Kellen surveyed the report of there losses and sighed. They had lost to many good wolves during that last attack, and finding his wife had defiantly done a lot for him and Claire. Kellen had started feeling something a little more then friendship between him and Claire starting, But now Nancy was back in the picture, it was awkward. And now that kylar knew his mother was alive, it was worse on moral for his son. And now his troops know it, that the rose didn't have their old queen hostage, which would enrage them and cause them to want to attack, It decreased their moral to where they all realized that the rose could turn them into turics. It was really bad. And the fact they still didn't have Kage back. Kellen saw what took him; a small army of what looked like trained solders, but still had no idea who they were. He contacted all his allies; Lloyd, Kyo's council, some demons and some other people he knew inside the city. No one had seen him. It was frustrating. Not one of his informants or spys knew who had him now, or no one knew what they had. Kellen hoped for the second, because then it would be a mistake, not traitorous.
Kellen sighed, and got up from his chair, listening. He was in his house, looking at all the war reports. He heard Kylar training Kai in the back yard again. He thought bella was with Claire, but he had last seen Claire in the make-shift hospital after he had a speed wolf carry her back in front of his main invasion force. She had needed it to. Kellen rubbed his slightly graying hair. It only went grey when He was stressed out like this. Otherwise it was jet black. Were's really didn't get old. They died to fast. Luckily his race was as bad as humans in the breeding department, otherwise they might have died out a long time ago.
Kellen walked outside, seeing Kylar pinning Kai to the ground till she tapped out and applauded. "Thought you had him there kai," He teased. Kellen chuckled at her sour face as her clothes were tarnished with mud and dirt. Kylar still looked clean though, so it made it even more funnier. Kylar glared at his father a second and then looked away, saying," were done for the day Kai. Go clean up." Kai huffed then ran inside for a shower and for her skates. Kellen looked at his son and sighed. It seemed he did a lot of sighing these days.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Kylar asked. Kellen knew what he was talking about. "Because i didn't know for sure. I knew they took her body, that is it. I didn't know they could bring her back, But apparently they could and did." Kellen left the part out about her now being zane's wife. That hurt enough. More then her being with the rose. She had born him a child, one that she cared for more then her other children. Kellen knew that kylar didn't know about the child, for he didn't tell him. They would meet soon enough. most likely in the worst conditions. Kellen Didn't blame the child though. No one chooses their parents. Kellen walked over and put his hand on his son's shoulder's. "We'll get her back. don't worry." But, he was afraid of getting her back twisted and cruel, or back the same way they left her?
Notes;; orio, can you post your characters here? also, anyone in the rebel camp free to post. Kellen needs winds and officers.

Bella had spent lots of time with Aunt Claire lately. It wasn't exactly for the kinds of reasons you would hope for, but Bella would have picked those reasons any day. Instead of riding ponies with her cowgirl aunt, Bella had been taking care of her a bit. During the mission, her aunt had been injured pretty badly. It was a good thing that the bullet didn't hit her spine, or Claire might have been paralyzed. Instead she took a lot of other damages, but she would recover. Once her ribs and internal organs finished healing... Werewolves heal faster than humans, so instead of being out for a few months, Claire would probably take a month tops to fully recover, but would be good enough to walk around and handle herself by now. Bella was being so helpful to her aunt, Claire appreciated the assistance.
Bella helped Claire down the stairs, and they entered the living room. Claire sat down, and Bella scurried off to get Claire a glass of water. Bella had been the equivalent of a shadow lately for Claire. After that, Bella told Claire she would go outside to check on her brother and dad. Claire nodded, understanding that Bella was pretty nurse like. She checked on all her patients, and was always worried about how they were feeling. Claire couldn't really tell how Bella was even handling all of this. She seemed pretty melancholic at times, but Claire hadn't witnessed any crying, or angry outbursts, or anything. Claire had been pretty emotional at first, but with Bella around it was pretty calming. Again Clarie couldn't be more thankful for the little girl's company. With Nancy being still alive... Well it was confusing Claire more than she could imagine it would have ever confused her. To see Nancy acting like that... Hurting the people she loved? Claire didn't know how to respond to that. Then there was all the family complications. She knew about Nancy and Zane, it was disgusting but Claire honestly believed that the SRA had forced her to that. They just brainwashed her and twisted her like all the other Turics.
