[Kenshin Toric]

Kenshin sat in one of the trees in the nature room, now his room, looking at the fake sky and listening to all the critters crawling around. Kenshin smirked as a squiral crawled onto his shoulder and Kenshin started to pet it, feeling the soft fur as the fake wind blew over the area. Kenshin smiled, looking down and his new enhanced eyes caught the site of most of his little pets. Kenshin smiked as the little rodent crawled down his arm and onto his knee, looking around then farther out the branch and jumped onto another tree. Kenshin smirked, liking his luck. He was assigned a different room but found this one, and couldn't leave it. Nature existing down here, at this level, and thriving.... Kenshin just wanted to take care of it. Course, Kala was none to happy about that. Kenshin felt his still lips quirk upward for a second then back down. he had trouble with expressing emotions like he used to. Something to do with her operation maybe, but he didn;t care. he had his mission,his animals, and his sister down the hall. what more could he want?

Kala stormed down the hall, her claws out as she busted into the nature room, or now called kenshin's room, and kickde the door open. She was mad."Kenshin!" She yelled, looking around as the little animals scattered. She spotted kenshin in a tree and frowned, putting a hand on her hip and said," Kenshin, can you come here?" Kenshin looked at the rodent disappeared from the noise and he sighed, his face expressionless and he jumped off the branch and flipped through the air, landing on his hands and started flipping till he was right in front of His sister Kala. Kala ignored the showing off, But a part of her weeped. Her brother would have smiled and whooped in joy at being able to do that before. Now it was just coldness."We were expossed to have lunch together now that I can walk and know that I am going to live through this," She said, mad for a minute but then smiled as Kenshin's facial expression went from blank to surprised to guilt. Course, she knew him enough that she could see it. She doubted any of the scientists would have noticed. Kala smiled and grabbed Kenshin's jacketed arm and pulled him out into the hallway. She was in jeans and a tee right now but Kenshin..... what was he wearing? Kenshin was wearing a net shirt with a jacket for sleeves and it was open so his netted chest was shown to the world. he had scarfs and threads of clothing around his neck and what looked like into his arms, but normal pants on and sandles. Kala pretended not to notice as she dragged Kenshin to the cafeteria.

Kenshin was slightly amused, but didn't feel much as His sister dragged him off. He was used to it. Kenshin saw he eyes travel down his front and didn't miss a blink, not really caring. He liked it anyways.

Kenshin and Kala entered the cafe, and Kenshin winced, is still sensitive nose still getting used to how it was now. He was surprised that Kala was adgusting well as she was. She always hated change. Kenshin got in line behaiend her as she started to pile things on her plate. Kenshin looked over it all, then started to as well. He was hungry, that was for certain. He hated being hungry. reminded him of all those nights he was sent to bed with out dinner for getting in fights defending Kala. She was always getting in trouble. Kenshin watched as She extended a claw and poked a peice of break to pick it up, not really caring about the change. that surprised him. usually that thought would have scared him to death. now it seemed so normal.

[Momo Sato]

Momo yawned, walking into the cafeteria. Doing her very best to keep the whispers in her head down to a dull roar, sort of how the staff tried to keep the teenage army in the lunch room to a dull roar. It was time for her to eat, and she was really hungry. Momo had a strange habit of being shy about her food eating, she wouldn't chew without covering her mouth with one hand when people were in the room. It was.. impolite in her mind to let others see her mouth even make the chewing action. She simply couldn't eat without doing it.

Momo walked in alone, half expecting Axel to pop in out of nowhere like he usually did. she didn't know how he did it, but whenever she least expected it he popped in and started nagging... Momo sighed, wondering if she was really such a nuisance that all her senpai could do was nag at her. She got in line with her tray, all though she was a little early, and the two other people way down at the end couldn't really be considered a line. The whispers in her head made it feel like the room was packed though...

The girl had long, long, long brown hair. Chocolate eyes, and a pretty face. She was a little pale, and the fact that she was only wearing black didn't help. The black t-shirt and skirt paired with black fishnet tights, a black choker, and black flats just leeched the color from her skin. She was wearing one silver, tiny, little hoop earring in her left ear, and two black studs in her right ear. She came across as a goth, troublemaker then the shy girl she really was. "Um... can I have..." Momo said quietly, looking down at the food. The middle aged woman behind the counter gave her an annoyed look. "Look kid, speak up or something. I hate mumbles, you girls need to learn how to talk! Eeesh..." She said, Momo looked up, looking like a sad puppy, "I'm sorry..." she said, then went away. Giving up on the prospect of asking her for the baked chicken strips just out of her reach. Momo really hated being short... She felt like a little girl, and it made everyone else seem that much scarier.

