The dark water pushing in and out as the tranquil sound of the night whispered around the sand sending impulses of smell mixed in with the fresh sea water. The small sound of footsteps echoing off the water, he glanced into the water his deep blue eyes looking off the glare of the ocean. The one thing he feared was drowning, but he learned it wasn't what he truely had to fear. His power came with great responsibility and learning to control it was another, you can't simply give a man pure power and expect him to control himself, most people would go mad or insane.
It was a curse, not a gift, and not a day went by when he wanted nothing more then to leave the planet. His family betrayed him, left him, or passed away. In the end Hotaru seemed to be right, he couldn't handle it could he? With all his strength he had nothing where he would trade it all for one more minute with the people he loved. He grumbled under his breath, what was his purpose now? What was he good for? What did he had to live for? The SRA he thought to himself, maybe his goal was to shut them down for good? He had broken in before but that wouldn't be enough to shut down a whole organization even with his strength he was one person against a army.
The wind whistled as his ears picked a up scent of a seagull in the far east, it's wings beating against the wind as it striggled to stay in the air. He smiled warmly to the bird staring at it wings, it reminded him so much more then just a bird in the sky.

Lida was quite hungry now. It had been a while since she devoured a soul. Usually she brought her "husband" along for these meals, but she wanted a night out on her own by the beautiful beach. Yes, it was a beach like this on the shores of a Greek peninsula that she was born. Honestly she could easily find a meal elsewhere, and it would be much easier, but she came here instead. She liked to think she was helping out the stranded souls here on the beach. She didn't see any at the moment, but she figured they were hiding out in aqualuna cave.
For now she would enjoy the sand between her toes. It was too cold out for a snake demon like herself, so she wore a thick turtle-neck sweater and a vest with a pair of good quality denim flares. Her hair was mostly tucked up under a tan fashionable women's hat. Something you might see in LOUD! these days.
It didn't take Lida very long to realize she wasn't alone on the beach. She saw another person here in the dark. Her reptilian eyes could see him just fine in the dark. She decided to go see who it was, they were certainly living. As she got closer she realized it was a demon, she could smell it on him.
"Well isn't this a surprise?"
There were no inflections in her voice as ti rang out towards the male demon. She never said it was a pleasant surprise, so he could take that however he wanted. There wasn't a hello in there. She was simply stating the obvious in a cold and bored tone, she was surprised to see another demon so close to the borders of the SRA. Personally she had no problem with the SRA, she liked it there actually, maybe that was why she worked a nurse there? Really it was probably because she was bored, and like a true demon had no real feelings for the well being of the human race. She was an old-timer, a goddess at one time, but now just a bored demon stirring up mischief in many ways to cure her chronic illness of boredom.

Sima turned slowly as he heard a voice his nose twitching ever so slightly at her scent. He could tell she was some form of a demon, it was hard to tell what a demon was now and days considering the way they evolved there could be different abilities possessed by each person. "What do you want?" Sima was just a bit grumpy, he usually wasn't this like this but he wasn't liking her tone or the way she seemed to adress herself.
The incoming tide washed up ashore and then fell back splashing lightly affecting the little moonlight to make a small rainbow effect that faded with the splash, it was quite beautifull but Sima ignored it for the time being as he something else to keep his attention on. He walked over, he kept himself restraint to hide his scent as best he could which sometimes could be used to detect a individuals power, he didn't want to be fought over that again. "You seem a bit confident" Not many people were confident infront of him, atleast people that knew him, well that was a good sign on her part for the time being and would be why he hasn't turned his back on her yet.
"So what brings you to me?" Sima ignored any attempt she had to relate him to being a demon, he hated being called that which is why he didn't really look like a demon, he hid it, he was raised by humans and usually his eyes would be a dull red, fangs, claws, ears and all.. but now he looked like a normal human. Sima was a demon yet he had feelings, taught to him by humans, when naturally he would not know of them if he was raised normally, he used to think he was a demon slayed, pfft what a fool he was.

Lida smirked when he asked what she wanted. He was being so straight to the point, quite amusing. She wasn't going to say he was rude, she hadn't given a polite greeting either. Demons didn't generally get along in the first place though. Sure, she had been living with another demon for over four millenniums but he was her son so it was different. She had never gotten along so great with others of her kind, which might be why she was so rude to them when she first met them usually.
Lida shrugged instead of answering him properly when he asked what she wanted. Then she did it again when he said she was confident. Lida was smiling, but her nonchalant attitude wasn't exactly saying that she wanted to make friends or play nice.
"Nothing brings me to you, this is a coincidental meeting. Nothing more, why would a goddess like me want anything to do with you anyways?"
As conceited as ever Lida smirked at him like she was the most perfect being to ever walk the planet. She tip-toed farther down the beach, trying to get closer to the pristine ocean water. She was quiet as she smiled and got closer to the water. She could care less if he was there or not. She would still end up following what her previous plans had been.