Bella stood behind the door and listened to her father and brother's conversation. Exchanging looks with her sister as she ran into Kai, and then after a bit more ease dropping she came out from the house and stepped into the back yard. she didn't look at either of them directly, more so at the ground then anything. she had been a bit out of character lately, so melancholic, it wasn't her normal behavior. "I came to check on you guys, Claire is up. Did you want to eat lunch?" she stood there waiting for a response. Her blue eyes slowly drifting up towards them...

Kylar felt his lip quiver for a second, and his eyes water, and for a second, his real mental age showed. A scared teenager. Kylar was terrified and scared for him mom, and his family. That inward self showed for another second, till a softer female voice ran out.
Kylar hardened, the wolf of the west back and in terrifying presence. Kylar might only be sixty-one(around 17-18 mentally human years) years old, but he was wiser and tougher beyond his years. Kylar and and his father looked at his little sister, both of them way taller then her but Kylar gave a small smile, saying," Lunch would be nice. I am pretty sure Kai would like some after her shower." Kylar walked inside, leaving Bella and Kellen there.
Kellen looked at his his daughter as his son walked past her. Kylar looked back at him and mouthed," She knows, you moron," and walked inside. Kellen looked down, Catching Bella's eyes and walked over to her. he knelt, looking her in the eye and asked," You know, huh?" It was pasted all over her eyes. Kellen wrapped his daughter in a hug, letting her know he was here for her. Kellen didn't know what to say. Bella and Kage had never known Nancy, Only him as a parent. So how to say that your long dead mother, who died giving birth to you, who your father told the best stories about, was alive and with their father's enemy? that is awkward, and just a little bit life shattering.
Kylar walked inside, rubbing between his eyes, a head ache brewing. Kylar saw his aunt sitting at the table and walked over, asking," You doing ok? A knife to the diaphrame is never an easy blow to take." Kylar knew about that. When his dad had been injured by zane, the main blows were to his head, throat, and diaphaim.
Kylar walked past his aunt, going into the kitchen as he heard the shower starting upstairs. He was glad not to be training her. She was getting worse, not better, and more frustrated with it all to begain with. Kylar sighed, a feeling of dread about her future.
"Aunt Claire........... What can you tell me about Mom?" kylar asked. He knew it was a painful for both of them, but he had to know. Kylar head his dad outside with his sister, and he wished that he could spar bella from it, But unlike his dad, he could see that bella would have to go through the same training as Kai sooner or later. No one in this family was safe anymore. Not while the Rose could make turics. The one thing he remembered about his mother was she was stubborn, and always got her with with his father. And then revived her and made her love zane?!?!? Kylar felt the glass shatter in his hand, gladd going everywhere in the sink. Kylar looked at his ruined and bleeding hand and scowled. There was glass in it everywhere. Kylar started to pick the peicesout, saying," I got this."
When the last peice was out, Kylar pooled a bunch of spit on his tounge and did a wet lick of his hand. His cuts stungapon his flesh, but then it started to knit together. "No biggy," he thought, looking at his aunt. He looked at the glass on the floor and scowled, going for the broom. "I hate this," he said, picking up the item. he wasn't talking about the glass.
FINISHED
Notes;; kylar is going to snap soon. ^^

Bella's eyes stayed averted as she heard her brother's response. She nodded, and knew that he walked past her and into the house. Bella could basically smell how upset he was. She felt... Did she know how she felt? Really, did she have any idea? She felt sick really. Infected with guilt, she had always felt somewhat responsible for her mother's death. Now her mother was alive, but didn't even come back to see her children once. Was it Bella's fault again? Did her mother hate her for killing her? Bella had been facing these questions in her head, and her schizophrenia seemed to quickly be claiming more and more tiny pieces of her sanity. She had been out of character lately, melancholic.
