Cosette was walkng in the forest. She was wearing just a tank top and short shorts. Her hair was laying across her shoulders and was blowing in the wind. Her green eyes were shining with hapiness. Cosette had come out here to see the wonderful Gage. Gage was Cosette's long time friend. They were very close and knew almost everything about eachother. Cosette walked down the pathway with a certian arogance that only she can pull off. She had her head and shoulders held back and she had a proud look on her face. She walked swiflty and quietly through the park. She soon found a bench where she found a sleeping Gage. His dark blue hair was covering his flawless face. His eyes were shtu close. He wore a black jacket and a dark blue shirt under. His breathing was normal and he seemed to mumble unknown things in his sleep. Cosette looked him over carefully she walked over to a playset a few feet away. She sat at one of the swings and waited for Gage to wake up. She was swinging very slowlly back and forth. she was watching the un rise and all the mornning activity in the park. A old couple feeding the birds. The were both holding hands which brought a smile to Cosettes face. She than all the suddne heard a rustling behind her and she turned to see gage slowly getting up. He looked so cute n her opinion when he wasnt awake yet.

The young man had wandered out here the previous night after work. It was about time he go do his real job, but he hated knowing what he had to do... What would their faces look like when he told them? It was starting to drive him nuts. Why did he have to be plagued by his own personal feelings for this situation. He had seen them before, wandering around. They seemed like happy kids, and he hated that he was the one who had to tell them something that would ruin their happiness. Gage was already having a nightmare there on the bench about his own screwed up past... Heavy breathing and the footsteps of many heavily armed humans. She was running from them, as fast as she could. It was like she ran and ran but there were just more after every corner. Gunshots, a blood curdling scream, thud... Gage screamed in rage at them but they couldn't hear him. He was now on his knees next to what used to be his mother, begging her to not die and asking why they had done this. He already knew she wouldn't comeback, and that they had done it for their own selfish reasons. Gage started to open his eyes, when they opened to reality he knew it wouldn't bring any relief. That wasn't just a dream, it was a flashback. He couldn't forget it, but carrying around the memory obviously wasn't helping him at all. He sat up slowly, his eyes in something just short of a glare. e focused in on the bench, and then looked around at his surroundings. So this is where he decided to crash last night? He could barely even remember the previous day, and sighed. He finally spotted a pink haired girl, with a very familiar face. He got off the bench and stretched, one arm straight behind him, the other one bent and gripping the other arm. His blue hair was a mess like usual, but his messy hair seemed to attract the ladies just fine. "Hey Cosette, how's it going?" He yawned and used his ever silent feline like walk to approach her and wore a cat like smirk like usual. It was hard to tell when anything was wrong with Gage because he always acted pretty much the same no matter what.

Cosette:
"Good morning, Gage." Cosette smiles warmly at him. His hair was all over the place and he still wasnt wide awake. "do you want to go get something for breakfast? My treat." Cosette than brushed her hair to the side and smiled at Gage. Gage was Cosettes best friend and they were rather close. Although the one thing she did not like about Gage was hs other firend. His wanna be girlfriend. She bothered Cosette so much. Maybe it was because she was just like Cosette but Cosette always refused to the fact that they were alike at all.

