanks hun." Replied Claire, and then it seemed so fast when they reached the place where Bella lived, even though they had simply been walking a bit briskly. Bella opened the door, "I'm home! I brought Claire she wanted to talk to you Dad." Said Bella as she came in. She pulled Claire inside who only hesitated a little bit. She really hoped she wasn't bothering the Setos family... Bella pulled Claire over to where Kellen was looking at a map. "Hello sir." She said, smiling. Bella was also grinning, because she simply loved hearing Claire's accent.

As Kai raced above the roof tops, happy to be free in the sky with her skates on, Kellen and Kylar were planning. Well, discussing about the other winds." Where are the succesors to north and south. we know they named them before the fall. We just need to find them, and name them. You havethe power to name them, right?" Kylar asked, and kellen nodded."I do have the power to make them the winds because they have north's and south's blessing. I can name them due to north ad south being on zane's side. I am glad that you and sythe don't have succesors right now. Other wise they would be targets of his. We need to find them. I think they are your age though," Kellen said, smirking at kylar. kylar nodded, remembering them. They trained together before. Before his mentor died. And left him west. and he trained with east, who didn't name one. Kellen leaned on his hand, his elbow on the table. he felt like he was spending most of his time here, hunched over paper.

kellen and Kylar looked up as Bella came in and Kellen smiled, getting up and picking her daughter up. he gave her a kiss on the check and looked at Claire, and nearly dropped Bella. "been a while. And last i checked, i said call me Kellen." Kellen smirked, putting Bella down and looked at Kylar, saying," Kylar, can you take your sister outside please." Kylar looked at his dad and Kellen gave him a look of no arguing. Kylar signed, taking Bella's hand and pulled her outside. Kellen watched them go, Rubbing between his eyes."And bring me Kai when you get the chance." Kellen added, and kylar gave him a weird look. Kellen nodded, and looked back at claire." We need to talk."

Kellen first thing was to walk up and give Claire a big hug, say," Good to see you again." Kellen meant it to. It didn't pain him to see her at all. well, not enough to get in the way. Kellen let go, asking," Um, yeah, about this, but i got some news for you that you might want to sit down for. also, thanks for dispatching that turic. We the guys were drawing strays to see who goes after him." Kellen smirked at that, the turic thing. The other...... not so much. he knew all about her and kai. nancy told him before she passed.

Kellen sat down on the couch, waiting for her to join him and said," You didn't happen to see the girl with long pink hair flying around on skates did you?" Kellen asked as the front door banged. Kellen looked up to see Kai walking in with her two siblings in tow. Kellen really didn't want to have to do this, but he had to."Claire, meet your daughter," Kellen said, holding his hand out to point at kai. Kai's face went to shock.

Kai raced over the roofs as she heard the stretch of paws nbehained her and turned to see a black mass grab her. She yelled, BUt heard her brother's voice say," Be quiet. Dad asked for you." Kai stopped striggling, and said," You have a damned FUNNY way of saying it." Kylar grinned,running back with Kai over his shoulder. he had left bella on the front porch for the second, andjumped of the roof, landing on it with only a minute passed."Better," Kylar said, plopping Kai down in front of bella."Hey bella,: Kai said, straighting her shirt skirt and hugged the little girl. Kai smiled, watching Kylar shift and whistled, adn kylar blushed as he grabbed his pants, putting them on. Kai laughed, asking," So, where is ken?" Kai laughed again, thinking of kylar's half wolf. It was so funny to grab him and tie him to a chair. Make up and all of that."Come on will you," Kylar said, buttoning his shirt up and herded the girls in. Kai looked at her little sister and asked," So who is that boy you keep going to see?" Kylar rolled his eyes, pushing Kia inside on her skates.

Kai lead the way after the threshold, and when Kellen told her her mom was right there. she went brain lock. Her MOM? Kai was speechless for a minute and then looked at woman again. She did have the same face as her, almost the same hair. Kai couldn't find the words for it at all.