Bella nodded, she would make sure to get lunch for Kai ready... Kellen would approach her, their eyes would meet as he got down to her level. Her mouth twitched to a frown as she was asked about her knowledge. She took a deep breath, "How could I not?" Her crystal blue eyes reflected a sadness from them, but it was a bit darker then that. She wasn't sad in the way they probably thought she was, how would they know she was contemplating whether her mother hated her? It seemed that Nancy hated all of them now, she had threatened Kylar, injured Claire, and confronted Kellen. Bella started shuddering, she couldn't even help it anymore.
Just as she started shuddering, Kellen wrapped his arms around her. Bella started shaking worse, she had no idea why... What was going wrong with her now? "Does she hate me too?" Bella squeaked, she could hardly even say it. She wanted to believe her mother would love her, be proud of her... Now she worried her mother hated her, even if they had never really met. The only thing she didn't know about was the boy. Nancy's new offspring, the one she was choosing over everything else. If Bella knew that, it might shatter her.
Claire was inside with Kylar now. She looked at him, she could imagine that he was just as her. They had gone through something terrible together, and she figured he may have taken it worse then she did. Claire had dealt with hardship before, and was an adult who could handle it now. Claire still remembered what it was like to be young, and have something devastating rip you apart. She could empathize easily with him. She watched him enter, and she smiled meekly as he asked her about her condition. "I'm doing alright. Thanks to Bella, she has helped me a lot."
She could see it coming. It was still hard to hear though. Claire to a deep breath, well as deep as she could manage with her broken body. She watched as Kylar went over to the sink, and shattered a glass in his hand. She started to speak, watching as he pulled out the glass form his flesh. "Nancy, she was alive. That wasn't Nancy though, not my Nancy..." She paused to breathe. "I don't even want to know what they've done to her..." With that Claire had ears rolling down her cheeks. She was aware of so much, and she didn't really know if she should be telling Kylar this. The tears streamed as she continued, "I know that Nancy is now Zane's mate. That she is a Turic. She was transparently brainwashed into hating most of us or something. I don't know why she would have attacked me and threatened you otherwise, the only reason she didn't kill us was because some piece of her is still left. I don't think she is completely gone, I think they just twisted something, and made her make all these horrid decisions. Maybe she is just as trapped there as your brother was..."
Claire bit her lip, she wasn't sure if she should share this last part. Was Kylar going to be able to take this? "I'm only telling you because you asked me to tell you everything. Your old enough to know... Nancy and Zane... have offspring. I didn't see the child, and Kellen was vague on details, but I know he is there. Who knows what kind of monster the boy is? The SRA could have made a worse monster then Zane..." Claire stopped, taking slow, steady breaths. This hurt so much, she could barely take it. Tears rolled down a billion a minute. They were silent tears though, like a faucet was running really.Claire closed her eyes as she heard Kylar say that he hated this. She hated it too.