Momo grabbed the tonsils and started lading her tray with carrots. She had about a salad's worth in carrots, and then grabbed a small bowl of diced up watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and kiwi. As she reached out for some more carrots, she heard a masculine voice from behind her. "Are you turning into a rabbit or something?" Axel asked, suddenly, just there. Momo looked at him in surprise. Then put down the tonsil, "I'm sorr--..." she was cut off from her quiet apology, as Axel quickly picked up the tonsil and used it to put three more carrots on her tray. "Don't be... just try not to turn orange from all of these." he said. Axel then turned away and left to get his own food. Momo watched him go, and then looked at her tray. Now she had two too many carrots. "I only wanted one..." she said quietly, and then suddenly Axel turned around and gave her a glare. "Eat your vegetables or you'll be as small as a rabbit forever." He said, just loud enough for her to hear clearly. Momo turned bright pink, and then scurried over to a table.

She brought a carrot to her mouth and bit down on it, quickly covering her mouth so no one could see her chewing motions. She was crunch, crunch, crunching away when she spotted Kenshin being dragged in by his sister. She watched with her sad puppy eyes as they went, missing her baby sister more then ever. Momo looked around, and suddenly noticed that Axel was sitting in front of her now. Momo gulped, "whe--...." she said quietly, getting cut off mid word by Axel. "Just now." He said, then reached over and stole two carrots from her plate. Momo gave him a dirty look, and he just rolled his eyes.

Axel watched as Kenshin and his sister got in line. One thing he would never understand as an only child was the bond between siblings. The only person outside these walls he cared for was in a coma... So it wasn't like he had anything to go back to even if he wanted to leave. He glanced over at Momo, she was crunch, crunch, crunching away, covering her mouth in that shy way she always did. He remembered the night he found her all alone on a park bench in the middle of the night. Just over a month ago actually... Strangely, he was already a bit attached to her. If only he could stop looking at her and thinking about how nice it would be to just suck the life out of her... Honestly, being around her just made him feel more and more like a monster.

The odd pair sat their eating in silence. Sneaking looks at Kenshin as he went through the line. Neither saying anything... they really were odd. Momo looked like a little girl playing dress up and trying to look like a bad goth girl whenever she was around Axel. Axel was intimidating on the other hand, his white hair and either icy blue eyes or glowing crimson eyes, coupled with his tallness and he obvious dominance. At the moment, Axel was calm, his eyes staying icy blue as he bit down on Momo's carrot, not bothering to cover his mouth. In a cup next to him, a lid hiding its contents, was the same fake blood any vampire would drink. Axel couldn't help being jealous of Momo, she had the same powers as him, only she didn't have the blood lust. Of course he would never wish the blood lust on anyone.

[Kenshin Toric]

Kenshin looked over as a girl was trying to get some chicken and noticed that she couldn't get to it, and gave up. Kenshin walked over and looked at the chicken, then at the woman and said," You should be a little nicer," and took a plate and put a little on it. Kenshin put the plate on his tray and put the tray on his left hand, perfectly balancing it on the tips of his fingers. kala looked at him and raised an eyebrow at him, asking," Why are you getting that?" Kala watched as kenshin Picked up her tray as well and She smiled, knowing he would do that.

Kala tugged on her brother's jacket, pulling him to a table but Kenshin stopped walking in front of the table with the girl and now a guy. he knew that they had been looking at him. He saw it. Kenshin put one tray down on the table and took the chicken down in front of her without saying anything. Kenshin picked up his tray again, but Kala was bored and asked," Can we sit here?" She didn't wait as she took her tray from Kenshin and went to sit by Axel. kenshin didn't react as he sat down next to Momo but with space between them. kala smiled and stole something off Kenshin's plate. Kenshin didn't care as he munched on his sandwich. She only stole a french fry.