[Claire Alloy]

Bella giggled as her dad lifted her off the ground. She kissed his cheek back, and she left with Kylar when told to. Claire was a tiny bit surprised at the warm welcome. She didn't really know why she never expected warm welcomes. Maybe it was because she hadn't really fitted in when she was younger. Nancy had always been the one to make Claire happy, well until her mate came along... Anyway she found the hug a bit awkward but lightly returned it. "Sorry, Kellen?" Her accent rubbed off on her words and it was something Bella would have loved to hear, if she wasn't off with her big brother.

Nancy nodded her head as she was thanked for taking care of the spy. She looked confused as she was asked to sit down, but she did so obediently. When the mention of the girl flying around dangerously with pink hair came up she nodded. Then Kellen said something that shocked Claire. Her daughter? The hair rose on the back of her neck as she turned to look at the pink haired female. This what she had hoped for, years of waiting. She was also scared to death that her daughter would reject her. Claire hadn't once been able to lay her eyes on the child, and now here she was in front of her, all grown up. It was a boiling pot of mixed feelings to see her.

Once she looked at the girl she didn't have a doubt. Those were his eyes.. Their daughter had his eyes... Claire could see the resemblance that the girl shared with herself as well. It just shocked her to see those eyes again, they were always beautiful. Claire didn't even know this girl's name... Claire's mother had been the one to name her, and she had refused to share information about the girl. Claire understood why, even though it drove her nuts not knowing.

The older female took a deep breath taking in the girl's profile one more time. "Hello?" she twanged. Standing up from her seat, then she looked at Kellen. "How did you know?" she asked, then looked back at the pink haired girl with a longing in her eyes. Claire opened up her arms, as if consenting for the younger girl to come give her a hug. Claire was scared to death right now that the girl would be angry or resentful. What would Claire do if that happened?

Outside Bella was on the porch looking at clouds. She couldn't help but notice the one shaped like a pony. She grinned, thinking of Claire. Bella had thought Claire was a cool cowgirl from the moment they met. Bella pretty much ignored her older sibling's argument. No reason for her to get in the middle of it. She just smiled and watched them, and sighed as Kai went inside. Bella stretched and yawned.

[Kai Alloy]

Kai looked at the woman as she stood, looking at her. Kai could see the similarities between them. yeah, Kai didn't have the accent, but that might be because she grew up with her m- Aunt. It felt weird to call this woman her mom. Kai looked at her eyes and saw the lounging, and Looked away at the floor, not wanting her tears to be seen."Why?" She asked, the question should be obvious. Kai squeezed her eyes shut, holding back the tears. She trembled a little, but held her hand together. Kellen saw this and said," From Nancy. She had Kai all along"

"WHY DID YOU GIVE ME UP?!?!?!?!" She yelled, looking at her mother in angry and hurt. Pain relied on all her features as she shook with unheard sobs."What was so bad you gave me up? What tour me from you? Why didn't you find me?" She yelled at first, but her voice quieted from it and she felt tears leak down her face, and her knees gave. Luckily Kellen saw it coming and had gotten up and swept a chair underneath Kai so she sat down. Kai looked at him and stayed silent, but her eyes said," Thank you dad." Kellen nodded, sitting back down on the couch and Watched, Kai containing her tear, and her sobs dieing to wimpers at worst and nothing at best. Kellen watched them both, unsure how this would play out.



Kylar walked outside as Kai blew. It wasn't his place to be there. He would have loved to be there and comfort his sister, but it wasn't his place. Kylar sat besides his youngest sister, wondering where willow was. He was starting to like her, in her own weird way. She still behaved like a street kid, and Kellen was giving her time to teach her how to be a princess. Kylar shook his head, looking up at the sky and asked," So, who is this miki guy hear about?" Kylar asked, hearing crying inside. He felt the need to go inside and protect his sister, his pack mate, but resisted. His pack was a big one. kylar grinned, faces and names flashing through his mind. He loved them all in there own way, even ken and Willow. Well, ken was a bit annoying at times, But at least willow wasn't weird like kai or to innocent like Bella. Not that there was anything wrong with bella. Kylar grinned, tripping over himself in his own thoughts."And i tell you, if her breaks your heart, I break his face." Kylar smirked at that image.