Kellen Was happy he had one bit of good news to tell her. "Actually, on that note, I beg to differ," kellen said, seperating their embrace and looked his daughter in the eyes. "Your mother was quiet...... Worry about you when she thought you might be at the rose with us when we attacked. In fact, I think her exact words were ,"I swear I'll kill you if she is here to!" Kellen chuckled, thinking of that. Those words did carve deep. It showed she still cared for her children at least, even the ones that never met her, if not the father. Kellen looked at His daughter, seeing how his words weren't reaching her and picked up the necklace at her neck. "Look here," Kellen said, opening it and showing the pictures. It was of Kylar as a child, and Bella and kage from maybe 5 to seven years ago. "I didn't take that picture, So she must have. Bella, Your mother has seen you, and enough to carry this around her neck for a time. She still loves all her children, Espessally you my little ella bella." Kellen's mouth twitched upwards at that, the use of his little pet name for her and leaned in, kissing her forhead. "Don't worry. I swear, Before this war is over, You will have your mother back." Kellen was just hoping the cost wasn't a sibling. If it was a father, hemight be willing to pay that. (BTW, i am not killing kellen off. just drama) Kylar frowned, listning to his aunt talk of his mom. Gods, He hated Zane. he understood that he was his kellen's half wolf, but it was damn frustrating. He wanted to kill him, But knew his father was honor bound to do it himself. Kylar finished cleaning up the glass, listening and held the dustban in one hand and the broom in the other. He was half way to the garbage can when he heard the last bit of what Claire said. He froze, his eyes wide and blood still on his hand. "She..... Had Zane's Child? ?" Kylar asked, In the broom snapped in half in his fist. Kylar could see the little monster in his mind's eye, snug next to His mom and the father monster, and His mom loving him more, and then threatning his life. Kylar gave a cry of angust, and his fist flailed out, Punching the wall. Kylar's fist vs the wall. his fist won. Kylar's hand went through the wall, reaching the other side before quickly being drawn back. Kylar's fist lashed out, faster then any strength wolf should be able to do as the wall fell. Kylar jumped through the hole, and shifted, his clothes shreading to peices under his transformation. His yellow eyes streamed a tear, and hatred for his father's half wolf. A howl of rage ran out, And kylar lunched himself at the closest thing. It happened to be an apple tree in the back yard. Kellen Turned as he heard the wall coming down, And saw his son walking out of it. "Bella, get inside. Now," he said, his voice unbending steal as he pulled his shirt off. He didn't want his clothes ruined. He did turn so for modesty sake, then the transformation started. Fur quickly covered him, and he grew. Kellen threw himself at his son before he killed the tree and pinned him. Jaws flashed, and claws seared through flesh. Kellen felt his son' claws tear across his face and leave a long gash, but it cost him his footing. Kellen grabbed his son's limbs and pinned them to the ground. Kylar thrashed, But kellen held him fast. Kylar's thrashing's grew less and less over 5minutes, to where it was Kellen pinning kylar to the ground, while Kylar just breathed under him. "I'm ok now," kylar mumbled out, shifting to human form. Kellen let go of him, shifting back to. Kylar's clothes were in rags under him, and kellen grabbed his pants, putting them on. "What did the apple tree do to you?" Kellen asked, sarcastic as hje noticed he dumpedis shirt in mud. great. Kylar glared at him, and kellen softened his gaze back. "Look, yiou can't just dystroy our house when you feel like it. Anyways, I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Kylar looked back at his father, and explouded again. "YOUR SORRY?!? THAT IS A LOAD OF BULL!" Kylar yelled, walking over to his father. "YOU ALWAYS KEEP INFORMATION TO YOURSELF! WHAT AM I? THE JOKE OF THE WEST? I THOUGHT I WAS A WIND, AND I THINK EVEN IF I WASN'T, I SHOULD KNOW AS YOUR SON!" Kellen didn't move as Kylar yelled, and looked at his son with steel eyes. Kylar flinched. "You will never talk to me like that again in public. Ever," kellen said, his voice ringing out. Kellen wanted to remove Kylar's posision of wind on the spot, but knew he couldn't. Kellen Stared kylar down and said," Such words deem a challage kylar." kylar Looked at His father with wide eyes, and he said," dad, I didn't mean it like that." Kellen looked at his son, then sighed. "Inside. We will talk there. Not out here. where everyone can hear us." Kellen lead his son inside as Kai came running down the stair, dressed and looking like she was ready to go out on the town. "Kai, stay in camp. No going out farther today." Kai was about to protest, then she saw the hole in the wall and shut up, looking at Kylar. "Not now," he said, sitting on the couch and put his head in his hands. He was tired. Kellen sat down on a chair that remained, looking at Claire and said," kylar, this is an order. your staying home for the rest of the day. Rest and recover. Youv'e done none of that since we got back. " kellen rubbed his face, smirking at he felt the mark that his son put on his face matched perfectly with his old scar, only now it was deeper. It had healed though with the transformation. "Claire, I would like to talk to you outside. Please." Kellen got up and walked over to her, offering his hand to her and helped her up, walking outside. "Kai, bella, can you make sure he does gets some rest. I leave him in your hands. that is also an order West," he said, giving a small smile at his son as he realized he was left to do as Kai told him. he could see that Kylar was about to respond but closed the door. "Are you ok for a horse ride?" kellen asked, looking around. In all honesty, He felt like he was going to collapse, and a horse ride was the last thing he needed. But right now, he needed someone to confess his own feelings, no one evsdropping on him(which in his house, was was a rare thing). And telling Claire was the only one he had to tell, seeing as she had no rank, and telling his winds........ he couldn't tell them this. It would cause moral to drop. Notes;; I spent an hour typing this up.

