Finally, it was the first time she'd been out in a month. A chilly wind spiked the night air as Autumn was quickly falling upon the land, leaves crunching as she walked down the dimly lit streets. Pausing beneath a street lamp to gaze up at the moon, shivering lightly and pulling her warm coat close around her. Mayumi wasn't actually supposed to be out yet, she'd been hospitalized for the past month due to her childhood illness and the curse of a weak body. Mayumi could only smile faintly as she tucked her head back down. Not having even had time to change from the hospital gown, instead just wearing a warm coat to cover her torso and some shorts beneath the otherwise breezy gown. Making her way down a familiar path as she entered the park.
The area lit by orange hued lights, black silhouettes reigned over the night as she came to a fountain. She'd often made wishes in as a child, a guilty pleasure as she glanced around. Pulling a small coin from her pocket, and with a shy smile kissing it and closing her eyes, tossing it in finally with a faint whisper. "Please fix this body of mine." Mayumi reopened her eyes with a bright smile, she knew it would never happen but she wished for it yet again. The same thing she'd wished as a child, to be normal just like everyone else. Mayumi sighed and shivered again, walking over to a nearby bench to sit down, being she began to feel weak fairly quickly. Perhaps coming out so late without a word to anyone wasn't such a good idea.
Mayumi could feel her chest collect pressure, and her body drooped slightly as she curled into herself. Sitting slouched on a bench, just faintly illuminated by the dim orange light from a nearby street lamp. Her arm crossing her torso lightly, as she coughed. Smiling faintly though, she was really in trouble here. Mayumi closed her eyes as she tucked into her warm coat a bit more. goosebumps covering the rest of her legs as she continued to slouch over on the bench. Feeling more lightheaded each second. If anyone saw her, surely they'd turn her in. A hospital patient shouldn't be out and not this far from it for certain. "I really did it this time.." Mayumi chuckled softly to herself as she fought to keep herself upright.

James was doing his usual walk around the block when his hat was blown away by a chilling wind. The cold didn't bother him but he was afraid of being recognized by the flashing camera people. James looked around and saw a group of them by his sisters house and was like 'oh **** and tried to cover his face and take the back door but they spotted him and sure enough they knew who he was. They ran over to him but James was fast as well he bolted but to his dismay they were following asking questions. James yelled at them "No comment" but they still followed.
James saw the edge park and decided to try and loose them by the trees. He lost most of them but a few were still following so he donned his glasses and checked for a route with them and took it. He saw a girl nearly out cold on a bench and got an idea. So he carefully took her hand and started waling down the path making it took like he was an older brother taking his sister home or at least that's the story he would use to the press person.
The guy finally caught up and saw the two walking. He asked them if they saw who he was after. James told the man he went in the opposite direction hoping the man would believe him and that the girl would be to whipped out to talk. Sure enough the man went in the wrong direction. James sighed in relief when he did "Sorry about that i had to loose him,and i am sorry if i hurt you in anyway" said James as he stopped and looked at the girl in the light of the lamp "So whats you name mines carter" he said using his old last name for a cover of his real first name, before taking off his glasses.

Mayumi's eyes widened at her sudden departure from the bench. Falling quickly into one of her common coughing fits, though recovering quickly. Hearing rapid footsteps behind whomever was holding her hand, she couldn't really reply. Her chest was aching again, though she smiled quietly. Soon enough the man released her hand and apologized, making Mayumi smile brightly. She had always been one to live in and for every moment she was left breathing. His apology and introduction only made her giggle, and don a mock serious face, smacking him playfully on the chest with her two fingers returning to her forehead. It was common for her to hit males, even if she hardly knew them. Mayumi was labeled a tomboy, so it was her nature. "You should be sorry! Grabbing me out of nowhere like that!" Mayumi followed this statement with her bright laughter.
Trying her best to show that he honestly hadn't hurt her or scared her in the slightest. In fact she enjoyed it, Mayumi warmed up to people quickly. "Really, its fine. You seem to be popular, or slightly popular if you have people following you around in a hurry like that, Carter. But no, i'm fine, I was more hurt sitting there than helping you ditch whoever that was. I'm Mayumi." Mayumi smiled brightly again, placing her fingers to her forehead again in a semi-salute before bowing. The wind blowing up the hospital gown, making her jolt upright and blush slightly. Pushing down the gown, though wearing shorts it was still embarrassing. Mayumi tossed a glance back the way she'd come. She didn't feel as though being in the open was safe but ignored it.
"So, Carter... Please tell me you're not here to take me back to the hospital? They pull lots of tricks when people leave." Mayumi winked and giggled again, nudging her elbow towards him in a friendly way. She honestly didn't mind helping people out, in fact it was one of the things she enjoyed the most. Though it was short lived, her chest screamed again as she tucked into herself again, coughing violently into her sleeves. Trying to keep her feet planted firmly on the ground.