Jade looked up at the sky. She was currently her house. Well not so much as house than an apartment. Meh, the difference didn't matter. Her right eye closed as she touched the white bandage on her face. Normally she should have been in bed from leaving the hospital from the crash, but pfft why would Jade do that? she had better things to do. sure her body ached, but she lived with it. Nothing like a bit of body pain to make you feel alive, right?
Getting up from her porch, she hopped on her bike, and drove off. Jade raced through the city of Liba, and pulled to a stop when she got to her parents' house. Her little brother Saiden was outside playing in the yard with a few army actions figures. She smiled and got off the motorcycle as he looked up, smiling. "Big sister!" He called out as he got up and ran over to her. she laughed and bent down. "Hey Saiden! Having fun playing?" She asked as she looked at him, He nodded. "Why don't you introduce me to your army?" She asked as he brought her over, naming them one by one.
"That's all of them!" He cheered as he finished. Jade giggled. "Wow, you got a pretty strong army there. Well, why not le them have a break for awhile. Want to ride with me?" She glanced at her motorcycle. A smile grew on his face. "Yeah!" He chirped as he ran over to it, grabbing his little helmet she bought for him for his birthday last year. She got on it first, then picked him up, setting him between her legs so she can keep a better eye on him. "Sister.." He spoke. she looked at him. "Why are you hurt?" He asked. Jade blinked and smiled, glancing at the window, seeing her parents' glaring at her. "I got into a little trouble, nothing big. Let's go." Then they were off.
Jade went slower with Saiden on here, but still went fast to give him a thrill. She turned into the park and picked her speed up, glad it wasn't raining today. Then again, if it was, she wouldn't have got Saiden. He laughed as he had fun going. Then Jade spotted something. Nobody could mistake that blue head. It was Gage. He was with Cosette, the girl who seemed overly obsessed with him and hated her for accusing that she liked him. Well, she did, but she wasn't going to admit that to either of them. She pulled up in front of them. "Gage? Cosette? Funny seeing you hear..." She spoke. Not really surprised, Liba was a small town. She was sure she had been in the same place as them before, she just never cared before. "Sister! Who are they? Are they brother and sister? Their hair is weird.." Saiden spoke. Jade covered her mouth to keep from laughing, then gave him an odd look. "Hey, my hair is pink too you punk." she laughed as she ruffled his hair. She let Saiden down. "Go play, okay?" She told him as he nodded and ran off towards the playground. She looked back at Cosette and then Gage, quirking an eyebrow. "Well doesn't someone look like they crawled out of a blue haystack?" She told him, referring to his hair.

Gage really just wasn't a morning person. He smiled for his best friend Cosette when she appeared, but when another pink haired female appeared on her motorcycle he was a bit surprised. She made a smart a** comment about his hair and shrugged, not really caring. He saw the kid she was with, and the resemblance between the two people. He had ignored the child's comment about siblings. He thought about being a smart a** himself and pulling something, but with two females in his current company that probably wouldn't have gone over to well. So the blue haired stud looked at his surroundings one more time, with the usual bored look he had. That kid had just reminded him of why he was here in Liba. It wasn't that Gage forgot but still, it wasn't like he wanted to be remember that he had to deliver the news. He rubbed his eye with the palm of his hand for a second, then returned his gaze to the girl on the motorcycle. He was wearing that same cat like smirk of his again, and it didn't waiver at all. "And someone else crawled out of the hospital." His expression didn't change at all. It was always hard to tell what he really meant when he was talking. Sometimes he sounded sarcastic, or like he was being a smart a**, but he sounded exactly the same way when he was being serious. The teenage male demon looked at his best friend Cosette, and continued to wear his feline smile. "Breakfast sounds good, but I left my wallet at home again, guess we will have to fish for it. Or is that illegal now?" Gage tilted his head as if trying to look through a mental book of laws that he wasn't supposed to break. he didn't find anything about it in his mental handbook of no-no's. He really did act like he was homeless or something. Fishing for breakfast probably sounded crazy to Jade. He didn't care too much if he seemed crazy. He probably would be soon, if these wretched dreams kept haunting him anyways. You wouldn't know he was falling apart by just looking at him though. He doubted that Cosette even noticed any changes in him. She might have noticed how he had been avoiding younger children, and home. It was really just getting to a point where this was all silly. He just needed to get the job over with. They deserved to know, and it had already been 3 weeks, how long was he going to keep them waiting? The male took a deep breath and then looked at the pink haired human girl with the motorcycle. "Would you like to join us for breakfast miss? You can bring your rug-rat too if you like." His way of saying it sounded very polite, but the words were a little bit rude. Calling a child a rug-rat might be a bit offensive. Yet again though, Gage didn't care too much. The s*** he had already gone through sort of numbed him to most people's complaints about his personality and behavior.