Bella stood their listening to her father. It made her want to smile, but she wasn't sure if this was true. No, her father wouldn't lie to her, but it seemed to good to be true. Could her Mom really care that much? Bella felt tears finally rolling down her cheeks, and then Kellen picked up the locket and opened it. Bella looked at the picture, and his words finally made a real impact. He was right, she smiled at him, and covered her face with her left hand, the right hand clutched around the locket now. She quickly turned her head as she heard the wall going down, and as her father told her to go in the house she followed orders immediately.
Bella and Vlaire both heard the commotion outside. Bella ran over to Claire's side, panic in her eyes. Bella looked like she was about to ask, what happened? Claire shook her head, she didn't know what to say. This all seemed to happen so quickly. Bella turned her head as Kellen and Kylar came back in soon after. Soon Kellen was giving everyone orders, and Kai was down stairs as well. They were all given tasked to do, and Bella couldn't help but feel that her brother Kylar was in plenty of trouble now. She hoped she hadn't caused any of the trouble. Bella always sort of felt like things were her fault, but she didn't ask. Instead she just did whatever Kai told her to do, since she had never been one to boss anyone around. How could Bella tell her big brother what to do? Kai was going to have to be in charge, and Bella would just help however she could. All the stress in the house was crazy! Bella just hoped everyone's fur would be smoothed out quickly. Bella watched Claire leave with Kellen, a bit of worry in her eyes. Claire shouldn't be moving around so much quite yet, so Bella was still pretty much just being the worried nurse.
Claire followed Kellen out, holding his hand for support. She felt like the "little" mess int he back yard was all her fault. Maybe it hadn't been her best idea to tell her nephew about his mother's new child, but he had the right to know. Claire heard Kellen ask if she was up to riding horses. She smirked, it was a very optimistic question. "I don't think either of us can saddle up right now, but I know a spot we can talk." Claire's hand gripped onto his hand a bit tighter, and now she led the way at a comfortable pace for herself. She couldn't exactly run off right now, she needed to be resting right now really, but she didn't mind a little bit of pushing it if Kellen needed to talk.
She led him over to the barn, past the last stall with her favorite horse nickering welcomes. The scent of sweet alfalfa and dust filled her nostrils. She sat down on a hay bale, and looked at Kellen. Her blue eyes rested on his face, her lip lifted up at the corner in a quirky smile. She wiped her eye, getting rid of a bit of moisture left over there. "I guess I made a big mess of things again... Guess we need to talk, don't worry Katniss ain't gonna tell no one." She knocked on the wood of her horse's stall. The horse nickered and looked out of the stall, and then went back to eating. Claire knew that she felt a lot more comfortable here in a barn, it was home for her really. Kellen, well she didn't know him as well as she hoped she would, but she could tell that he was a good person. Right now, a lot of bad stuff was happening to good people. She was here to listen though, and maybe they could figure out some of this big ol' mess together?

Kellen follow Claire, not really talking much. He just felt drained. Really drained, like everything was slowly taking a toll on his soul. He felt Claire's hand enter his and he gave a small smile that vanished fast.
