A faint sigh as the street lights flickered on dimly lighting the park. Again the cold wooden bench was now visited by a small framed girl, and a weak one at that. Mayumi plopped onto the bench with a wide sigh, again back in the hospital and pulling her same antics. It wasn't that she didn't like her new doctor, for the first time she actually did. Riku had treated her differently from day one, but she couldn't take the hospital for so long. Mayumi went to the one place she knew she could relax at least a little bit. Her illness took it's toll upon her very often, and so she drooped down a bit, staring at the ground between her hanging limp fingers. Dressed in her school outfit she could feel her body slowly begin to cool off with the cooling weather.
Mayumi finally sat up and fell back against the back of the wooden bench. Idly watching the last few people clearing from the park before it got too dark for them. A little girl and her running to keep up with her tall father, giggling all the while. She felt a pang of something in her chest, unable to place exactly what it was. She continued watching the two until they were out of sight, maybe she'd spend the night out here. No, Riku would notice. Moret tests in the morning no doubt, she let out a loud groan and tossed her arm over her eyes as if it was too sunny though night was falling quickly. She shoved herself off the bench shortly after, having gained some energy back. Mayumi grunted softly, and then quickly held her head as her vision started going black. Often a time it would do this if she simply stood up, but went away quickly.
Mayumi carefully, almost fairy like made her way over to the public fountain. Hopping lightly atop the outer edge of it as she made her way around it carefully. As if she were on a thin board high above the ground, and one wrong move could mean instant death. Mayumi giggled and smiled again, tracing her footsteps over and over again, until she got too careless. Slipping and falling into the fountain with a loud splash. Sitting up immediately the water was simply freezing. Mayumi crawled out, trying to wring out her shirt without taking it off, letting out another groan, it looked like her luck was only getting worse. Shivering violently as the fall in the water had only further dropped her temperature. Mayumi gripped her body tightly as if she could force the shudders to stop. Standing alone in the middle of the park, what a funny thing for such a silly girl...

Shivering in the ever cooling evening air, Eden wrapped her coat around herself tighter. She'd felt too cooped up at home and needed to go for a walk. And no walk was complete without looking at her favorite place in Liba: the fountain at the park. Sure, it was silly for her to love the fountain the most, almost childish, but she couldn't help it. It was just... so peaceful to her. It put her mind at ease, thinking of something tranquil instead of worrying about her sister all the time. The girl wanted to bring Isabel to the fountain someday. Maybe it would give her older sister peace of mind as well. She walked by a father and daughter, chatting idly as they made their way home. Guilt came over her suddenly. She'd had that all her life, a father to walk and talk with. Would Isabel hate her for that? Because she'd never known a father's love? Eden shook her head. "Whatever will be, will be. You have to focus on the here and now, Eden. Worry about what Isabel thinks after you've found her..." she whispered to herself. A loud splashing sound brought the girl out of her thoughts. It had come from the fountain, no doubt. Curiousity got the better of her, and she ran to investigate. There, she found a green-haired girl, soaked to the bone, trying to wring the water from the fountain out of her skirt. Giving up on the skirt, she threw her arms around herself, shivering violently. "Oh my! Are you all right?" Eden exclaimed. Without a second thought, she threw off her coat and wrapped it around the girl's shoulders. Ignoring the cold, she jokingly said, "Isn't it a bit late for a swim? It's way to cold for that."