Cosette:
"Oh no its ok, I can cook at my place." said Cosette. She didnt really feel like going out since she can cook just as good as a resteraunt. The new comers were on a motorcycle and Cosette presumed that they were both related. "Here I'll show you the way to my house, although i would ditch the bike because I jut walked here." said Cosette. Cosette started walking towards her house waiting to see if the others were following or not. She noticed just a bit that Gage wasnt in the happiest of moods. But she knew that he wouldnt tell her if she asked so she decided to ignore it while the others were still here.

Jade watched her little brother run off to the playground. He immediately made a few new friends and started to play tag with them, then hide-and-seek. She envied her little brother, but she wouldn't admit that to anyone. The way he could listen to people and not get angry. The way he could get along with people so easily.. She wished she had that. She was so hot-headed and didn't like to listen to demands.
Jade swiveled her head around to face age as he spoke. She gave off a not so amused face. "I'll have you know they released me." Of course she was lying straight through her teeth, but she wasn't going to spend another two weeks in that place, watching as people got hundreds of visitors when they weren't as bad as she was, and she got nobody. It made her feel lonely. Her stupid parents wouldn't even let her brother visit her. She sighed under her breath as she looked back at Saiden.
She looked back at the two. "Breakfast? Sounds good, haven't had a good-cooked meal in a long time.. Mind if I take him home first?" She asked. "Ya'know.. before parents flip. I'll meet you two back up in a little bit." She said as she ran off and got her little brother, apologizing to the kids as she placed a helmet on Saiden and picked him up, placing him on it as she did as well. Starting it up, she raced off, disappearing in seconds.

Gage smirked and nodded, happy to have Cosette's cooking. He was a bit disappointed that he didn't get a chance to go fishing. It would have been fun to splash around and cook fish over a fire in the park. He wasn't sure if that was legal, but since when did he really follow the human's laws? He nodded at Jade's answer to the invitation and then followed Cosette towards her home. "I need a lady around to cook for me." He said absent-minded-ly. Like it was no big deal talking about living with a "lady". Gage wasn't actually serious about it. He was now walking right next to Cosette and started bumping into her and sort of leaning on her. It was sort of like how a cat nudges you with it's head when it likes you.
Gage's stray feline instincts were particularly strong. It was sort of weird and sort of adorable. "Cosette are you interested in kittens?" He said out of the blue. No pun intended. The tall male's expression seemed rather bored as he looked out ahead of them to see what was coming up next. He had a habit of asking random questions like that. Well actually it was relevant, but he had failed to connect it to the situation. That question appeared in his head when he thought about Jade's younger sibling, and his own two siblings. His younger siblings were both feline like himself, and he didn't know what he was really going to do about them. They weren't full grown yet so that made them kittens, and Cosette being his best friend was bound to meet them sooner or later. So obviously he should ask if she was interested in kittens.
He was being fairly affectionate this morning. Gage was truly a nice guy, he just didn't show it properly. His personality was quite callous. However he had a long history of good things he had done. The only good thing he had hesitated about doing in a while was his current task. Maybe he should bring it up with Cosette? It probably wasn't something that would really matter to her, but maybe if he told someone he had to do it he would have some motivation to do it. It was just an idea. A theory if you would call it that. "Do you mind if I use you for moral support Cosette?" He asked, looking down at her from under his messy blue eyes with those dazzling blue eyes of his. Gage had a reputation among the ladies for being... Well for being Gage, but it was too early in the morning to start his usual flirting routine. He was pretty serious this morning. Maybe it was the dream and the nightmare hanging over his head?

Cosette:
Cosette blushed a bit about a lady cooking for gage.. "Kittens are adorable, who wouldnt love them? And of course i will always be there for you Gage." said Cosette only speaking the truth. Gsge Blue hair was partially covering his sparkling blue eyes that made Cosette smile. She loved when he did that he always looked so cute. Cosette than asked," SO do you want to start heading to my place?". She than tucked her pink hair behind her ears. And than smiled warmly at Gage. Cosette than began to thin about how she was raised, her parents had always had raised her miltary fashoin nd here she was now asking a guy over so she could cook for him. She knew her father would have been mad about this but she didnt care. Gage was her best friend so it didnt really matter tha much.