[Claire Alloy]

Claire's heart wrenched when she heard the word why. It was a painful memory, just thinking of it made her heart cry. Her arms dropped back down, and when she heard the name Nancy she looked at Kellen. "Nancy? You know Nancy?" Claire then looked at Kellen is surprise before hearing her daughter yell. Claire shrank back from it, feeling it like a slap to the face. Claire hardly noticed the tear that escaped her eye. Her baby was crying, was angry...

"Before you were born, there was an accident. Your... Your father died, and I was in a coma. It didn't look like I was going to wake up, and you were born while I was still asleep. I didn't wake up until three months later. Your Grandma wouldn't tell me where you were. No one would tell me anything, they said I had to rest and get better. I was so upset... I wasn't functional for a long time. I got better, and I've been looking for you for so long. No one would help me, I don't know your name, I've never seen you before, I'm so sorry I haven't been here for you. I u-understand... If you don't want anything to do with me..."

Claire looked at the floor, remembering her "dysfunctional" past. What really happened is she got depressed and had a bad drinking problem, which she was thinking about returning to at the moment. She didn't want to deal with the pain of loosing her child twice, that was too much. NO. Claire mentally slapped herself, she couldn't return to being a weakling. She would just have to deal with this. There would be no falling into the pit of despair again. She didn't want to be a weakling again...

Bella looked at Kylar with a smile when he asked about Miki. Then before she said anything she heard him threatening Miki. Bella turned as red as an apple and looked distressed. She stuttered out her answer, "N-N-NO! I-IT'S N-NOT LIKE THAT!" She buried her face in her hands in embarrassment, and giggled. She was laughing that her brother was so protective, and laughing at her own reaction to it. She felt like a spazz! Why did she care so much anyway? Before she probably would have just brushed that off... She quickly stopped laughing as she came to this shocking realization. She almost looked sick now... She definitely felt nauseous! It wasn't because she was grossed out, it was because she was nervous, she took a deep breath and blocked those thoughts away. No... Miki was like a puppy, if anything it was a simple case of puppy love and nothing more...

[Kai Alloy]

Kai Listened, and felt a pain edge deeper and another lift. Happy that her mom didn't leave her on purpose, she wasn't abandoned but taken from her, and a pain that her mom was like that. Kai Felt tears crawl down her eyes and heard Kellen's voice cut through the silence."Kai, first step." Kai looked up to see him looking at her with warm eyes. She loved those eyes and knew that they were the most ever changing eyes she ever saw. From that warmth to such cold. Kellen looked up at Claire, still standing and said," Yeah. She was my mate." kellen frowned, remembering that pain.

Kai let a sob out and then openly cried, getting up and tackling her mother in a hug, burring her face into her shoulder, crying in mixed feeling. relief that she found a mother, one that was really hers. And scared to accept her at all. Kellen grabbed Claire's shoulders as Kai's weight pushed them both back on the couch, both of them now sitting. Kellen smiled, happy for her. He got up, walking into the kitchen as if getting a drink but looked back and winked at Claire, the obsious," I'll give you two a minute." Kellen smirked, walking in and just leaned against the counter, looking at the ceiling and listening with his wolf ears.

Kai held her mother's shirt, leaning against her shoulder and didn't want to let go."Don't leave," She whispered, her tears drying. She couldn't leave her family here. She looked up at her, and was kind of shocked to see how much she looked like her mo- aunt. It was so hard to be calling m- Aunt nancy that. Aunt. But here was her real mother. It was so confusing."M- Aunt Nancy took care of me well, But........" Kai couldn't finish that. She could still feel that pain of Nancy leaving.



Kylar smirked, hearing Kai starting to cry inside and said," Mother daughter time." Kylar felt a pang in his heart, remembering his own mom. He felt an old feeling that he felt towards bella and kage stir again, but it vanished under his anger at himself. He got rid of those feelings a long time ago. He laughed at what bella said, smiling at his little sister and said," What ever you say. What ever you say Ella bella." Kylar smirked, looking back up at the sky and pointed, saying," Pony swag," Pointing at the cloud that looked like the pony. Yeah, he was childish around bella. She and kage were the only ones he was childish about. Even around kellen was wasn't anymore. he was west, and around his dad, that reminder was all to plain to forget.

