Lyra had come out to get groceries, you could say her stalk was low. She usually bought a lot of groceries, she didn't like coming out and seeing the usual jerks and bullies that wee around this area. The sun was already annoying her white skin, she could deal with it for now but it was putting her in a rather bad mood. She walked by to pick up some vegetables, just the usual... although her favourite was the meat shop, she did have a lot of blood at home but rare or not very well done steak was her favourite. Sh grabbed a few pound of the various bloody meats and concealed them very well within her bags.
She was much more cheery now, almost skipping along at the happy thought of bloody meat for dinner. It wasn't long before she was confronted with those jerks and sleeze balls I told you about. "Heheh" One snickered, Lyra sighed at him as he made one of his brilliant pick-up lines. "Heaven must be missing an angel..." Brilliant weren't they? No rather dull and old, Lyra walked passed him as he angrily shouted at her. "Where do you think your going!" He shouted more and soon walked off back to his friends.

Arna had to do some grocery shopping today since her dad was busy discussing business matters with some of the companies that he sold guns for. She was carrying several half-full bags in her left hand and a shopping list in her right hand which read:
[X] Orange Pop [X] Popcorn [X] Apples [X] Artificial eggs [X] Pasta noodles [X] Tomato sauce [ ] Ground meat [ ] Steak
The shopping lists were never any longer than that really. As she was walking to get the last two items on her list, she noticed beautiful woman with what seemed like white hair putting some meat in her bag. "So pretty~" Arna thought to herself. When she got closer to the meat she felt short when compared to the woman several feet away. She was wondering if she could look like her when she gets older. Despite her gun-obsessed tomboyish nature, she also wanted to be pretty when she grew up. It's not that she wasn't confident in her looks, but she felt plain when looking at the woman.
She picked up the meat and checked them off of the shopping list. After she went to the counter to pay for it, she noticed that she didn't see the woman. She asked herself if the woman had stolen the meat but she couldn't think of any reason why somebody would steal some cheap meat. She didn't look poor either, so Arna decided that the woman must have just been rather fast. When she was done checking out the meat she walked out of the store and saw the woman once more - this time with a man.
"Is that her boyfriend?" she thought to herself but her thoughts were anwsered when the woman walked away from the man and he shouted at her. Arna let out a small giggle at the man walked away - rejected. She noticed that the woman was heading in the same direction as her so she jogged a bit to catch up. She was only a couple of feet behind her now and had no idea what to say. She wondered what she was even doing... it was a very out-of-character thing for her to run up to a random woman and say hi.
She sped up a bit until she was walking parallel to the woman and spoke up. "Hi." she said quickly and joyfully. Then she went completely silent. She wasn't even sure if the woman knew that the greeting was directed at her. Arna suddenly felt really awkward and started to slow down just a bit for the woman to pass.

Lyra was walking, she often was fast with her groceries, whatever happened to help get her out of the sun quicker. Lyra stopped upon hearing a voice. She didn't get to hear it for to long just a slight "Hi" Maybe she was just speaking fast to? Lyra turned around in a dead stop looking for where the supposed "Hi" came from. Lyra peered down upon a girl, she seemed to bevery young perhaps not even in high school. "Hello" Her soft voice called to the girl, she wasn't very scary or anything like that, did she want something perhaps? Lyra was a curious person always wanting to know answers. [color-purple]"What's your name!"[/color] She smiled more energetically, alone she can seem kinda depressing but that just wasn't her style.
"I'm Lyra Nice to meet'cha!" Lyra had seemed a little to energetic at the time but she loved meeting new people, well not the 'jerks' Lyra knelt down a little so she was eye level to her. "So, what did you want again?" She smiled more, she couldn't help it. She was a vampire, but a strange one. Right now however her fangs were hidden, it was a good thing she could do that or else she would be found out in no time. The sun was still annoying her, almost like a slow computer for someone who didn't have any patience.