As they entered the barn, Kellen closed the door behind him. Not really for privacy, but so no one could see him. Kellen crossed the floor, looking at the horses with no emotion on his face. It was to much these days.
Kellen sat down in a bale across from Claire's, and all his bravo went out of him. He looked like an old man, tired from what he had to do. He heard Claire's comment, but he just needed a second. He closed his eyes, letting his head fall forward as he just breathed. Kellen Needed moments like this, just sitting down, not worrying about his people or his kids, not stressing over food supplies, not worrying about his wife or Zane. It had been all boiling up.
"Don't worry about that. That was expected, sooner or later. Kylar........ he is a smart kid; smarten then I was at his age, and would have found out eventually. I just wish that no one had to see it. The news would is probably all over camp right now though, that the wolf of the west snapped at his father, the high alpha." Kellen put his head back in his hands, rubbing between his eyes. that was the problem with being the high alpha. Your image did matter. Everyone looked to you for guidance, and you had to deliver it, or be unseated.
"I'm sorry i dragged you out here. In your condition, you shouldn't be moving, but, i can't go telling the council this, nor can i be telling my children ether my worries. I have to be strong for them, all the wolves that still look to me as high alpha. I can't let them see weakness." Or else the vultures started circling. In more ways then one.
"It's just......... I am so tired of this war right now. The rose played this so well for humans, thinking almost 50 years ahead? that is almost unheard of in humans. They took Nancy. I have so many mixed feelings about this, I am so confused on it. I can't think of a way to get her back, even though I promised Bella I would get her back, get her mother back," Kellen said, a small tear streaming down his face. His figure read exhaustion and sadness. Kellen Looked up, meeting Claire's eyes. His eyes read more sadness, confusion, dread, and yet, steel. Not wanting pity, yet seeking compassion. Something a high alpha never could seek. A high alpha had to walk alone in most things, be the strongest, and lead. They couldn't seek help. They had to be the answer. Kellen lost his answer.
Kai looked at kylar, a mischievous smirk on her face, But then noticed he was asleep. Kai frowned and walked over, checking his breathing. "Damn, he is asleep," she said, seeing as he tipped over as was out on the couch. She smiled, and said," lets get him a blanket or something." Kai turned, heading for the closet of spar beddings and handed on to Bella. "How about we draw on his face?" she asked, joking around. She wasn't serous though, it and showed.

Claire sat with her hands on folded in her lap. Nothing fancy, she was still leaning against the hay, and her posture wasn't near perfect. She listened to Kellen, a thoughtful expression on her face. He was right, the media was a big problem for such important people. Claire was not used to that yet, she had always been a nobody, Nancy's shadow growing up, and not long after that... Claire pretty much did disappear. Claire nodded, "That's true... But this will smooth over, your people love you. Everyone makes mistakes, and I think Kylar will be smart enough in the future to not make this mistake again. I guess we all made a mistake this time around, but who doesn't have family problems now and then? Anyone who is judging you on this little fiasco is a flee-bitten fool." She smiled a little, hoping that maybe if he looked at it that way he would find some silver lining.
When she heard him apologize for dragging her out here she shook her head. She understood that he needed this, "It's alright. I was fixin on coming out here to get some air anyway... Y'all know you can talk to me anytime. These are some tough times, but if your goin through hell, you just keep on goin. You'll be out 'fore the devil knows your there." She was off in her country sayings again. It was true though, he would make it through. Claire knew Kellen was strong enough to handle all this. Even if he was doubting himself right now.
She listened, and she heard him go on about what he needed to say. Claire understood it, she was confused too. Never in her day had she thought it would come to all this, and she was tired of this war too. "We'll get her mama back. Nancy loves those kids more than anything in the world, nothing can keep a mama from her babies. I don't have any idea what we'll do right now, but I reckon we'll figure it out." She reached her hand out for him to hold. She was his friend, and she'd be here for him. Sure, she knew she wasn't capable of giving him what he needed, and she doubted anyone could. What he was going through, was his own journey.