"So, who are you guys? My name is Kala. He's kenshin," Kala said, using her finger and pointed to him. kenshin looked up, his a jacket front falling open more as he heard his name mentioned."I'm a V class. He's an H class. you guys?" She Asked, blabbing on again."The first," Kenshin whispered, kind of depressed from it yet liking it. Kenshin was an odd one.

kenshin chewed on his sandwich, not really paying attention. He was all good for letting Kala do the talking, as long as she didn't start anything again. Back when Kenshin was still...... well, less, he would always be fighting her fights. she would talk to someone, and then something would happen and she would piss someone off and kenshin would beat them up as they tried to hit her. that might have given her that sense of security to to that, but kenshin wouldn't let her be hurt. Kenshin looked at the girl next to him and the guy across the table, tilting his head as Kala took a deep gulp from her cup. it was the same drink that Axel had. Kenshin sniffed, smelling it and wishing to be back i n his room or had some orders and training exercise. He disliked all this free time. "So, how long have you two been here?" Kala asked, Kenshin's ears perking at this. he was curious to know. He wanted to know the others around here. Course, getting close to others was not on his list. He had been paired against test other test subjects, and being made to fight them. he was not intrested in learning faces, but learning comrades and opponents. Kenshin felt the jacket on his netted shoulders move as he shifted his head to looked at them.

[Axel Morose]

Axel watched as Momo crunched away on her carrot, well actually he watched as she hid the fact that she was eating. Like it was some kind of sin to eat carrots. After almost a month together as partners, he was used to a few of her strange habits. At least she wasn't doing the scribbling thing again. It was actually kind of creepy how she could sit writing the same words over and over again for hours. He didn't like being around when she did that, but realized by now it was something she felt she needed to do. Like how he needed to hate himself for becoming more and more of a monster everyday.

Momo's chocolate eyes flashed up suddenly when she heard a female voice ask if they could sit. Momo began her words quietly, "Yea-... Oh." She didn't finish saying ti was okay because the two strangers just sat down. momo glanced shyly at the strange boy without a real shirt on next to her. She turned pink, unsure what to do suddenly. She looked up at Axel, who was as cool and calm as ever. Well actually Axel wasn't that calm all the time, he had a really bad temper...

Axel's eyes flashed red as the two sat down without getting permission from Momo. He didn't want people freaking her out, he was still a bit guilty about accidentally brainwashing her, however that was more of Peter's fault. The night she was stable enough in health for visitors, he was sent in to talk to her, and he didn't know how badly she was struggling with her sanity. He couldn't get that crazed look on Momo's face out of his head, and could only imagine what else might trigger that. He was both her partner and her teacher, and so he felt a certain responsibility for her...

Axel let it go, hearing Momo's interrupted yeah, go ahead. Seriously, he knew she wouldn't have turned them down, it was just it was rude of them to just sit down without her permission. He glanced at the female's cup smelling exactly what it was. Group V, just like himself and Momo. He heard the female ask who they were. Momo was looking at Axel, like he was supposed to have all the answers or something.

The white haired male rolled his eyes at Momo's gaze, and she looked down at her carots as if she had her feelings hurt. Axel's eyes flashed red, out of annoyance, and he answered for the both of them, since he knew her well enough to say she was going to be too shy to answer so easily. It also happened to help his intuition that she was bright pink, her emotions had a habit of running across her face like a screen of her heart...

"I'm Axel Morose, and this is my partner Momo Sato." He said, and then stole another carrot from her. She looked up at him, annoyance all over her face, she looked like a puppy who got its toy stolen. Axel smirked, and then watched as she pointed at the chicken in front of her. He glanced at the other male as she opened her mouth and a quiet voice escaped her pink lips. "Um... Did you get these for me?" she said quietly. Momo had a hard time raising her voice around people she didn't know, it didn't help that all day, every day, all she heard was whispering...

Momo looked up at the other girl as she started talking a lot. Momo wanted to be brave like that, but she was shy... Momo could fight alongside Turics, fight with rebels, but she couldn't figure out how to talk to strangers. Axel took the lead for her though, since he knew she didn't want to talk quite yet. Momo gulped down her carrot as he spoke up for them both. Just after the other male mumbled the first, about being in group H. "We are both in group V too," he said.

The new female spoke up again, and then Momo finally had the courage to answer. "I've been here for just over a month." She said raising her voice to a slightly more audible. Then Axel's answer followed perfectly in sync afterwords. "Two years..." Axel glanced at these two. He could tell they were new. After two years being here and seeing new people he knew what new looked like.