Sima rolled his eyes at the woman's attitude, so cocky, she didn't understand the true meaning of power, she wouldn't be able to understand the power of a god if she truely thought she was a goddess. He turned his head slightly tilted toward her body his eyes glaring up at her to look deep into her soul. He could see nothing but a cocky bitch, her eyes told no other tale, Sima's own eyes were deep, showed his extreme pain yet his extreme Unity with what was around him, his light blue eyes were stunning to say the least.
He got up turning and walking forward to her. "You say you are Goddess? But all I see is a low life." Yep he ticked her off, which was easy at the moment considering how she adressed herself and interupted in his alone time. "Prove you are Godly and I will treat you with such respect, claiming to be something you are not is foolish" His anger was reflecting in his face, and his blue eyes switched small haze of red which was symbollic to thow who knew him before he ended their life with his blade, really that was the only sign that he was a demon other then his scent.
His pupils shifted looking more like ovals then circles, his eyes were becoming more demonic the angrier he became, he wouldn't strike the woman he didn't start fights, he only ended them. Back in the medieval ages he was a noble, atleast when they didn't know he was a demon, he was treated like a king he found her attitude even more revolting considering he knew what it felt like to be high up in the royal ladder, but he didn't act half as pompus as the woman before him was. He gripped his hands tightly in frustration, but couldn't stop himself from letting out a small tear.
He wasn't mad at the woman infront of him but mad at himself, he killed them all it was his fault, the demon before him would either be disgusted, or confused, a demon with emotions? Not usually rare correct? He closed his eyes to calm himself down listening to the winds and the water push in and out with the incoming tide as it began to rise against the sands of the beach.

Lida cracked a genuine smile when she heard him questioning her godliness. Oh, she knew somewhere in the back of her mind that she wasn't one, not anymore at least. She still acted like it though, and you can be whatever you want to be. The real reason she was smiling was because he passed the test.
"Tsk. It's not nice to call people liars you little whipper-snapper. I don't need to prove anything, but you should really brush up on your heritage's history. Every demon should know who the gods are among us. You've heard about me, everyone has. Aphrodite, the goddess of love."
Lida smiled and twirled around because she was one for theatrics. The eccentric goddess could really care less what others thought about her. The attitude has always gotten her into trouble, but that was just how she was.
"If no one told you about the reign of the Olympians you really need to look it up. Of course none of the stories the humans wrote down are correct, I never ran around naked like they said I did. That was just one time and they blew it out of proportion. Only the Olympians would actually know would I was up to."
Lida was smiling still, she loved her history stories. This young demon had just opened up a book he probably didn't want to read, but Lida was a motor-mouth as soon as you got her on the topic. She only wished Milo was here. That would be real fun.
"I was testing you though. I can't trust other gods, since I dropped the gig and pissed off all the other gods. Don't go telling on me or I'll have to kill you, or the other gods will kill you possibly. Your obviously not a god."
Lida shrugged and started walking off again. He was a boring person, and quite rude. There was no use spending anymore time with him. She had already talked his ear off in a little outburst of motor-mouth. The goddess was hungry and wanted to get home soon so she could tuck in her darling five-year old daughter (adopted of course).

Sima grinned widely, young whipper snapper? Hell he didn't even know his own age anymore. "I'm no child" SHe certainly made it seem like she was treating him as a young demon, when in fact compared to him she would be the one who is young. "You do not know the meaning of the words you speak, or the power they hold" Sima certainly sounded... wise there. "I was around when the greek myths began, I was there before they were even thought of," He didn't care if she walked away, he didn't even care if the people who claimed to be gods were true, if so he had already killed atleast 3, and if she pissed him off enough a 4th wouldn't matter would it? His love was dead and she certainly wasn't acting like the godess of love.
"If you are truely a goddess of love, then I would no longer be living" He wanted death with his wife, but nothing seemed to do the trick for him, and he was almost done mourning her death aswell, he knew what she wanted after her death, he knew he shouldn't be angry with himself but it was hard not to be. With all his power, he couldn't bring her back and it haunted him. He turned away from the so called goddess, she could walk away, it's not like he was showcasing anything for others but his anger was getting the best of him.
She came near him at a bad time obviously, which was enough for his his eyes to glow a eerie red.
