Axel stepped into the girl's white cell. His eyes glowing red, covering their usual icy blue. Momo was still passed out on her bed, Axel noted that she seemed to sleep longer then usual. He shrugged it off and gave the scientists the signal that ti was fine to go in and get her. They walked over to her, stuck an IV needle in her arm, and then lifted her onto the stretcher. They carried her away to the operating room.
Drip... Drip...Drip... That was all she could hear for some reason. It was so peaceful. Momo could stay here forever, it was soo much quieter then her usual day full of bodiless whispers. Nothing had ever interested her more then that drip, drip, drip...
Was that really true? Where was this place? Why couldn't Momo open her eyes? Why couldn't she remember what happened? Momo then felt it... The drip, drip, drip entering her body. Like some kind of an infection.
Dr.Connel stood over the girl on his operating table. She seemed like a nice girl, it was a shame about her family. It was a shame she was on his table. However this was what was necessary. Suddenly he heard a beeping, her heart rate was picking up. She was waking up a little, and he couldn't have that. He ordered the anesthesiologist to up her dosage of morphine and sedatives. Momo drifted back into dreamless blackness.
Everything went well. Momo was going to be a wonderful test subject. She had been a little anemic, but besides that she was perfect for this. Her DNA was being changed already. For now she was done with this. Six hours alter Momo woke up on a white bed, in a white room, in a white paper dress. the first thing that came to mind was that she was in a hospital. The IV in her arm made her feel good, she was groggy, and knew they had pumped something in her veins. The teenage girl stared at the ceiling before hearing a faintly familiar masculine voice.
She turned her head to see the white haired man from before, back at the park. It cam back to her in flashes, his glowing red eyes, his warning, his snapping hand cuffs on her wrists, the jabbing of her pressure point that she hadn't known existed. She looked at him in complete shock. Why in the world was this man in her hospital room. Why was she in the hospital? Was this real, or all some dream?
Axel's icy blue eyes met hers as she turned to look at him. Her eyes filled with shock, and he could hear her heart racing. It really sucked to have to hear her heart beating. He wanted to dig his fangs into her more every second he spent with her. This was the monster he was becoming, and it was getting closer and closer to the time he would need to put the monster down. He took in a sharp inhale, trying to relax. Procedure, procedure, that was what was needed now.
"Hello, I'm Axel Morose. Another student here at Scarlet Rose Academy. " he spoke the words with emptiness, they echoed like hallow trees. He was very sick of this memorized speech already. "We have taken you here to change you into something better. You are the future of Liba, and now its guardian. Welcome to Group V, of the test subjects. We all share the DNA of the king of vampires, Kyo Kiri, and thanks to him, you are alive and growing stronger every second. When you have finished the operations, and recovered, training will commence. Prepare now, save Liba later." Axel stopped watching as her expression changed from shocked to confused.
"What is happening to Liba?" she asked. Momo felt panicky, the voices and whispers were starting to move in again. She didn't want them too. It was too soon, she didn't understand anything. "It will be ravaged by war, and everyone you know and or love will die." Axel answered quietly. Then he left, just as quick as he came. Momo stared at the ceiling again. Getting lost in white nothingness. She loved the color white, it was so pure and honest. Not afraid to show that it was just as much as of a wallflower as herself, and yet somehow it was still so beautiful.