[Claire Alloy]

Claire heard Kellen say something about first steps. She looked up at Kai as she came running, arms open. The hug pushed Claire back onto the couch and Claire smiled. She was finally holding her baby. Finally she had her daughter in her arms. She laughed and cried at the same time. Claire looked at Kellen wide eyed at him. "You married Nancy?! Where is she?" Claire looked around for wedding photos very disappointed she never found out her best friend, and cousin, was getting married, and even missed the wedding. Claire rubbed Kai's back, as the girl buried her face into her mother's shoulder.

Claire was wondering how Nancy was doing. They hadn't seen each other since Nancy took off on her own. Well Claire hadn't seen much of anyone for a while... She really missed Nancy. Claire would have to call her mom and ask why she was never told Nancy got married. That much at least would have been safe wouldn't it? Then again Kai being here with Nancy of course Claire's mom never said anything. Claire couldn't believe her baby was with her cousin this whole time.

Claire heard Kai stumble on her words. "Oh Kai, you don't have to call Nancy your aunt. If you want to call her your Ma, go ahead. I don't mind. So what about Nancy?" The last question came out with a worried tone. She didn't want to worry her baby with titles. She could care less right now what Kai called her. Nancy was her baby's Ma, the woman who had been there for her. Claire was okay with whatever Kai decided to call Nancy, and herself. Kai could call her Claire, or Aunt, or Ma. But if it was awkward for her she could still call Nancy her Ma. Nothing wrong with that, Claire had already known that she was very late, that her baby was almost grown by now and that she would have her own habits by now. Claire didn't want to change Kai, she just wanted to know her, hold her, love her...

Bella looked up at the pony in the air as her brother pointed it out saying "pony swag". Bella heard Kai sobbing inside. She wondered what exactly was going on. From what she had heard through the door she understood that Claire was really Kai's mom. That would be strange, having her big sister have a different mom. It wouldn't change anything between them though. Definitely not. Bella loved all her siblings, her whole family, and all of her pack. "Claire looks a lot like mom..." Bella said quietly, opening up the locket she had around her neck and looking at the picture. Was that why Bella really liked her so much? She wondered what exactly had happened before with Claire, Kai and her own mom, Nancy. It sounded all very complicated...

[Kellen Setos]

Kellen wished he didn't have to say this. He still didn't like to think on the fact that she was gone. Kellen signed, not going to let Kai be the one to say it. She was his mate, and she deserved that much respect.

Kellen walked back into the living room, saying," I got this one Kai." Kai looked at him with watery eyes and sniffed, nodding. She felt the pain of loosing nancy almost as much as him. But she didn't know about her body. Nancy's missing body. Kellen walked over to a small almost seemingly unimportant filing cabinet and pulled out a binder. Kellen smiled at the silly wrapping of white and srilly stuff that nancy put on it. Kellen walked over with it, sitting next to both females and opened the book. the first picture was of him and nancy on a date, both hand in hand on a dance floor. Kellen smirked, seeing that picture for the first time in many years. Kellen flipped the page, and more picture of him and nancy. It went like that for five pages till it showed a picture of his in a tuxedo and Nancy in a wedding dress. Kellen felt a lump rise in his throat at that site. She was so beautiful. Kellen flipped the page, letting claire see all of it and held a finger to his lips for quiet. Kellen flipped it again, showing him and Nancy on there honeymoon, his and her in the council, and other random ones. Then when she was pregnant with kylar.

Kellen smirked at that, seeing Nancy with her swollen belly and smiling as he took the picture. Kllen flipped the page, this time the same thing. It was like that for four pages till it showed a hospital and Nancy in a wheel chair, being pushed down the hall. Then one of then in the room with kellen holding her shoulder as Nancy held a baby boy. Kellen smiled at that. His son. they grew up so fast. well, to him they did.

Kellen flipped through the pages, now most of them with kylar as a toddler in them but Nancy and him were through them all. Kellen smiled, seeing kylar holding a knife, kylar in his wolf form and running around and picking up the kitchen table as a toddler.

the pictures showed kylar growing up, but then Kai was intrudeced, and there were pictures of both kylar and kai plating together, kai banging kylar on the head with a toy, Kylar and kai playing outside, the usual kid stuff. kai smirked at the picture of her and kylar both in a tree and refusing to come down for Nancy and kellen.