Arna was surprised when the woman had returned her greeting - she seemed like a very nice lady. The woman then went on to introduce herself and knelt down a bit to match her eye level which just made Arna feel even shorter. There wasn't even a foot's difference in height but she still felt oh-so-very short when next to the woman. "Ah, uh... hi. I'm Arna." she replied to the woman in a slightly nervous but mostly excited voice. After all, she didn't expect to be noticed despite walking up and saying hi. "So, what did you want again?" Lyra spoke once more. Arna still didn't know what to say though. It would seem weird if she said that she just ran up to her to say hi when she didn't even know her. And if she mentioned how she saw her in the store, then with that man, then it might look like she's a stalker. Even though most people would just mark that off as coincidence, she thought that the woman might label her a stalker.
"Well... your really cool. Is that your natural hair color?" said Arna in somewhat of a frantic voice since she didn't want there to be an awkward silence between them. Then she realized how lame she sounded and her cheeks became slightly tinged with red from embarrassment. She didn't even think about what to say, she just blurted it out. But she was kinda curious about her hair color now that she thought of it. It was rare to see people with naturally white-ish hair. She was wondering if the woman kept her hair dyed just like she did.

Lyra looked at her as she told her she was cool. Lyra didn't think of herself as 'cool just herself. Although that was a difficult a qeustion she asked. "Well yeah.." Her hair color was different along time ago but seemed to turn to this which was weird enough for her. "So yes it is my real hair!" She energetically smiled to her. "So.. was that it?" Lyra smiled more, she really enjoyed spending time with people but she looked fairly young was she supposed to be out without her parents.
The sun continued to annoy her and she was getting thirsty. "Do you know anywhere shady?" She asked nicely. [OOC] orry for horrible post Dx wasn't sure what to say please forgive mehs? Dx [OOC]

Arna was once more slightly surprised upon Lyra's reply. It turned out that her hair color was natural after all. When she asked if that was it, Arna had no idea what to say again. Before she could think of a reply, Lyra asked if she knew where there was some shade. She couldn't think of anywhere except one of the nearby alleys. And taking her to an alley would just seem kind of.... weird.
She thought for a couple more seconds and then remembered that there was.... more alleys. "Well... there are a couple of alleys that you could go into for shade. It's a nice day... so I guess your one of the people who like cloudy days right?" she curiously asked Lyra. Then she noticed a couple of guys staring at them. Not only a couple of guys, but just a lot of random passer-bys were looking at them while moving. The two of them must have made a pretty strange-looking duo. OOC: I couldn't really think of anything to say either this time xD.

LYra looked around, she was right the cloudy days were the best for her. "Yeah, you could say that!" But if an alleyway was the only place that was shady that was kind of odd, a lot of mean and jerky people liked allies. Lyra could stand the sun longer, but it really was annoying her. Lyra was pretty lonely from time to time and didn't get much company even though she loved the company of others. "Say, would you like to come shopping with me?" Lyra smiled to before turning to look at the various booths and so on. There were already a lot of them that had caught her attention.
Lyra didn't know if she had her own money or not but that would be okay either way. Lyra had a lot of money to spend so why not? Lyra looked around noticing the man from before seemingly stalking her. "I say we go that way though!" Lyra pointed in the direction the man wasn't at. That way did seem more lively so all the reason to head that way right? The man was already heading towards them? Perhaps on a second attempt oh god.. "Come on! Let's go!" Lyra began walking not really sure what she said.

"Say, would you like to come shopping with me?" asked Lyra. Arna looked down at her groceries and wondered if she should just go home or hang out for a bit. Her dad was really busy and she didn't feel like going target shooting since she had done that almost every day last week... And she didn't have any perishables in her bags.... "Sure, I'll go with you." she spoke up in a happy voice. It wasn't too often she got to hang out with people. Sure, she had a couple of friends that she'd hang out with sometimes during the school year but it was summer break. Most of her friends would be at the beach and doing other "normal" things. Her only friend who was into guns was also like that. She'd gladly accept this opportunity to hang out with somebody new. Maybe the lady was even into guns.
She noticed Lyra looking around and then she had an expression which said she saw somebody she didn't expect. Immediately afterwards she said "I say we go that way though!". Arna looked around out of curiousity but didn't notice anybody out-of-the-ordinary. Then she saw Lyra look again and Arna swiftly followed her gaze and noticed the man from earlier that got rejected. Men just don't know when to quit. "Come on! Let's go!" Lyra spoke up again in somewhat of a hurried voice but it was still a nice-sounding voice to Arna.
"Alright... and hey, do you know that guy? The one who was yelling at you earlier? He's coming our way..." Arna said in a curious and worried tone. She wasn't worried for herself at all though, she was worried for Lyra. She had her trusty home-made M1911 - a .45 caliber pistol from the 20th century - in her book-bag. She'd be able to get it out and aim it in 10 seconds flat if anything were to happen. Thankfully, there are next to no stores with security that would detect her guns. They're all built to detect the modern lazer guns, not projectile-shooting guns from over 2000 years ago. The only thing the guns had in common was the metal used to build them. And the security doesn't go off every time there is metal or it would be going off all the time. She began following Lyra, not caring what shop they went to.