Momo gulped down some more carrot, and then got the bright idea to make a friend. Everyone liked jokes right? She would do something funny. She looked up shyly, still a bit pink, even though all the gothic black she was wearing totally sucked the color out of everything else. "Do you want to see something funny?" She said, hoping that they would like it. She took a big crunch out of her carrot, and for the first time in a long time she didn't cover her mouth after taking a bite. She quickly swallowed it, and then followed with, "Wazz up, Doc?" She smiled shyly, and Axel looked at her in surprise. This was the first time in a while she had reached out to anyone, and he found it just a little bit funny, so he cracked a smile, which made Momo very happy. Axel then replied to her, smiling for the first time in a while, "I thought I told you not to turn into a rabbit?" Momo grinned at him, a little pink still.

[Kenshin Toric]

"Axel and momo? Are you two a couple?" Kala asked, after the boy intruduced them. Kenshin looked up and picked up a french fry and flicked it at her head, saying," Nosy." Kala grinned at her brother and threw the fry back. kenshin just tilted his head and it flew by. That just got Kala mad a little, but she settled down, stealing another fry and eatting it.

Kenshin looked at the girl, his shoulders turning so that his open chest was shown to her and said," Yeah. I didn;t like how that lady was a jerk." Kenshin looked back forward, his mind else wear again. Kala smirked, seeing it. Kenshin was thinking of what his next misssion might be. he hoped it would be challenging at least. He hated boring missions. like capture the flag, one vs five. boring. he easily beat those five. course, they were normal solders, not others like him. Course, there were no others like him. he was the only H class. Kenshin put his snadwich down for a minute, thinking as Kala started to talk again.

"Sweet. i wanted to meet other V classes. Is it true we need to drink this stuff of we go crazy? Are you drinking it? Do you have claws?" Kala felt another fry hit her in the head, and shot a look at her brother. He Didn't even look like he moved from his think position, but no one else would have thrown it at her. Kala sighed and sat down, eatting her lunch. Kenshin gave a smile smile, picking up his sandwich again.

"We've been here about 2 months. Right kenshin? Kenshin nodded at his sister's question, looking at Axel and thinking again, wondering how strong axel was. Kenshin got a smirk at that that vanished quickly."Yeah. I've been in solatiar due to being experimental grounds, while she just recovered." Kenshin didn;t really feel anything about that again. Strange. Kenshin thought he was loosing it, but then remembered where he was and knew he really did.or, close enough.

Kenshin looked at the girl Momo as she said she was going to do something funny. Kenshin watched as she did a bugs bunny impression and he gave a small smile. It wasn't laughing,but for him, now, it was huge. Kala noticed and frowned, thinking," Why can't i get him to smile like that anymore?" Kenshin smirked at axel to as he joined in and Kala laughed again. Kenshin leaned back, a small smile on his face as Kala tried to be funny."Well, this is just great." Kenshin snickered at how bad an intimation of daffy duck it was." Go with someone else next time," he said to kala as She gave a pouting face but grinned. Kenshin smirked at the others but then his face went back to emotionless again.

[Momo Sato]

Momo panicked when she heard that question. A worried, almost frightened expression crossed her face. Axel growled, eyes flashing red, looking mad. "No way in hell." He answered, and Momo turned bright pink, looking down, as if she were looking through the table at her feet. "Yeah... We aren't...Like that..." She glanced at the male next to her, wondering what he must think of that. What did watching guys think when they heard something like that? Did he think she was some annoying brat, who would never make a good lover? Momo turned so pink she looked almost red...

Axel could see that Momo was totally freaking out. He glared at her. Why must she be soo emotional? Well, that was his anger talking... Honestly, he was glad someone at least was feeling something besides anger. Not that he wanted to see Momo all tomato looking. "Calm down Momo, it was just a question." He said, then stole another carrot from her, making sure she didn't turn into some kind of pink Easter rabbit.

Axel watched as the other male answered Momo's question. Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, their chocolaty depths bursting up like bubbles. "Thanks! It's alright, that lady just didn't... well I... I'm too quiet, no one wants to hear whispers right?" She said starting at a normal level and getting quieter as she spoke. Axel looked at her, it seemed like an innocent glance, but really he was worried again. Momo's whispers, she remembered when he first met her, when he left the room after seeing she wasn't ready for the speech she screamed the same words over and over, he could hear it two hallways away. The words echoed in his mind, and later she had told him about how whispers always echoed in her mind.