The pictures turned to where nancy was once agian pregnant, but this time she was paler, and looked sick. The pictures skipped time to where she was in the hospital again, then to a picture of kage and bella in Kellen's arms. Kellen held back his own sobs and flipped the page to show a grave yard. He was in a tux again(gods he hated those) and it showed an open grave with a coffin being lowered. then him kneeling in front of the gravestone, looking defeated as the words Nancy Alloy were plainly seen on the stone.

Kellen closed the book after a second that they could all see it and said," Nancy is dead Claire. My mate is dead some 45 years ago when she gave birth to Bella and Kage. It still pains me." Kellen held the book with white knuckles, almost if afraid it would vanish. He handed the book to claire if she wanted to see it as kai pulled her face from Her mom's shoulder. For a rather small book, it held a life time.

Kylar nodded at her comment, missing his mother a ton. He knew that Bella had never seen their mother except for picture. Kylar looked at the locket she held and shuddered. something about it was just...... wrong. Kylar thought about it for a second, and he got it. the pictures of Kage and bella. those were not baby pictures. it was from when they were like 30 or something. that ment who ever took it added those pics. kind of strange. Kylar shivered again, hearing dad's voice and knew what was going on."I miss her," Kylar said, admitting it.

[Claire Alloy]

Page by page she saw it all. She smiled, and almost cried, and almost laughed too. Then the end of it was a hard note of melancholy. Kellen said it after she realized just what that meant. Nancy, her best friend, protector, and family member... was dead. It hit like a slap to the face. Kai finally unburied her face, as Claire took it. She softly touched the covering, definably Nancy's work. "I'm so sorry..." Claire looked down at it with tears in her eyes. Why did she have to miss so much? It didn't seem fair...

Nancy had been a wonderful friend. When Claire got teased for her accent, Nancy would walk right over and beat up those jerks. It was really funny how childish, and tom-boyish Nancy could be when they were growing up. Nancy was always like a big sister to Claire. When Nancy left she left a huge whole, and Claire missed her like crazy. Shortly after she met her own mate. Then the drama with Claire's own life happened. So it seemed both of them had gone through a struggle. Claire was happy that Kai knew Nancy. It made her very happy.

Claire wrapped an arm around Kai. "Nancy was so wonderful, I'm very happy you got to be with her." She then sighed, wondering how she was going to end up dealing with this mourning. It was tiring. It weighed heavy on her mind. She didn't really know what to say besides that. What else was there to say? "Kai, you can come by anytime. If you want to know anything, anything at all, just ask." She concluded, since she wasn't sure where to start.

Bella looked at her big brother, and grabbed his hand and squeezed it when he said he missed their mother. She looked at him with blue crystal eyes, and seemed to understand completely. She ached for a mother she had never really known all the time. Bella then looked up at the pony. "Everyday I'm shuffling!" She bobbed her head as if actually listening to the song and then gave Kylar a small smile. Hoping to cheer him up a little.

[Kellen Setos]

Kellen nodded at the sorry, and almost felt a tear escape his eyes as she said she was glad they meet her. Kellen nodded, closing his eyes and a ragged breath escaped his mouth, and then a more steady one came in through his nose. He was back in control. his eyes went to greifing husband/father to cold cold high alpha. He had to. he couldn't show weakness. Not around the ones he loved. Well, His family. He never spent that much tie around Claire, so he couldn't be sure. But that made it worse. Showing weakness to someone not that close was just as bad if not worse.

Kellen got up as Kai let go of her mother, nodding her head and said," Wait, come by? Can't you stay here?!?! Please! i just meet you. I don't want you to leave." Kellen looked up, tilting his head and said," we have a spare room upstairs, or we can always make space." With willow and ken now bunking here, with Himself, Kylar Bella and Kai as well, it was slightly cramped at the table, more so with east, Sythe, always invited over for dinner and training here with Kylar. Busy busy busy. Sometimes, Kellen wished he could take them all, all of them, and run away from them and live in peace. But no. his people needed him. Kellen wouldn't abandoned them. Not again.