Lyra began walking looking for a store to go to. All the stores looked so fun, each had many different things. Jewellery, Candy, CD's, Sofas, anything you could name! "Umm, no not really... He just looks like a meanie.." Lyra hated these so called 'meanies' They just annoyed her, almost as much as the sun did. They were so many stored. 'Aggh! Which one to pick!" Lyra slightly pouted. Lyra continued to walk, scanning through the stores. "Oh! That one looks nice!" She energetically called turning into the direction. It was an antique shop, full of various nick knacks and doo dads. Lyra walked into the store. This was full of alot different things almost like a goodwill but everything seemed new and refurnished.
Lyra sat down on a couch, slightly bumping up and down on it. "Comfy!" She laughed before changing her attention to something else. Lyra walked up to a nice looking orb, peering into it with her deep blue eyes. There was no reflection however. She then quickly took another glance around the store finding a charm bracelet. Those things don't appeal to her however she tossed it aside picking up a color full drinking glass. "No.." She went around again looking for something. That's when she spotted it, it was a very small yet appealing picture frame. She picked it up examining the detailed artwork around the frame and on it. She smiled happily walking up to the cashier.
"This please!" She smiled happily waiting for him to check it out. "That'll be $24" The man spoke, sounding rather bored. Lyra pulled out the money in a bill and a few change handing it over. The man handed back the receipt and a bag with the frame in it. Lyra looked around happily wondering what the other one was foing.. perhaps buying something too?

When Lyra said "Umm, no not really... He just looks like a meanie..", Arna began thinking that maybe she wasn't as old as she looks. It wasn't too often that you heard a grown woman call a man a "meanie". As Lyra was looking around for a good store, Arna just silently followed. She didn't want to interrupt the search for a store plus she still couldn't think of anything to say. It's not that she lacked social skills - she just couldn't think of what a random older-than-herself lady on the street would want to talk about.
She followed Lyra into the store when she finally chose one and plopped down on the couch next to her, mimicking her motions. She looked into the same orb that Lyra did after she walked away and noticed that her hat was starting to fall off of her head. She hurriedly repositioned the hat on her head and caught up to Lyra. While Lyra was examining a picture frame, Arna saw a replica of one of the last manufactured projectile guns hanging on the wall. It wasn't to her taste though due to the fact that even the last of the projectile guns had begun incorporating lazer technology. Plus, it was just a replica.
Arna noticed that Lyra had chosen something so she felt that she should also choose something despite the fact that nothing in the store was of her taste. She saw a large purse that had an image of a cute chibi turtle covering the sides of it. She walked over to the purse and picked it up - feeling like a child for buying something like that. She went up to the counter and placed the purse on it after Lyra was done checking out. The cashier looked at the purse, then the buyer, then the purse, then the buyer, then back at the purse. It kind of looked like he was going to laugh but he kept his poker face on and said "That'll be $38.29."....... "Huh?" thought Arna, was it really that expensive?
She only brought $60 on her and she already spent most of that on groceries, she only had $12 left. She looked through her wallet for book-bag for more money but couldn't see anything. She started to turn her head to Lyra but that wouldn't be right to ask a stranger for money. Then, like a miracle, she found a $100 bill in the bottom of her book-bag. A grim expression crossed her face when she realized that she was going to use that money for the materials to create more bullets for her guns. Even though she already had enough ammo to last her a week in a war zone...
"Here." she said to the cashier with a tired voice and handed over the $100 bill. The cashier started counting her change and handed it over to her with the receipt. She slung the purse's strap over her shoulder and walked over to Lyra. "Hah... I think I'm done buying things for now." she said in a tired-sounding voice then realized that she could still go out for some lunch. "Do you want to maybe go get something to eat?" she asked in a more cheerful voice. She still had quite a bit of time before she had to take the groceries home.