Was this girl a blabber mouth or what? Axel listened in semi-annoyance as she asked stupid questions. Okay, they weren't stupid, it was just that he was mad about the question. Probably because it reminded him how he viewed Momo half of the time, every other time he looked at her, he could hear her heart beat, and smell the blood in her veins. It was like the monster inside him just wanted to turn her into a snack, and he just couldn't stop the monster's thoughts from entering his own. Axel watched as he knew Momo would talk about it, since she knew that he would never want to talk about it.

Momo faintly smiled at the vampire questions, she lifted up her hand, and revealed long, sharp fingernails. She gulped, removing her hand from in front of her face, "Some of it is. Some of us have the thirst and some don't, if you are craving it you need to drink it, otherwise... well..." she looked away. She hated that word. Crazy. She didn't want to say it. Axel took over, he sounded almost angry. "If you have the thirst, and you don't drink this fake stuff, you might just end up killing someone, never let it get that far. And yes, you have fangs." He said, then looked at Momo, who opened her mouth really wide, and showed the other female her fangs. Axel looked away, he hated that...

Momo wasn't a monster. He hated seeing her act like one. Momo then grabbed some chicken and bit into it, covering her mouth again. She gulped that piece down and then continued, "I'm lucky... Never had the urge to drink that stuff, I can smell that you have it though..." Her eyes flashed red for a moment as she looked at the other female's cup. Axel nor Momo would answer if they were drinking it or not. Momo knew better then to talk about it with Axel, he always got angry over it.

Momo heard their stories and crunch, crunch, crunched down more carrots. She was almost done with all the carrots she had somehow, but it almost seemed as if Axel had been stealing them when no one had been looking. Or at least Momo hoped so, because it kind of made her feel like a bunny to have eaten that many carrots. She really liked them though... But Axel was going to say she was growing bunny ears...

Momo remembered waking up for the first time, she cringed, not wanting to remember that. Her eyes started glowing from the painful memory, it scared her very badly that night. Momo herself would admit... not using the word she hated... but that she was not all there for the first week. Besides a few mis-steps with her sanity, Momo was making an amazing recovery from her surgery, and from this change. Axel could remember how easy it was to brain wash Momo. He hadn't even meant to, but just his first few words had been enough to plant the seed of an idea in her head. After that, the brainwashing room only watered the plant more...

Axel was not impressed what so ever by the other female's impression. Of course Momo found it hilarious and started laughing. She stared wide eyed at Kenshin when he said it wasn't good. "That was adorable!" She said enthusiastically and quietly at the same time. Axel rolled his eyes, not really seeing how Momo always managed to be so... nice. Momo blushed, looking at the other female, then she started eating as fast as she could, not wanting to eat in front of all these people who she kept getting embarrassed in front of. Of course she was covering her mouth so Axel wouldn't realize that he needed to be warning her to slow down or else she would choke...

Peter picked up a chart in his ofice. He lifted up the front page of it, reading it quickly... So? This Kenshin boy? He was doing well it seemed... Axel could handle one more tag-a-long. Peter wanted these new test subjects, both Momo Sato, and Kenshin Toric, to be watched over by Axel. Both Peter and Axel approved of Axel, he was a diligent boy, he could handle the challenge of leading a team. Peter wrote down the note... An official notice, that he would just deliver himself then waste time bothering someone else to do it. He checked his information, and found that All three of them were already in one spot. The cafeteria... Peter was aware that Momo and Axel were already partners, but he knew they could handle Kenshin joining them.

He took the note, got up, and left his office. Walking quickly to the cafeteria, ignoring some odd looks he got from fellow passing staff. When he entered the room, the last thing he would have expected was that the whole team would be sitting together. He smiled... It was good to know that this didn't look like a problem.

Axel looked up, he could smell Peter... How annoying, he looked at Momo, and through their partner body language she looked behind her to see Peter approaching. She smiled, and Axel frowned. It was nice how nice Momo was, but seriously, did she have to get brainwashed so easily? Axel was doing this out of his own sense of duty, Momo was doing this for Baylee, and because she was brainwashed into thinking that if she didn't that Baylee would certianly die. Which was possible...