Kai looked up at her mother, then up and down and almost smiled, asking," Why are you such a tom girl?" Kellen rolled his eyes, that comment lightning the mode. Kai always had the gift. or curse. what ever. She would always ask what was at heart."And also, I want to know Everything! what are your favorite colors, your favorite hotty actor, music, everything," Kai said, leaning on her mother again and Kellen laughed. Kai shot him a look but Kellen laughed again. She did the same to Nancy when she was sucking up. It was just so.... innocent and normal Kai, it lightened the mode.

Kylar looked at his sister in surprise, then laughed. Kylar head his father laughing inside and his laughter stopped, but his smile stayed."Thank you ella bella. I needed that. now, lets go inside and meet our aunt again." Kylar got up, towering over his little sister and took her hand and walked her back inside. At least the crying feast was over.

When Kylar walked inside, when he saw kai cuddling up to her mother, he was torn in between going over and laying a protecting hand over her shoulder, and laughing. So he did both. Kylar walked over, letting go of Bella's hand next to Kellen and walked over to Kai as she started to rant off stuff to Aunt Claire. Kylar laid a hand on her shoulder, chuckling as Kai took his had in hers and then dug her nails into his flesh. Kylar yelped as blood came to his hand and growled at Kai, who stuck her tongue out at him. Kylar rolled his eyes, licking the back of his hand and making the wounds heal before everyone's eyes. Kai wore that smug expression of her's, teasing him. Kylar sighed, saying," Your unbelievable." Kellen laughed.

[Claire Alloy]

Obviously Claire wasn't gonna feel comfortable refusing her child's first slightly weird request. She smiled, and worried about her home. She didn't want to pester Kellen's family by moving in with them, but she didn't want to part with Kai very much either. Would Kellen be okay with her moving in? It didn't take long for her to find out as Kellen gave her an option to board here. "If it doesn't bother y'all." She said and then smiled, and nuzzled Kai, as if she were in wolf form.

Claire heard a question she had not been expecting. A tomboy? Claire didn't think that way but maybe she was? "Well, I guess I'm not like y'all. I was taught its fiiiinnneee to get as dirty as Bessy as long as you clean up 'fore supper time." She said, and for some reason her accent got even worse. When Claire heard herself she realized that they may not actually have understood a word she just said... She had a funny feeling she was in for more teasing about her cowgirl thing. She couldn't help it though! That was just who she was.

Claire laughed as Kai went on a rampage about how she wanted to know everything. Claire tried to answer most of the questions she was just asked quickly. "Orange and Palomino are my favorite colors. I don't think I have a thang on any of the actors. I love country and western. I'm sure you'll have time to bombarrrrddd me with questions, but I also want to know about you."

Bella smiled that she can make her big brother laugh. He lead the way back inside, and she looked at Claire. She was very pretty and she looked like Bella's mother. It was a remarkable resemblance for just cousins. More like sisters Bella wanted to say. Bella was going to call her Aunt Claire though! Bella stayed back, standing by Kellen, as she took in the view of her big sister, her brother and her new aunt. It was going to be a big change.

Claire had a worried expression as Kai acted violently against her brother. She then remembered how Nancy used to do weird stuff like that. She then smiled at Bella, and Bella grinned back. "Auntie Claire will you show me how to be a cowgirl like you?" She said with a grin. Claire laughed at this question. "Your gonna have to get up eeeeaaarrrllllyyyy in the morning sweetie, if you really wanna be a cowgirl." She smiled looking at Kai as if asking if Kai would like to come hang out with her and the horses. Bella grinned, "Yeah, I will get up before the sun! Then I will get to ride a pony!" She said and then looked at Kellen with a huge grin plastered on her face. Bella's eyes were huge and blue and she looked like a firework about to go off in a tangle of excited sparks. It was really sort of cute.

[Kellen Setos]

Kellen smirked as Kylar's reaction and nodded, and asked," You know what that means." Kellen watched as most if not all the heads in the room looked at him and he let the suspense hang there for a second. he smirked, liking it and said," Welcome to the pack Claire." Kellen laughed as Kai squalled like a little girl and hugged her mother. Course, it was up to Claire is she wanted in or not."If you want," Kellen said, a smile touching his face as he leaned again the wall and Kylar rolled his eyes. Kai looked at her mom and," Oh you have you. Please!" She gave her those puppy eyes that many found hard to resist. Kellen and Kylar both knew that look and knew it to mostly be false and devious.