Inside, Bella was surprised to see that Kylar was already asleep. He had probably been exhausted by all this, outside she thought she heard the media people sniffing around the house. They were so annoying, being so nosy. Bella wished they would go away, she knew it would be easier on her family if they did. But of course, the media didn't care and they came. Thank goodness they didn't have the gall to knock on the door and do interviews. Bella noticed Kai up to mischief again, and sighed. This really wasn't the time for that, but then Bella realized that Kai really wasn't going to do anything. However, it had given Bella an idea. "I'll grab a blanket." Bella said quietly, walking off and coming back with a quilt and a sharpie. She spread the quilt over Kylar's sleeping form, and then pulled the cap off the sharpie. Bella looked up at Kai, and put a finger to her lips to warn her to be quiet. Bella carefully took Kylar's hand, and wrote on it, "We love you. Just keep shuffling." Bella put the lid back on the pen, and pointed to his hand to see if Kai liked what she had put down. Bella was just trying to cheer her big brother up, she knew it wasn't easy what they were going through, she had no idea about her new sibling, but knowing the rest was enough to drive anyone a little nuts.

Kellen saw Claire's hand reached out and took it, holding tight to her hand and said," Thank you. It is not every day I can vent what I am feeling. There is no one to vent to." Kellen stood up and sat next to her in the same hay bale, just enough room. "Do you mind if we just sit here for a while? Just, talk about anything but this war?" Kellen felt his muscles de-tense as he felt the smell or horse hair and wind calm his nerves. He was dreading having to go before the were council later. They would know about Kylar's outburst, and demand to know about the rumors of Nancy. The council was the only people that could get a high alpha to do what they wanted, because even though they had no power over him, They had the media and the image with them. The werewolf population responded to them as much as they responded to him, and admitting he didn't have a plan about the situation was bad and a weakness that he couldn't admit.
"Claire, what would you do about this? I am so out of all this." He didn't tell her about the council meeting, for if she didn't already know, there was no point worrying her. Kellen felt her hand in his, but didn't change it as he leaned back, resting his head against the hay. It actually felt good. He smirked, some more tension leaving his body as he calmed his mind.
Kai read what her little cousin wrote on his hand, and smiled. It was nice. "I think it is good, and a good reminder for him. But," Kai walked over, taking the marker and then leaned over, writing another knote on his other hand that said," No more stupid stunts, K? -kai." her little note. Kai watcher his older cousin sleep on, and said softy," and here I was looking forward to being the one to telling him what to do for once." Kai smirked at that, then quietly walked over and looked at the hole in the wall and saw a wolf coming closer, and she smirked. She pressed forward on her skates, and zipped out, her speeding going super fast. She zipped around the curious young wolf so fast a whiplash effect happened as she pushed him back on his a** and then back inside. "Damn onlookers. When is the construction team getting here?" She asked as a small team of wolves, all in construction gear, showed up and started laying down wooden and metal planks, willing with concrete and other stuff, fixing the wiring and what not. Kai frowned at the noise and turned to Bella, then Kylar and asked," Do you think we can lift him up the stairs?" She didn't want to.

Willow had her mind blocked off from the surrounding world. She was set on helping some of the injured soldiers. She had not been chosen to join the battle. She didnt mind much since she didnt like violence alot. She had been busy trying to carry some of the injured soldiers up to the hospittal building. She also helped move some of the dead bodies across the yeard for the moarners. She sighed when she realised she needed to take a break. She started to look for her family members she didnt know what happened to any of them. She walked over to the first person she saw which was Kai. Kai and Bella were in a room sort of away from everything. She saw Kellen asleep nere them. She looked at the pair confused and obviously oblivious to what just happened. She walked up to Kai, and watched as Bella was clutching his hand looking worried. Kai held a solemn face. Willow gav ehim a glance," What happened, was anyone from the family killed?" asked Willow a little frightened. She hadnt been in the family long but she still felt apart of it, She would have hated it if one of them died. (Sorry for being so short)

Claire nodded as Kellen stated he would like to talk about anything but the war. That he needed someone to talk to, since he had no one else. She wondered how he could be so strong. Taking all this on by himself, Claire could barely recover from her own personal tragedies. Kellen here had the weight of the world on his shoulder,s and was still standing. That was an amazing feat. Claire would do what she could to help lessen that burden though. She watched him come over and join her on the bale she sat on. Their hands still clasped together, it was comforting just to hold hands.