Axel's eyes glowed red, in annoyance, as the head scientist approached. He straightened up, as if someone important was approaching. Momo turned around in her seat, her back to her food so she could see Peter well. For some odd reason Momo got along well with Dr.Connel. Axel on the other hand hated the man's "I understand what your going through" crap. Axel had seen the scars, and sure, maybe the doctor did have some empathy, but Axel had a few bad experiences with the doctor. Including being tricked into sending Momo into a crazy panic over a little brainwashing. As Cabbot's dog, Axel had to listen to her direct subordinates, which meant
Peter...

"Axel, your latest orders." Peter handed over the paper, smiled at the group of teens, and then left. Axel took it, unfolded it, and read it. Momo turned in her seat again, standing on her knees on the seat trying to get a look. "What's it say?" she asked quietly, craning her neck like some kind of child. Axel handed it over to Kenshin, and Momo then directed her eyes on it, where it sat in between the two on the table. Momo read it with a strange expression on her face...

Axel Morose,
You are to take Kenshin Toric as a new edition to your unit. Momo Sato shall remain in the group also. You will lead them. Please make sure they both get proper training, and you will be given group assignments until your group is separated, if it ever gets separated. If you have questions, ask the office, and if you have complaints, send them to the office. Have a good day, and good luck.

The rest of the paper was really technical information that was too boring for Momo to read. "Woah," said Momo quietly, then sat down properly again and started eating, as if it were no big deal. Axel slumped, his head resting on his hand which was propped up by his elbow. "Welcome to the group I guess..." He said, then started eating as if it were nothing. Axel was a little irritated, he didn't want to be a babysitter, but... He had no choice. At least it was the quiet one and not the blabber mouth girl... Momo didn't seem to mind, she glanced at Kenshin again then looked back down towards her food with pink all over her cheeks.

[Kenshin Toric]

Kenshin smirked while kala giggled about the couple thing. Kenshin looked at them, thinking that they would make a good couple together. Kenshin was puzzled at that thought. He never had those type of thoughts. kind of creepy. Kenshin smirked as Axel told Momo to calm down. Kenshin decided he liked these two. They were entertaining.

Kenshin looked at momo as she talked, and smirked and said," Don't worry about it." Kenshin looked back at his tray, loaded with three more sandwiches , a salad, and four things of water. His stomach had grown, but he went through about a ton of calories a day and needed the food. Kenshin picked up another sandwich and munched on it. They tried to feed him normally before but then he was always hungry and needed more.

Kala looked at Momo wide eyed as her fangs came out and kenshin poked one. Kala grinned at her brother and opened her mouth, her fangs coming out and she looked at kenshin, then turned her face. Why did she just want to sink her teeth into his neck? again. Kala hated that. her fangs went back into her gums and then she took a sip of the fake blood."yeah. I need it," She said, sad on that. Kenshin got...... lucky she guessed. course, the V one was more safer then the H experimenting since the scientist knew what they were somewhat doing, while with him it was a hit and miss. Though he didn't have to drink this stuff. Kala felt a jap of envy there and pushed it down, not letting it show of kenshin would pick up on the slightess hint of it.

Kala blushed as Momo said that was adorable and kenshin grinned again, but then back to nothing. Kala looked at kenshin, weirded out on how he could do that. From amused to nothing is .03 seconds flat. It was weird.

Kenshin frowned, hearing the odd click click of heels on the floor. Only staff really had shoes that did that. Kenshin looked up to see Peter and nearly jumped up, His hand at a salute and said,' Sir!" Kenshin didn't think that Peter noticed so as he left he sat back down, not caring anymore.Kala was shocked though at what her brother just did. "Did he just salute the bastard that changed us?" She thought, wondering as Kenshin settled back down and started eating his third sandwich. Kala turned her head away from the man, folding her arms in front of her as to say," What ever. I don't like you." Total opposite of her brother.

Kenshin frowned, looking at the note and read it quickly. Kenshin raised an eyebrow, then looked at the man in front of him. So, axel was his captain now. Kenshin handed the note to bella and picked up his third sandwich again and took a big bite. Kenshin looked at Axel, his eyes now taking in every detail. He was decent looking, and defenatly a blood drinker like his sis. Keshin was guessing he was strong being here for two years. Momo, though, he might have to look out for. She had been her less time then him, but kenshin hadn't meet any test subjects besides his sis before today. Kenshin looked at axel again as he spoke, and nodded. He didn't really like being in a group and very much liked to be solo. No one protecting him and no one telling him what to do, and no need to watch there backs. So much simpler.