Lyra waited for Arna, she had a few things running through her mind like. Why did she get a picture frame? She really didn't have anyone's picture she wanted to place in it but it looked nice. Her condo was rather large, full of weird knick knacks and so on but she barley had any pictures. Lyra looked at the purse and couldn't stop but wonder how cute it was, she always thought of things like that sometimes being very girlie, but she can pushy to. Lyra stopped to listen to Arna as she spoke. Done buying stuff, well that wasn't really that bad. Lyra was pretty hungry, She would've had to go home soon if the meat wasn't frozen like a rock. "Sounds good to me!" Lyra began walking she was sure Arna would follow her. Lyra began walking ignoring all the shops, she passed around a corner to the food section peering at all the different places to go eat.
The smell of fast food and other smells littered the area, not really bad smells but something that was different. The various food shops had many customers, each with at least 3-4 people standing around waiting for food and much more sitting and eating. The various lights lit up the section, and there were small kid rides down at the end. "See anything you like?" Lyra couldn't stop but think about blood at a time like this, looking down into her bag she could see her steaks, each cascaded with blood almost making her drool. She had been going for awhile without it, but she needed it she lived on it Lyra stopped herself from her trance to continue looking ahead or a food spot to eat at. "These places look rather good?" She pointed out a few small stands out at the far left side. [OOC]Sorry..{ooc]

"See anything you like?"
Arna looked around but all of the good shops had at least 4 people waiting for food. If she was by herself and didn't have groceries to take home then she wouldn't mind waiting. She looked to where Lyra pointed when she said "These places look rather good?" and noticed a Chinese (or whatever the modern equivalent is) food shop that only had one other person waiting for food. That was her dad's favorite type of food so they had it a lot. It wasn't that she didn't like it, she just had it almost every time her dad got to decide where to go out and eat. Oh well, it would be fine.
"How about that one?" she pointed to the Chinese food store and asked Lyra. Before getting an answer, she had already begun reading the menu and figuring out what to get. Immediately after she saw General Tso's Chicken (or whatever the modern equivalent is, again) she decided that she wanted that. She took a couple of steps forward and then turned around in the middle of her 5th step and faced Lyra - waiting for an answer.
OOC: Nothing to be sorry about =3

Lyra looked toward the chinese style shop Arna had pointed to. It looked rather good, it smelled rather good but did they serve any type of steak? Steak was one of the easiest food to get blood in without it seeming weird, she could just ask for a medium-rare steak simple as that. Although it seemed that she would have to wait longer for her 'drink' Lyra was glad the place wasn't full of people she rather disliked crowds. "Sounds good to me!" She smiled brightly before walking towards the store. Lyra walked up looking at the menu, they had an awful big selection to choose from.
"There's a lot to choose from" Lyra stared at the menu. Lyra had chosen sweet'n sour pork. She was hoping they would under cook hopefully leaving a soft pink blood mark inside, although it didn't matter she would home soon to stock her fridge and tidy up. Lyra looked around sitting at a table, thinking they should bring it to them when it's done. She looked around before playing with the salt and pepper shakers, pouring and mixing them on a small paper towel. Lyra was entertaining hersel mixing the salt and pepper as such but she would soon probably get yelled at or told to stop.

After the duo had ordered, they sat down at a table and Arna was trying to think of what to talk about. It was going to be awkward if they didn't talk. She watched Lyra mess with the salt and pepper for a bit silently before she spoke up and asked "So...what do you do...? Like, do you have a job or a boyfriend or something... If you don't mind my asking, of course..". She liked hearing about other people's lives. Especially when they weren't just "normal" like everybody else; she loved stories.
She began to tap on the underside of the table with her pinkies while waiting for the food. She could see them preparing what looked like what they ordered so it must be almost done. "Just a little longer..." she said to herself silently enough so that no normal human would be able to hear what she said among all the background noise of the stores.

Lyra still played with the salt and pepper shakers, though stopped upon hearing qeustion. "I work at the Police Station, as a Secretary..." Lyra got all random sorts of odd people in there, talking to them or listening to it on the phone and other odd things she worked at night so she had the days off but sometimes just slept. "And no.. to the other part" Lyra smiled almost into a laugh before noticing the waiter coming with there food. She placed Lyra's down infront of her and same as Arna's. "Any Drinks?" The waiter asked. "I'll get a coke please" Lyra smiled, the waiter waited for Arna before leaving to get the drinks.
"So what about you? A job? A boyfriend?" Lyra was joking of course kind of a friendly playful attitude. Lyra then began to eat her food, she was really hungry. This food would solve a certain part of her hunger, but there was thing she still lusted for. I'm pretty sure you can guess what that is. [OOC]Sorry bout bad post Dx [OOC]