Kellen looked at Bella as she said she wanted to be a cow girl and chuckled, saying," I am not getting you a pony." Course, with her puppy dog eyes, he just might end up getting one. Kellen looked up, then away as Kai was giving him the same begging eyes.

Kylar chuckled, knowing it wouldn't be long before his father cracked. He knew his sisters had him wrapped around there finger when it came to little stuff like this. Heck, even willow could if she wasn't so humble. Kylar thought of the little street urchin, wondering where his little adoptive sister was. It was funny how things ended up. Course, His father had a thing for strays. Kylar smirked as Kai piped up," Come on Kellen. Please!" she asked, indicating the horse. Kylar rolled his eyes at his sisters. He didn't care about the relationship of blood between him and Kai. He considered her a sister through and through.

Kai smiled, seeing Kellen's reasons going and smiled, leaving the rest to Bella. She still had the cute edge." Me, I like skating," She said, holding her foot up and the wheels on her feet for her mother to see. "Course, Kellen paid someone to put a motor in them so they do this," And pushed her toes forward as if leaning forward and the wheels started to turn fast, like a car almost. Kai put her booted leg down. She was wearing her skirt with about mid thigh skin tight boot skates. She loved these things.

[Claire Alloy]

Claire was living alone at the moment. She was in this packs' territory but she didn't have anyone else living with her. She had a feeling this was going to be a pretty crowded house, but she could live with that. she smiled and nodded . Then said in her ever strong accent, "I'm willing to join y'all." She said, and smiled wrapping her arms around Kai. Claire laughed as the girls started asking to have ponies and horses and be cowgirls. It was hilarious, and she couldn't help it.

"Well girls having a cow pony is hard work. You have to get up early AND you have to get dirty and do work." She pulled up a sleeve and flexed, showing that she was actually very tough since she had quite the gun on her arm. Bella's jaw dropped and her eyes went huge. "Wow Claire! Your amazing!" She said and then giggled. Bella ran over and attached herself to Claire in an embrace. Claire felt like she was about to be knocked over if anyone else joined this group hug. she also thought she might not be able to breathe if the girls squeezed any harder. She loved every moment of it though.

It seemed the girls really wanted to do this. Claire spoke up after Kai begged her father. "Why don't you girls help me with my horse, and then you can tell me how you feel about it and we'll see about getting y'all cow ponies. Mind you, horses aren't toys, they're living breathing creatures and require a lot of attention. You can't be scared of them either." Bella looked up at Claire with a grave look on her face. She took a step back and inspected the ceiling with a look of determination on her face. "I think I can do it. I think I can do it. I think i can do it." She started mumbling and then suddenly ran up stairs to her room still muttering that phrase over and over again. Claire watched her go with an insanely curious look on her face...

"What's little lady up to?" She asked looking at the others to see if they had any idea. She obviously didn't know what was going on. Bella had gone upstairs to get her encyclopedia of horses and she was also looking for her drawing notebook where she drew her cartoon-y doodles. Most of them were my little ponies and kittens and puppies. rummaging around in her room it didn't take her too long to find it. Bella's room looked like it belonged to a neat freak but she organized it so often and rearranged things that she sometimes forgot where things were.

Bella ran back down and right up to Claire in a blur of werewolf speed. When she came back she had her hair all messed up and her eyes were bigger and bluer then ever. "I found it! I found it!" she chimed as she set them out on the coffee table for Claire to look at. The encyclopedia was set to a Clydesdale. Claire looked at it and Bella announced something. "I want to try riding that kind of horse!" She said grinning. Claire gave Bella a worried look and then looked at the drawings. "Wow Bella your great!" she proclaimed. Bella grinned, "Thank you!"

Kai showed Claire her wheels and Claire went a bit pale. "Please promise me you won't ride anymore without a helmet and pads?" She said. She would hate to see her baby all scraped up or hurt. That would be terrible!