"OK then. What is the mission right now?" kenshin asked."What are our orders? I hate free time," Kenshin said. He really wanted something to do. Anything besides just lazing around. Kala looked at him in shook again. He was already asking to do something and work for these bastards. Kala just shook her head and grabbed some of the french frys on his tray. on one of the four piles of them. She was suprised on how much kenshin ate. He used to never eat much back before. but that might have been because of being an orphan.

[Axel Morose]

Momo turned another shade brighter of pink when Kenshin poked her fang. For a second she was worried that he fang would pierce him... That would not be good. Not that it would hurt, but she didn't exactly want to get Kenshin all giddy from poking her fangs. Axel held back the urge to growl as he saw this. It really made him mad to see Momo treated like a monster for some reason. He held it back, behind a frown.

When Kenshin jumped to his feet and saluted Dr.Connel, Axel was a little bit shocked, and Momo was a little bit awed. She didn't pay the doctor too much attention. Neither did Axel. Who cared if the guy was the head scientist here? Just another person in a lab coat in their opinions. However, Axel was very devout to someone else here at the Scarlet Rose. Kyo Kiri, the king of vampires... Axel's savior... Momo wasn't all that attached to Kyo, but she really liked him, she didn't worship him the way Axel did though.

Axel and Momo both ignored Kenshin's salute to the Dr. They had no comment on such things. It wasn't their job to care about every other person's opinion of the head scientist. Honestly... Axel didn't like the Dr. very much. Momo didn't like him that much either. She found him a little intimidating and scary for some reason, now that he was no longer an angle. She glanced around, these were no longer lost souls, trapped in the clouds like her. Almost a month ago she had come to terms with this new life and realized that she wasn't dead. At first she had totally lost it and thought she was dead, that these other people couldn't possibly be alive, that she herself... couldn't possibly be alive...

Axel looked over to Kenshin as he asked what their orders were. He smirked, "We are training today, and have a seek and capture mission tomorrow." He then continued to eat his own food. Momo looked up at Axel, he wasn't going to be very happy tomorrow. She could already tell. Momo had already learned that Axel absolutely hated his job... Then it came to mind, "We were going to train after we went to say hello to Kyo." She said, glancing at Kala. Wondering if she knew who Kyo was.

Axel nodded, agreeing completely with Momo. They went to visit Kyo almost everyday. In case Kala didn't know who their DNA donater, and blood donater was he explained. "Kyo Kiri is the king of Vampires. They use his blood to keep test subjects from dieing on the operating table, and all of group V share his DNA." He said, keeping his eyes on his food. Momo smiled at Kala, "So in a way Kala, we could say we are related!" Momo grinned at the other girl, as if this was some really cool news. The scientists usually didn't go around blabbing this information, but anyone who had been here a while knew about it. These new people may or may not already know...

Momo glanced at Axel. She felt like they were close friends, best friends. She didn't know what Axel thought of her, but he had been there from the start, and out of everyone here he knew her best. So she would definitely say he was her best friend. Of course she was sort of shy and didn't want to go around blabbing to the world that she was Axel's best friend in the whole world, when Axel didn't even say that they were that close. She really didn't have much of an idea of what was swimming through Axel's mind. She knew him pretty well... Just not good enough.

Momo then started to wonder about Kenshin, their new partner. What was he like? Was he ever going to put on a shirt? All sorts of questions bubbled up in her head. She munched on her veggies and chicken. Thinking of stuff she would like to know about both her partners. Axel wasn't really that interested and just focused on finishing his food so they could finish up here and go visit Kyo. Then they could train for a while. He had just been ordered after all to make sure these two got proper training...

[Kenshin Toric]

Kenshin's ears picked up at the mention of the vampire king. Now, here was someone he would like to meet. Kenshin would defiantly like to meet him. Talk about powerful. Kenshin put his face in his hand and Leaned on it, finishing off the last sandwich in one last huge bite, chewing that made him look quite comical. Kenshin slowly chewed, swallowing bit by bit as he thought. Training and a seek and capture mission. Now, that sounded not boring. Kenshin hoped he was right. He needed some excitment. He hated just sitting around in this metal structure. Well, the nature room was nice, and the squirrels were nice. He liked squirrels. Kenshin smirked, gulping the last down and started on the frys, seeing one half of one of the four plate of them gone. Kenshin smirked as he begain to inhale them, all the while looking like he wasn't.