Kellen would go on to ask whats he would do about this. She didn't know at first, so she waited to think on that. What would she do? She looked at the hay bale across from them, empty, like it was some sort of stage for her thoughts. The cowgirl's mind cranked, and finally she spilled some idea. "Tell the truth? That these are troubled times, tensions are high, and a few scuffles are just gonna happen. That your fixn' to fix all this." she leaned back like he did, her body slightly turned so she could look at him. Her leg tucked under her as she sat sideways to face him. She patted their clasped hands, in a comforting motion.
Back inside Kai and Bella would be tending to Kylar. Bella leaned over to read what Kai wrote, and she smiled. Kai was so straightforward... It was pretty funny. Bella was the quiet one, not really the kind for telling her older siblings what to do. Bella frowned as she noticed someone watching, and Kai went off to get rid of the pest. Bella shook her head as Kai cursed about when the punctuality of the construction crew who was needed to fix this. The construction team would show up, and start making noise. Bella worried it would disturb Kylar's rest, so she wondered if there was anything they could do for him. Kai wanted to take him upstairs, but Bella shook her had. "I don't think we're that strong..." Her eyes drifted to his sleeping face, before flitting to her sister Willow's as Willow came into the house. Willow would ask about Kylar's condition, and Bella would quickly soothe any fears about a fatality. "No, Kylar and Dad had a bit of an argument. Kylar fell asleep and we were just trying to figure out how we could get him upstairs. Would you help us, please?" Bella was quiet as she spoke, as always, her gentle voice was just loud enough to be heard clearly though.

He couldn't help it. He laughed. "I'm sorry Claire. It just that you haven't been around politics much, and that is the last thing that is told there." It was true though. Even for wolves. Kellen had to Lie or bull s*** his way through a lot of meetings. They wanted that almost. Well, at least the start of a solution. And telling them he had no idea what he was going to do was not what he needed.
Kellen closed his eyes, breathing out as he looked up at the ceiling. He missed the days when this stuff was easy. He had no idea what he was going to tell them. The thirteen of them. What a number.
"Claire, What is your favorite color?" Kellen asked randomly. He needed a subject change, and he could think of no better question then that. "Mine is blue personally. A bright blue sky, or a dark blue dusk, or the rolling of the waves, it always is peaceful." Kellen smiled, looking at the ceiling but rolled to face Claire. A piece of Hay stuck his in the nose but he moved it with his other hand. This stuff was comfortable, But a little itchy. "Is this stuff always so pokey?"
Kai smiled as willow walked in, her eyes narrowing a little as she checked willow out. "Hey Willow," She said, smirking. Kai is a lot of things. A predator, yes. In many senses. She was cute though.
Kai looked back at her other cousin on the couch, and did the old test. The test that said he-was-out-cold-to-the-world-and-she-could-make-as-much-noise-as-she-needed-to-to-booby-trap-his-room-and-he-would-never-notice test. He looked his straight in his closed eyes and snapped three times in both of his ears. He didn't budge. "OK, there is no need to move him Bella. He's out cold. Besides, I don't think that we could lift him at all." Kai Smiled at that, zipping away and circled willow on her skated. There skid marks on the floor due to her never taking them off.
"No one is dead yet at the moment," Kai said, stopping her circling of willow and spun once and sat in the chair that her mother vacated. She could tell what was happening between her mom and her adoptive father, and no matter how weird the situation was, she was supporting it. If it kept her mother around longer, She support it. Kai wasn't letting her go, not now when she finally got her.