Kenshin heard the click click of more shoes and turned, seeing two guys in white coats and kenshin stood, but they waved him down before he saluted."kenshin can you come with us for a minute. We want to test some of your abilities." Kenshin nodded, picking up the last plate of frys and looked at Axel, then back at them and nodded, turning to him and said," I will meet you in the..." Kenshin looked at thw white coats as they said," Training room," Kenshin nodden, looking at axel and said," Training room as soon as I can. Kala, I will see you later at dinner if I can," Kenshin said and turned, a near perfect one hundred and eighty degrees that even had the scientist blinking for a second and then started walking with kenshin following, finishing the plate before they got out of the lunch room.

Kala frowned, his arms crossed as kenshin walked away. So much for lunch. Kala turned away, feeling tears come to here eyes a little and wiped her eyes before tears rolled down. She missed her old brother."sorry. Just...... Kenshin never used to be like that. Yeah, he was quiet and everything, but he hated authority and most of the time would always say ," Yeah. I'll get right on that," Or," Oh go suck it." I miss that man. they changed him." Kala said, watching her brother vanish around the corner. Kala really wanted her brother back. He would always have a smile for her, or just treat her like a princess and make her feel special. Or even just be there. Now, he was like a robot and looked at her like part of the background. That she hated, and it scared her.

Momo didn't pay too much attention to Kenshin's eating. She didn't force her eating habits on others. She ate covering her mouth, so no one would see her embarrassing chewing. She didn't know why she didn't like others to see her chewing, she just... didn't. She ended up eating more and more of her veggies until they were almost gone. Axel couldn't help feeling that his partner, Momo, was slowly becoming more and more of a vegetarian. He enjoyed his own meal quietly. Trying is hardest not to think too hard about what he was drinking. His tongue rejoiced as crimson liquid spilled onto it, but his emotions were in the dumps. He hated being a monster...

Axel could see more white coats approaching. He couldn't help wondering why they had to keep pestering his lunchtime. He did nothing, even though Kenshin jumped to his feet ready to salute yet again. Momo saw this as well, but she didn't stand up. Her purpose was set in stone. She was here to protect Baylee. As simple as that. If she did not do what was asked of her, Baylee would get hurt. Everything Momo did was for Baylee. She was doing all of this for what little family she had left in this world. Axel was doing this because he had nothing to protect. That was why he had to protect everyone else's everything. No one should have to loose everything the way he had. No one should have to suffer this way...

Momo smiled and nodded as Kenshin said he would see them in the training room. Axel didn't react at all. Then he side glanced to look at Kala as she spoke. Momo focused in depth on the other female. Kala wiped her eyes, and Momo felt herself clench her fist as she heard the other female's words. ."sorry. Just...... Kenshin never used to be like that. Momo held out her hand to the other girl, a sad smile on her face. "If you keep loving him, he might come back." She said, before feeling her own eyes starting to water. Why?! The whispers grew louder, and Momo ended up staring into the shadow only she could see behind Kala. Her chocolate eyes looked completely unfocused. The whispers were so loud now... Where is she? Do we love her? What is she doing? Can we see her? Is it forbidden? Is this forbidden? Why?! No, you must listen. Listen. Listen. Are we still being heard? Can we see her, do we love her? Baylee... Momo subconsciously took back her hand. Wrapping her arms around herself. Axel's icy blue eyes watched his partner as he recognized that slightly crazed and slightly more panicked expression come onto her face.

"Momo?" He said, trying to snap her out of it. Momo blinked, and looked up at him. She shook her head, as if that would shake the droplets of whispers from her mind. Then she pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. She began to quickly scribble down the same words. Yes, no, yes, yes, yes, no, yes! Baylee... She scribbled it down very fast, and Axel watched. It always kind of creeped him out when she did that. She wrote it down very fast, it looked more like scribbles then words, and then she set down the pen and took a deep breath. "Sorry. I'm..." she started, her voice quite. Axel interrupted her yet again. "Fine?" he said. The way the two spoke... Momo had a bad habit of not finishing her sentences,and Axel had a bad habit of finishing all her sentences. In just a little over a month they had come to this level of synchronization... It was a little bit amazing. However, what else did they have to do in this boring, white walled place?
